While checking things out I noticed my Illuvitar album is empty and it says I have 0 Illuvitars to set. I had purchased several Wave 1 Illuvitars and maybe a few from Wave 2. I can't find any of it now though.

It's all good, passion project and I went in without expectations. made it as cheap as possible to run over the past 2 years, but there are architecture challenges due to the sheer amount of minted illuvitars + album data.
Already optimized a few times but 1 more wave will make it a bit more expensive + tougher to maintain that's why am reconsidering. Also some of the features are already appearing on the official album (reward amounts + countdown, being able to find the best sleeves from your collection, etc). We shall see

It's not too expensive to host $ wise, $10-$12 a month I think. Costs are more around maintaining the code throughout the waves. The team changes the way album data is retrieved every other wave, more sleeves, more point opportunities, etc. Rate limits, price estimates, new illuvitar promos/properties add to on the complexity, etc. It's kinda hard to tell how complex it all is to get right unless you're building the app. Next wave ill have to double the ram which should bring it to around $15-$20 a month

Looking at the ranking I would also propose to put some more rewards, for example from position 50 to 40 1.2 ILV instead of 1, from position 30 to 21 I would put 2 ILV instead of 1.5 then from 15 to 11 I would put 4.5 ILV instead of 3 and 6 and 7 place with 7.5-8 instead of 6, so as to try to climb the ranking as much as possible ... the winter collection was very minimally put together... they werent d1sks, it wasn't promoted... it was also at a time of Illubium internal shifts as you can tell by the end of year ama. I wouldn't judge sentiment of beyond based on the christmas promo... Conversely I won't say it is all roses either. But nitpicking that particular promo doesn't take into account all the other variables.

• Illuvium continued trial and error of attempts to build playerbase (launch, misplaced rewards, Discontinued rewards, IPL, various other missteps)
• Communication issues
• Baggage

Positives:

• Q1 2026 Macro slightly improving (gaming as well)
• Migration to zkEVM (larger more active more compatible)
• MMO
• Return of elected Gauntlet tournaments
• Apparently big promo partner for W5
• I hear mumrmurs of other things like xp crates, burning mechanisms, other fun things that will add more progression systems.

So to me, while some of the negatives are still present and probably will be for a while, there are a lot of things to look forward to and will all reflect in Beyond as well.

Imo it would be a terrible idea to have certain game modes impact others. I love the idea of interoperability, and im all for shared assets and some cross game utility. But if it becomes almost mandatory to play several games, or if one game directly impacts strenght or gameplay in another, I would see it as a big turn off for many people.
Let's say a new player joins the ecosystem, he is a dedicated MMO player, one that would love to min/max his character and be competitive in the game he loves. However if several other game would now offer bonuses to his MMO gameplay/strenght, he would feel like he had to play those games too. And he hates those types of games. On top of that he would probably need to invest a lot of money too, especially if Beyond start having influence on his MMO game. Many more examples could be made.
So as much as interoperability is core to the IP, the team gotta be carefull that connect the games, but that the individual games are not influenced too much.

That might be my pc ,but it is slow. Sometimes clicking on illuvitar doesn´t open the info page. The biggest pain is to find what u want mostly because of lack of illuvitar info in the name ( expression,finnish). No recent sales tab. It takes forever to see what is actually newly listed.( lots of clicking needed). I didn´t find how to transfer more than one illuvitar at time from external wallet to passport. (sending hundreds of nts one by one not the best experience)

As for the speed, i feel the list view is less demanding. Might want to try that out if loading times are extreme for you in the other view.

So there will be a new Season after Wave 5 with new Illuvials? If so, I hope the standard keeps up. I still really like the artwork (and the music) they have and hope it is maintained at a high level and doesn't end up AI derivative.

The Illuvidex needed a revamp it was getting slow and painful there for a while. I'd love to see those albums getting more value and see some magic getting unlocked as people progress.

I have not seen the Beyond Album ranks for a year now. Shame I didn't stay in the race. Is that website still around - the one a community member built? I didn't have a backup of all my links and my laptop hard drive died...

I came back looking for the Illuvium music sound track also lost on my laptop - I like it as background music while I work for some reason... I didn't sell any of my ILV thinking no point back when it was $90... LOL. I also still have all those Land NFT's in Zero and a ton of fuel and what not for OverWorld. That's a beyond game Johnny and I started... but we havent finished it

I've considered just taking it on myself to finish developing out... but I have a lot of other things I am working on at the moment... and now there is a beyond game in dev by illuvium so not a huge motivator yk yk

I can understand you guys, I almost lost my mind in wave 3 when it was unclear whether we would get extra points for Tier 0 or not, and I also saw that I could no longer make money like in wave 1 or 2. But the crypto market is generally down, and I think ILV is doing quite well for all that BS going on. And I think that especially in the last wave, the Illuvium team has responded very well to the players. We wanted a burn system, we got one; we wanted more points for the reward Illuvitars, we got them; also the wave runs pretty well; we even all got a few too many gold Illuvitars 😂 But I really think this is a good path we are on, and of course, more could be invested in visibility and advertising, and Beyond also deserves a lot more attention, and I think that our time will come. After wave 3, I stopped trying to make quick money and now think more long-term. just my opinion but i can really understand you guys.

No, I also don't think that it will work out time-wise 😂 but I think if the project continues with set 2 and even more advertising for Beyond, I can give up my $6 rewards weekly for a while 😂 And eventually new players will come through some other Illuvium game, for example OW or Arena, some even came already from arena when they wanted a profile picture for the tournament. i´m still hopeful 🤞

To me the biggest issue is the lack of communication… a continued Achilles heel issue

Instead of cultivating an environment where players look forward to wave 5 and completion of migration.,. Players are met with a big ‘fuck you’ no rewards for the past 2 months when it was thought rewards were being accrued.

Very poor consideration for the community and adds more fuel to people who are negative about the project.

We are doing exactly that with Wave 5. There are lots more rewards and we're introducing chests which contain free disks among other things. Plus we're finally introducing a burn feature that gives you points towards more rewards. On top of that we're building a game around Beyond. So there is a lot more focus on the Beyond ecosystem moving forward.
