#🥩〕staking
1 messages · Page 2 of 1
was using flashbots so I switched to mainnet but still seeing the error message, using v Version 10.18.3 of metamask
I tried again with different browser and on mobile, still getting an error although the error message screen looks different now.
Hey Galactic... what are you setting your gas limit to? Usually the "cannot estimate gas" means you need a higher gas limit to process the transaction
GWEI right now is in the 30s... so perhaps try setting your gas higher to something like 40+?
gas just keeps going up lmao
was literally 4-8 wei this morning when i first started
Better wait, sundays are usually better
Hmm, do you have any rewards (not RevDis) pending on your dashboard that need to be claimed?
I think @worn turtle mentioned an issue like this was happening and that a workaround was to FIRST claim any pending rewards as ILV.... then goes to the withdraw page to withdraw whatever it is you're trying to withdraw
Can you try and select the checkbox first?
same result w/ check mark
I did claim rewards earlier and wasn't able to un-stake, now i think i have a 1 cent reward..
ok claiming... hope thats it then
ok still doesn't work after claiming... im just frustrated that I've spent like 4 hrs banging my head on this wall.
I will probably just have to wait another day since my stake became available today, I am starting to think
theres something going on with the date which does not recognize my stake is unlocked today. Maybe I should
just try again tomorrow
The reason I think its something related to my staking/unstaking date is that I can see someone else was able to
unstake 1hr 38 min ago so why am I being an exception? This seems like the issue most likely. I will just try again tomorrow
You have to claim the ILV dust
Not sILV2
@stray plover
@final steppe
Once you claim ILV rewards
You can withdraw
A fix is being worked on still
I did claim the dust but as sILV are you saying I have to claim as ILV in order for it to work?
Correct
Ok thanks 🙏 that was definitely it. Important distinction that it must be claimed as ILV as silly as it is to have a new pool
I just bought some ILV on binance. How do I stake that now? I would like to use my hardware trezor wallet - but is that possible? My Trezor does not allow me to create a "ILV" wallet
You need en ETH wallet on your Trezor, after that you can import your Trezor wallet in metamask for staking
the second part I got - thanks. So I withdraw my ILV from Binance and send it to my Ethereum Trezor address?
Yup! If you've got your Trezor imported to Metamask, I recommend just clicking on your Metamask and clicking on the address at the top to copy/paste.
ok perfect. Only did Ethereum/Bitcoin transactions - just to be sure.
When transfering that ILV to my ethereum wallet - does that cost the ethereum gas fee (so I need ETH in binance) - or does that cost some ILV to transfer?
You need ETH for gas fee
ILV is a token on the ETH blockchain
ok got that - thanks to you both 🙂
Keep in mind, every transaction you do on the ETH network will require ETH for gas fees... so transferring the ILV has a gas fee, then staking that ILV would be another gas fee... and then any time you claim rewards-- gas fee. And here's a little overview of the steps in case you need it ⤵️
When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:
- Acquire either ILV or Sushi LP tokens.
- Go to the official Staking App.
- Enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired.
- Decide your lock duration. The longer the lock, the higher the weight.
- After approving the contract, confirm the staking of the desired tokens.
What are reasons to not stake Gemini USD on thier platform for 7%. I used to use many other decentralized platforms for up to 20% on stables (multiples at once) but that had higher risk imo. I guess the main downside is that they give you a 1099 which makes it so you pretty much have to report it on your taxes. Other than that, what are downsides you see. It seems to be the best option for staking stablecoins currently
I won’t ever recommend an exchange, I know of a stablecoin/BTC pool offering ~13% APY right now👍🏼 that’s what I’m doing right now
I got a problem when trying to stake ILV via my trezor. I have 2 Ethereum addresses on my trezor. When connecting on the page https://staking.illuvium.io/staking my trezor wallet it always connects with the first one. But the ILV are on the second Ethereum address. Any hint, how I can select the second address?
Is your trezor imported into Metamask? If so, you should be able to click on your MetaMask extension in the browser and then click this icon here to view/switch to your other wallet addresses
ahh, that works - thanks again remini 🙂
Awesome! No prob -- let us know if you have anymore questions 🙂
Oof btc/stable pool. The impermenant loss on that will be way to much.
I can find 15 percent on stable/stable pool
I’m too skeptical of %ROI that high on stables haha
Fair enough
where do u create the ILV ETH pool
up^ I have an idea just making sure
The Official ILV/ETH liquidity pool was created on Sushiswap 🙂 You can find the link directly to the pool in #🔗〕helpful-links
so ILV basically a $100 stable coin
Anyone getting an “applications error: a client-side exception. Has occurred” error when you go to the “Reward” tab on illuvium.Io website?
does anyone have an idea of how many of the 10 mill will be staked at any 1 time? given toeksn are set aside for rewards/marketing etc
Yes. This spreadsheet has the data you are asking about. #🥩〕staking message
Technically, treasury tokens are staked. Just not in the public pool, but instead in a revdis only pool. (The same is true for the vesting preseed, seed, and team tokens)
The wording of that error is not one that I remember seeing.
