Basically their is no benefit to swapping to silv2 unless for some reason silv2 price goes up after I swap.

right now, ilv price is 100.56 and silv price is 36.60... there for if you purchase 1 silv for 36.60, you can use that during the sale and its value is now worth 100.56 but only during official sale, secondary market purchases are all ETH

There were originally many different levels of disks and they were way more expensive. They lowered the prices and simplified them to two different types of disks. Pretty sure I read that somewhere.

Yeah but that pricing system was really outdated and didn’t make sense for the purpose of illuvitars. I assume the mega d1sk to be somewhat more expensive but such a drastic increase in price I don’t think would make sense. I just find it interesting that we have a graphic and a description of what the mega d1sk is but it hasn’t been officially announced nor has a priced been stated anywhere

In game, the main currency players will spend to buy fuel and pay for in-game transactions will be ETH. But those who stake ILV and claim sILV2 (or acquire it on the secondary market), can spend that sILV2 in-game instead of spending ETH 🙂

sILV2 can also be spent on sales within the protocol, like the Land and Illuvitar sales... and in those sales, the sILV2 price will be 1:1 with the ILV token in buying power

That’s very true. I think I want to make a “what is Illuvium” video and leave out all any information pertaining to it being integrated with web 3. What is Illuvium? Illuvium is a video game. That’s what we’re trying to sell here. If we want to onboard traditional players the answer to what is illuvium cannot be, Illuvium is a DAO producing a block-chain based game with the most advanced tokenomics of any other project. It should be, it’s a super awesome game and then just dive into what the game is. I think I’ll do that.

My channel is new enough that I can orient it in a way where I can make videos that simply highlight how great of a game it is, and get new players the old fashioned way

A Basic D1sk costs 0.015 ETH and contains 1 random Illuvitar and 3 random Accessories (plus a free Tier 0).
The Ultra D1sk costs 0.075 ETH, swaps the Tier 0 for a higher tier, and includes at least one guaranteed rare.

Illuvitar is a monster right? To use for battle?

No not really. illuvitars are PFPs based on illuvials. There will be illuvials in the game that can be captured and are minted only after captured in the wild.

Illuvials in each set will have a finite supply. They are on a bonding curve. As time goes on, they will become harder to capture. The main in-game burn mechanic comes with fusion. To fuse a stage 2 Illuvial, you need to combine three stage 1's of the same type. It's the same for stage 3. You would need to combine 3 stage 2 illuvials. The first set will be genesis Illuvials, and once the 2nd set is released, you will no longer be able to capture the first set in the wild. You can still buy them from other players in the Illuvidex / P2P marketplace.

The rarity has not yet been defined, but like most NFT projects it is verified by the percentage of accessories in the collection, the album will influence the rarity too but we will only know when the collection is released so we can analyze the rarity percentages

Rarity is not defined but T5s were always more rare than T1s or T0s.

The only thing i dont get is if you get merch by completing an album it doesn't make sense to keep that collection completed because you already have the merch, same with some beta acces what if the beta is already over

I agree. The only one that made sense to keep the collection completed from what he said was the in person events. I like the idea for exclusive merch, they’re able to make it higher quality that way, however when I buy my merch and it gets to me, there isn’t really much stopping me from them going and selling the illuvitars.

They don’t necessarily want to encourage long term holds of every kind of NFT that illuvium provides. Resales will be a decent boost to the economy especially long term, so rewards that are both time sensitive and retainable makes sense to me. What better way to encourage ppl to buy, sell, and trade. Yet another reason to also invest in IMX with their new trading rewards since illuvitar sales will count. Of course NFA.
