How come? The default difficulty makes the game harder but also more consistent

I agree. It's also the case with Skate 2. Whilst you can film, you can't get as close as I would've liked, and any collision with the camera destroys the camera's path, making filming often tedious

There is a debug camera you can use on Skate 1, of course you need access to modifying memory, so unless you play on emulator or a modded console, good luck

You can't keyframe it either, so it's purely using the sticks and hoping for the best
