Well, hypothetically, considering skateboarding is the epitome of self expression and encompasses so many different elements of creativity, I can see a pass type situation providing some amazing content for years and years to come

Currently setting up a deck to be a balance board for my mom so that's fun. Just finished gluing some fake trucks/stoppers I cut out of some wood lying around to make it a little easier so she doesn't slip out. Just gotta let them sit in the clamp thing overnight

One of my plans is to finish customizing my mom's new deck. It is a blank white mini logo deck for a balance board setup and as I was setting it up, I had a wild idea for a design and I'm almost finished.

Instead of just painting it where it could get messed up over time, I tried engraving the design, painting the engraved lines, then sanding the top so it's clean looking

I'm not feeling 100% this morning but I'm hoping to go to my first ever skate demo. Never been to something like that. It's all local so there won't be anyone there but it'll still be cool.

Like I have a friend I had only added on the Xbox 1.
We wanted to play skate3 together but even though we were friends we couldn't see each other. Learned we had to friend eachother via 360 menu to be able to connect together.
I have a feeling something similar is happening with the new account that's not letting you connect. You might not "exist" to the 360 menu yet and something like "downloading" your profile to the "360" might sync things up

i hope vert gets improved, most of what people focus on with skate is the tricklining and street stuff but nobody talks vert, its really fun tbh

skater xl's vert is nasty, session doesnt have it mostly and tony hawk is too unrealistic

if you look at the gameplay theyve showcased, it looks far from a beta stage, its called pre pre alpha for a reason

physics and mechanics seem to be almost there, but now they just need to get everything else sorted

the footage they showed up does look very fun though

more of a community focused sorta jig, which explains why its gonna be free to play

Because "pre/pre pre pre alpha" isn't really a thing in the sense of being something we hear or an official stage in development for gaming. Rather it's a way to get across how early in development they are and what we can expect to see in such an early state. It's a way to have us lower our expectations for what we see and understand that almost nothing will be polished but they want to share their progress with us anyway and have us on the journey
