I'm just getting started with all of this but I'm pretty sure revenue distributions from staking come from the revenue wallet once it hits 150 ETH. Your distribution is based on your share of all ILV staked. Staking for a longer period increases your share. So, you can increase your share either by staking more ILV or by staking your ILV for a longer period.

There's a few things that you've misunderstood.

Firstly, staking rewards have ended. The only thing happening currently with staked ILV is revenue distribution (and voting power in elections for council). Multiplier might be kind of a poor term here - With a 12 month stake, your stake has a weight of 2. This essentially means that for every ILV you stake, you'll get a double share of revenue distribution compared to someone who staked at a 1.0 weight. To use your example, if you staked 100 ILV for 12 months, during revenue distribution your share would be equivalent to someone's share who had staked 200 ILV at a 1.0 multiplier.

The other thing you're referring to is compounding. While yield was ongoing, there were a few factors in how often someone claimed their staking rewards, essentially balancing the cost of gas fees to claim against the value of compounding their rewards.

However, since yield is no longer active, this isn't as much of a factor, since revenue distribution thus far has been a handful of events instead of a constant flow. Additionally, revenue distribution is not locked, which was not the case with yield claimed as ILV. How often you claim your revdis is still up to you, and is still essentially striking a balance between gas fees and the amount of the distribution.

That’s helpful information. So you need to withdraw your staked SLP tokens from this site. Only after your eth/ilv SLP tokens are back in your wallet can you your liquidity from the sushi.com pool.

You did not actually get step 1 of the guide finished. All the terminology gets confusing. Same things spoken about with different words.

So that’s currently the only staking contract that be used by the public to make deposits.

There are three other contracts that used to be able to be used by the public but can’t be anymore. However These still contain ILV that are eligible for revdis and DAO voting. Revdis and DAO voting are currently the only two benefits of staking ILV.

Hi, @gloomy gazelle I'm calculating the daily staking/unstaking stats on ILV/ETH pool, but find the figure in etherscan is about amount of SLP, not the amount of ILV. Do you know how to calculate the amount of ILV? The ratio between SLP/ILV seems changing everyday.

Whenever someone takes their eth/ILV SLP tokens back to sushi and removes their liquidity then their eth and ILV tokens are returned to their wallet. It is also technically possible to calculate the amount of eth and the amount of ILV in each eth/ilv SLP token. But it’s not exactly simple and there’s not been a site that does shows the results of this calculation for awhile now. Luckily people now have access to ai tools and that can help. Take a look at this old post and see if it makes sense…

It could be that you need to edit the number to reduce the amount that you are withdrawing by a single digit (fixes something like a rounding error)

So 1.123456789275826748 ILV becomes

1.12345678927582674 ILV.

Another possible fix is claiming any pending rewards and then trying to withdraw. But I have a feeling that you don’t have pending rewards any more. 🤷

Yes, @gloomy gazelle , I get the same error popup as everyone else. It's not a failed blockchain transaction or lost gas because I can't even confirm the transaction on my Ledger device. As I said, I withdrew my revenue distribution completely and even erased the last digit. I should mention that I had no problem withdrawing other stakes though.

If they were LOCKED for at least 12 months. You chose how long to LOCK your deposit for when you made your deposit. Your deposited tokens remain staked until you withdraw them. How long they are staked does not impact how long you LOCKED them for though.

The DAO has always had tokens eligible for revdis. But they did add some more from what was once allocated only to in game rewards. I got to admit the latest ICCP Safety Pool Threshold increase is another kick in the guts.

I've been staking a sizeable amount for at least 2-3 years and have been catching the falling knife all the way down continuously accumulating and then staking. Even recently I purchased more ILV and staked thinking that the RevDis was close. To think that the double risk of staking for the max time and investing in Illuvium its tough to swallow. I think we need to think long and hard about any other options or those that have staked and are get some kind of reward or increased weight when Revdis is started again. This latest RevDis was going to be fairly decent because of ETH price increase so I was excited about getting some tokens.

Someone would need to go through all the txs that interact with the staking contracts from their wallet. I’ve got a filter on etherscan that could prove helpful for them. If you go to the My stakes page, it'll have the ability to withdraw any stake that is not currently in a lock up period, by clicking the Withdraw button on the right hand side of the indiviual stake. (depending on the weight you chose when you initially staked, this can be up to 12 months)

If you cannot see any withdraw options on any of your stakes, they are likely still locked.

This is what it'll roughly look like, and you can see I have some that are stilll locked on this wallet, so they cannot be withdrawn. But the one at the top, I can click and withdraw

It’s not exactly been laid out for me yet. I know that the v3 contracts will be in base network. So there would need to be something that each of us will need to do (activate the bridging at the least).

ADDITIONALLY, there is a system that gives incentives to those that have v1/v2 stakes. It’s not really clear to me whether those will remain on mainnet or be bridged. Either way it will happen later after documentation is published and v3 staking is officially announced and then released.

There isn't much we can do here. Staking is designed to create deep liquidity, the more people stake the more they should earn. We added the OG boost as a bonus to long-term stakers regardless of how much you staked, which is pretty damn good for the little guys

Yes, the OG Boost increases shard earnings but the shard rate is the default shard rate without boost. OG Boost doesn't apply to RevDis and yes, if the ILV value rises in USD before the daily snapshot, you will earn more shards

Nothing has been confirmed for what happens when Season 1 ends yet - but I would assume your OG status would remain, since you're technically still that level of OG staker hahha!

But, for now, can't confirm or deny anything as we don't know what the future of V3 will hold past the first season; nor what the shards even do yet. They could add additional modifiers, or just more things to the OG system itself. Hard to say for now I'm afraid

but if I had to guess, I would say the OG will remain in some shape or form.... but that is a guess, not official

I guess what you have to way up is any OG stakers they are ready to receive rev-dis and the tokens are unlocked. If you migrate over you are locked again for the period you select and may need to lock again at the end of the locked period and yes you get shards but we dont know what they do.

New Stake - Stake - First transaction - Transaction complete - *upper left corner said transaction 1/2 or something - went to second transtaction - completed that one - Funds staked

I'm using Ledger that is connected to Metamask.

Failed attempts were getting just Sent Confirmed.

Correct ones were getting Approve ILV spending cap and Deposit.

have you tried as Binet and the mine example from above post 🧐 dont trust MM extention and check the hardware wallet when you see this

I finally got my SLP stake updated! I think re-installing MM on chrome helped @naive hull thx for help also.

Except now I cannot stake ILV, however it seems to be due to high gas/GWEI? I have enough gas, but it’s not approving

Hey guys! I’m having some trouble moving my IlV stake to v3, coinbase doesnt seem to support ILV on base currently… at least sending it from coinbase, I can only see the eth network as an option… how can I safely move ILV to base network?

my DMs are open, but what you need to do is open a support ticket. Regardless of that, you can stake and then support will take care of fixing your boost & shards rewards.