What wallet are you using? What browser?
What does etherscan say?
i got this problem as well ytd when im using walletconnect
If it’s not on etherscan then your wallet is not properly connecting to the blockchain to send the transaction for confirmation.
Oh so you do see the transaction.
The tokens should be listed in the vesting tab
page 1 is 01Aug - 07 Aug
Firefox on MacBook Pro. Coinbase wallet
Have you tried clearing your browser cache? It can clear some issues sometimes.
So you only see yesterday’s (or older) claimed tokens in vesting but nothing from today?
Oh, i tried another browser and they are shown on the vesting page now.
Thanks for your prompt reply and your help.
I did. Same issue
Also, reboot the computer
Other pages load fine? Just the rewards page throws the error?
Can you screenshot and share the screenshot in #🚨❗〕report-scammers (it’s the only channel you can post a picture.

thanks for this
i cannot withdraw my ILV form vesting. is it something wrong with it?
Hey there-- are you talking about ILV rewards from staking or ILV you staked initially?
yes. ILV revards from vesting. I had sushi ILV/ETH in a first place then i took out LP from sushi and i got revards as ILV. they were locked for a year but should be unlocked few days ago. i have some error with gas calculation 32603
Claim your ILV dust first and you should be fine
What Fraggy said-- there's a known issue that the team is working on related to this. The current workaround is to go claim ILV rewards again (I know it's a small amount 😔 )... but then after that you should be able to Withdraw
i claimed sILV2 two times already but it adds up new dust so impossible to claim ILV
You have to claim ILV, not sILV2
i don't want another 12 months vesting on dust ILV. i claim as sILV2 that i could use in game. I just want to withdraw my ILV from vesting which was 12 month locked already
There is a known issue the team is working on. The only way for now is to claim ILV dust first. If you don't want to do this, you'll have to wait or a fix.
if i claim dust as ILV then this wont lock my previous vested tokens for another 12 months?
No
Correct. Whatever tokens are unlocked right now on the Vesting page will still be unlocked. Only that ILV dust you claim will be locked for 12 months.
thanks guys, worked
Awesome! Sorry about all of that-- team is aware of that issue though so.. looking forward to when they get that fix out!
Any update on where the 4% fees from land sales on IMX can be seen? There was supposed to be an update a week or so ago so not sure if I missed it. Thanks.
Hey gunglichin! Pelican pinned the wallet address from Immutascan which shows the ETH received from trading fees on the IlluviDEX. Is that what you're referring to?
Yes! Thanks!
Cant claim or stake!
I answered you on telegram
Ok. Thanks
I have the same error yesterday
So basically anyone who staked in august and beyond did it for nothing if ILV price goes down to $30?
Probably. But that's on the assumption you could have predicted where the market would have gone. If the bull market continued then ILV would have continued to rip. This way atleast people hedged their losses with yield
Any idea where price would have had to stay for it to actually have been worthwhile? It seems that with the amount of unlocks, it was always destined to make staking pointless.
Depends when you bought in. I for one learnt of ILV late and got in around the trailer. (1k). After staking in the SLP I'm somewhere around 300 for breakeven at the moment but that goes down every day
Unfortunately this is just a result of the game being delayed. If the scope of the game wasn't changed we would have a game released prior to unlocks, and the revenue buying pressure would have offset the unlocks. Due to the scope change, we will get a much better game. Unfortunately at the expense of stakers but that's just life. I'm still thrilled with how the games looking
If you've got conviction with the game like I have just use this opportunity to accumulate more at a lower price
Not in my view. My principle stake was somewhere around ILV=$800. This is still my personal view today NFA #💰〕token message
The only way I look at it…. If you had $10k to invest. And ILV goes to $10. You’ll have 1,000 ILV. There is no way you will yield 1k ILV from staking $10k in SLP. But, it’s impossible to predict that, so I understand.
I see no reason to stake SLP at this point. Just wait for unlocks and buy outright.
if you want to view it on a pure $ value perspective and base your opinion on how much pure $ value you can make you are more than welcome to.
Unlocks have been happening linearly since end of jume
What other way is there to view it? Lol. We invest because of money.
then you should read the tokenonmics again or my personal post.
I read your post. It referenced hoarding. I’m not sure the point you’re trying to make. I’m not mad or fudding.
TL/DR Version NFA DYOR
$value of tokens right now " lower is better" - $30 ILV = awsome - More value in accumulation
of ILV tokens you own is the only thing that matters
put in X amount of money stake locked for max time ( right now 12months but would lock for X years if weight was right) = forget about that money - no longer exists
collect revdis = collect profit while simultaneously increasing the value of your primary stake passively with compounding interest.
Yes, of course the # of ILV tokens you own matters most. But to achieve that, you are much better waiting for more unlocks and lower price in 6-8 months and straight up just buying ILV, than staking SLP right now. You will end up with more more ILV buying outright than staking SLP.
