Your SLP tokens will still just be waiting for you if you don't withdraw your SLP. The staking program in its' entirety is staying, including SLP. The only thing ending is yield rewards. There will still be revdis for both the ILV only pool and the SLP.

The SLP only gets revdis on the ILV component though, but that's not new or a change.

Withdrawing if that is then followed by removing liquidity would prevent impermanent loss. Because you would no longer be providing liquidity. And if you are not providing liquidity then you would not be able to experience impermanent loss.

Impermanent loss is not something I’m able to explain well in a discord message.

The only thing happening on June 30th is that yield farming is ending. So all the ILV rewards that people have been getting for staking over the past 3 years, that program is ending. The liquidity pool will continue to exist, staked ILV and SLP will continue to be eligible for revdis.

Those rewards and then deposit is simply unlocked and it’s possible to withdraw. But if you leave them they will remain staked and earning and eligible for revenue distribution (revdis).

Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

I want to make sure I understand this correctly. If I decide to exit staking completely, I need to claim my rewards in sILV2 due to the 12-month vesting period associated with claimed ILV. If I claim my rewards in ILV, they will continue to earn additional rewards during the vesting period. Therefore, when I claim these rewards after the initial 12-month vesting period ends, the new rewards earned will also be subject to another 12-month vesting period. This is correct for staking yield.
The fact is that staking yield ends on July first however. So, this does not hold up.

If you claim your rewards as ILV, during the upcoming month you will get rewards again, and again like you said.
But once staking yield ends, you will only get Revdis based on any revenue. This revdis does not have a locking/vesting period and allows you to hop on out of the staking pool at any point in time 🙂

So I have been staking 30-50 thousand dollars for 3.5 years. Almost since day 1. And I received about 200 dollars as a loyalty bonus? About 0.5% as a thanks.

I asked how this "snapshot" was meant in April. Cause when you say "snapshot" it sounds like they checked who was staking what at that exact date. But I was assured by the Illuvium people here in discord that it was not the case. They took into account people who have been staking for a long time. So no actual "snapshot" but actually looked back in time.

I am starting to realize this is false and it was indeed a snapshot on that date. And loyalty was not rewarded. People who staked on April 14th, 2024, 23:59 UTC was rewarded.

Cause that is a extremely pathetic "loyalty" reward for being an OG staker since day 1.

Am I wrong?

I have paid like 5000 dollars in fees for claims over the years. I have paid over 200 dollars in single claims when ETH fees has been high. So it comes to me a bit as a joke "loyalty reward"

As you know V1 was not designed well. And costed a lot to keep claiming and re-staking.

Also I assume this "loyalty reward" is of couse not paid out to team etc with locked ILV staked. Since there is no "loyalty" about it. If you can't withdraw you ILV anyway. So the airdrop should of course not include these.

The loyalty airdrop as you may have read includes activity over 4 different products (staking, land, beyond, trading). If you assume a simple division of 1/4 each (not the number as far as I know but at least a starting point) that means there’s 50,000/4=12,500 for stakers. It’s not gonna be a lot when there’s been more than that many wallets staked. More than 2,500,000ilv currently staked (more than that in the past). The loyalty rewards get pretty heavily divided.

It means that all 3,000,000 ILV allocated to the staking contracts will have been assigned to wallets to claim. No more yield farming rewards.

Revdis starts when there’s enough revenue to actually activate the revdis contract again. That minimum threshold is 500eth. You can see if you have any revdis waiting to be claimed by looking at the rewards tab of the staking pages. Revdis was last activated after the land sale in June 2022. Check pinned messages to see the wallets that are accumulating the revenue and to then see how much is there. Last I checked it was under 400eth.

I had 1.71 “SLP” (ILV/ETH) staked in my account for about 3 years. As of today it was worth around $1,800

I went to withdraw my investment and I received 18.83 sILV coins (not sILV2) and 1.71 SLP coins.

These are basically worthless in the market.

Yield farming ends. But revenue will start being distributed when the games are making revenue. And revdis goes on indefinitely. Stakes tokens are also eligible to vote in ILV DAO elections. So staking does not end.

Nothing happens to the pool, it just stays there being the pool indefinitely. The thing that does happen is that yield rewards stop. So you won't be getting the listed APR anymore on your position. Knowing that, you can withdraw it, or you can keep it in there. The ILV portion stays eligible for revdis (same as it is now), but there's no longer any yield.

Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

1. Check that you hold the SLP tokens in your wallet. The contract address can be found in ⁠https://discord.com/channels/760344898200666112/814430845079126057 . Withdraw your staked SLP from the MY STAKES page if you have not done so already.
2. Navigate to sushi.com
3. Click “Connect” Image 1 below
4. Click on “Pools” tab. Image 1 below
5. Click on the ILV/ETH Pool (it will probably be at the top of the list). Image 2 below
6. Click "REMOVE”.Image 3 below
7. Click “MAX” (or whatever amount you are planning to remove)
8. Approve the transaction to approve SLP token spend (if needed).
9. Approve the transaction to remove liquidity.

If it’s locked then it’s locked. It cannot be withdrawn if it is locked. Your deposit is still eligible to earn revdis so it’s not useless.

Unstaking is WITHDRAWING unlocked tokens. Tokens that are withdrawn are immediately withdrawn to your wallet.

CLAIMING pending yield farming rewards starts those rewards’ time as vesting for 12 months.

Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

NOTE: Pending rewards are the yield farming rewards. Those are the ones that will be locked for 12-months after they are claimed. REVDIS tokens are claimed and immediately withdrawn to the wallet.

I also had to reactivate the settings on my ledger’s ethereum app. So it was once again blind signing and showing debug info and showing nonce. It took a ton of finger clicks with all that debug info. But got it done.

You can also do the math. The illuvium staking dashboard should give you your SLP count. And your usd value of that total SLP.

Divide total value by total SLP tokens, giving you value per SLP.

Divide value per SLP by 2. Giving value of the ILV half of 1 SLP. Divide the ILV value of 1 SLP by the value of ILV. Giving you the count of ILV in each SLP.

Divide the other half of the value by the value of ETH. That fine you the eth count in each SLP.

For whatever reason old v2 SLP tokens like these aren’t being supported for showing much info in most data sites anymore

The rewards have ended, but the revdis continues. If you staked in the SLP token pool (ETH/ILV), the ETH part doesn't count for revdis, only the ILV.

You don't need to stake again, but only ILV is eligible for revdis. To switch to the ILV-only pool, you need to stake again.
