they offer a service where you can plug your controller into your PC and play select XBOX/360 titles so long as you have a decent internet connection

because it works through streaming and isnt as dependant on your PC hardware as other stuff

first: download the XBOX app from the microsoft store

then get a gamepass ultimate subscription (you can usually get a deal so it's cheap)
after then you can find skate 3 on the xbox app and just press play

all you need then is a controller that you can use

this is the only officially supported way to play skate 3 on PC and the only way you can play skate 3 with multiplayer on PC so it's not worth looking at the other options :)

honestly im scared about skate being a free to play mmo style game. it seems like it might let a lot of fans down. cause that the end of they day everyone wanted skate 4, a new awesome campaign and a game you can just turn on and play without connecting to any lobbies or anything. like skate 3 multiplayer was cool but most people just played the single player

I thought this for a moment too but then I thought, I really enjoy riders republic, steep, shredders, and all those games are the same where you join a multiplayer lobby and everyone jams together. The thing is, you don't need to play with other people just because they're there. there's nothing stopping you from just doing your own thing

also in all of these games there's a campaign/story mode/missions to do and it seems to flow quite smoothly. I think the next skate will be the same or similar

it's a new game anyway, I for one love the idea of taking the game in a new direction and evolving the series

I think Riders Republic is a perfect example. I loved that game and never felt forced to do anything online. I just did my events and missions by myself and it was so seamless. It being always online like that only made the world feel more alive, I think skate would benefit from that.

Well for instance balence is a task it self and when i wanna pop the nose up i feel i can do it better doing reg

If you are standing and someone pushing you from behind, which foot goes forward to stop you from falling?

Pick that and stick with it. Switching up too much in the beginning might help you learn how to skate both stances but it'll be a much longer journey than if you pick one and stay consistent with it and focus on switch once you have the mechanics figured out

So that's normal and there hasn't been many playtests. There hasn't been this long ongoing playtest that people are invited to this whole time. The list you sign up for puts you to be there as a chance to be selected whenever a playtest does happen. It's not like signing up for an early access type game. Getting mad won't speed up the process.
So just take a breather, be patient, keep an eye on your emails, and chill with us while we all wait.
