I'm in a server with almost 150,000 users. Wanna know something about it? There are many lull times when no one is talking, and then spikes of activity. Depends on the time of day, day of the week, and what kind of announcements have been recently made.

Now, this server is about the skate series. The new game is in development. The last one for this series was made and released was in 2010. You are going to see spikes of chatter when there's new stuff to talk about and discuss. As time moves on from the most recent announcement the chatter may slow. That's just how it works.

Now, instead of simply saying something like "community dead" (which is the furthest from the truth as it's clearly alive since we're all here waiting on a new game and announcements as it goes through its life cycle of development) you could, idk, say something actually interesting that creates engaging discussion. About the new game or any of the previously released games.

However, if your goal is simply to try and troll in the most unoriginal way, you can see yourself out. This place is filled with passionate gamers about skate. It's clear with actually being a member here that contributes to this.

Personally I think it’ll be a normal free to play release and we will have an initial world to get into and skate in and then full circle will tweak things and add things based on community feedback and the community will kinda help shape the game over time. We just need that initial world to be built to get into.

Hey everyone! I thought I would take the opportunity to introduce myself. I consider myself a Skate trilogy enthusiast. THPS was the first video game I played, and I've spent thousands of hours playing Skate 3 among other skate titles. I also enjoy skating IRL as well as fingerboarding. As you can see, i'm pretty obsessed with skateboarding mechanics and enjoy playing with anything that resembles a skateboard - my brain just seems to be conditioned in that way.

Recently, I have been playing SkaterXL and while I love the hardcore simulator-like gamestyle, I'm really entrigued as to how Skate. (skate4) can smash all competitors out of the park - and I hope it does.

I'm looking forward to the prospect of being an early tester of the new skate game and having a tone of experience that I think will add value to the developer team through my feedback.

Side note @sudden warren , I'm typically one of those people that don't share dreams with others because who actually wants to hear that? But last night I dreamed that I had a nice collection of skate. decks.
I didn't have any actual skateboards set up to ride and I knew if I did then you would put a hit out on me so I entered a different giveaway and got a THPS deck to actually skate on instead. It worked well at first and in my dream I even hit this great crooked grind! Then I went home and noticed the board had more concave than before. Upon further inspection it snapped as it was made out of cheap press board. I remember being devastated thinking that no other game boards were worth skating and I wouldn't be able to ever skate again.

Hello there, I just joined on this server, but I have played EA's Skate games before, mostly on Xboxes, I do have started playing them on middle 2010's, mostly on 2015 or 2016? I also do skate bit in real life, even though I have been fascinated about the sport of skating for many years and started doing it bit seriously on this year with small breaks due to reasons, even though I had a grocery store skateboard before many years ago, but I have a real skateboard currently, which I got on this year. I can balance bit on it, but training makes myself master, so I would do other stuff and balance with my skateboard later on. Also I'm from Finland

Mostly alone currently at a local skate park at the city where I'm studying at nowadays, I'm currently at home, which is at a lonely countryside town due to me having a internship currently at a city close to my hometown for 2 weeks, starting from last Monday. My hometown has a skate park too, but it's a boring one and I left my bicycle and my board at my apartment due to reasons, so I'm not going to skate much currently

I also have a friend who skates too, but he graduated before fall break, so that's why I'm alone currently