I personally have made more than my primary stake since fall/winter last year. # of tokens (100% SLP)
Yes, I mean if you had to stake now or buy now. Not back then.
Obviously price was way too high in the fall and SLP was the way to go no doubt.
I see there will be a point when the game is live and producing revdis where i will transfer my SLP in to the core pool as it will make more sense to turn that ETH into ILV
This is common wrong understanding, you still earn the same amount of ilv, and you only make a loss or profit when you sale your tokens, hodl is the key here. I believe in this project, so I hodl.
For example I got around 0,5 ilv revdis from landsale (currently about 50$) but I wouldn’t sell before token is at least at 2k (after Release etc in 2024/2025 so I actually got 1000$ revdis from landsale
Do we know the total unlock amount of ILV tokens?
Hi Guys, Is it still possible to get SLP to stake in the ILV/ETH Pool?
in pinned messages at #💰〕token
I think you’re missing my point but it doesn’t matter. Not like we could have predicted the market.
Yes, working normally
!lp
Providing liquidity is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires multiple steps:
- Buy ILV and ETH
- After approving the Sushi contract you stake a 50/50 value ratio of ETH and ILV
- You receive SLP tokens. (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet)
- Stake the SLP tokens through the Illuvium Staking App and set your lock period.
See #🔗〕helpful-links for official links.
Thanks guys, figured it out. Don't know what happened, but instead of linking both, I bought more ILV with my ETH. All good 😂
One more question, can I somewhere find how much ILV and ETH there is in the SLP that I have staked?
Put the LP contract on Zerion that you will see how much each LP is worth
!contract
ILV Token: 0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e
ETH/ILV SLP Token: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
sILV2 Token: 0x7E77dCb127F99ECe88230a64Db8d595F31F1b068
Thanks a lot!!
Heya, question regarding revdis to the team. We know how the distribution of in game revenue is going to work but what about other revenue like revenue from merch, movies, books, partnerships? When there are large costs like producing merch, does revenue go into the vault to be distributed to stakers or only net income (revenue minus costs)?
You can stake ilv for silv2 correct?
you can choose to receive rewards in sILV2 instead of ILV
And what’s the advantage? The rewards are higher?
if you claim in ILV, they stay in lock for 1 year, yielding and receiving revdis during this period, if you choose to receive in sILV2, there's no lock, it goes straight to your wallet
Ah okay and is there a certain reward for the annual lock vs the real time unlock
the longer the lock time, the higher the APR and the higher the revdis, in the 1 year lock the revdis is twice as large as in the 1 month lock for example
Okay so are silv2 rewards unlocked monthly?
rewards are calculated per block, they can be claimed at any time
but it is good to wait until the amount is greater than the cost of the network gas fee
Ofc. Thank you for the info it’s greatly appreciated
You're 100% correct. If you knew ILV was going to be $90 or less right now, buying then and putting into SLP then was a mistake. In hindsight, we probably should have known, but without actually knowing the SLP was a good guaranteed way to get more ILV.
As for now, you're still 100% correct that buying ILV now is a bad investment when you could wait a week and easily have 10% more. This is because there's very little unknowns. We KNOW the game won't be out in a week, we KNOW unlocks won't stop. Thus ILV price in relation to ETH has to go down without anything to hype it more than unlocks drag it. I'm still withdrawing my unlocking ILV and pairing it with fresh ETH to turn into SLP because I already have the ILV money there, the ETH I'm putting in isn't losing money by becoming SLP. Theoretically selling it and just holding something other than ILV is optimal, but that's what I'm doing with the rest of my fresh cash. Sitting and waiting.
Good question 🙂 i personally wouldnt expect the merch to be worth it if the treasury, that pays for everything, only got 20% of the revenue. If ive learned anything from watching sharktank for 10 episodes is that a margin of 55% is very good on clothes for example. So never will the treasury be able to make any gains if they only get 20% of the entirety. They would lose more than 50% of any money they invested in clothing merch after all.
(Dress costs 100$ sold for 220 -> 20% goes to vault, vault would pay 100$ and get a return of 44$. Makes no sense.)
So in the case of merch it would be obvious to me if they used the profit/net income, and not the revenue.
what is the best wallet for staking?
I suggest Metamask or 1 inch
Yeah totally agreed. Would be great if we could receive an official statement on that topic from the team.
I'll see
Definitely would need to be profit distributed to stakers over revenue when it comes to merch
Can you stake on trust ,atomic,or status ?
NO. you can stake using different wallets but the staking has to be on the ILV staking website.
If I claim rewards from ILV staking pool does it automatically claim the revdis rewards?
no, they are different transactions, they have to be done separately
Thanks! 👍
When withdrawing from the pools.... Can I withdraw from multiple pools with one transaction or will every pool have a transaction fee?
Deposits must be withdrawn individually. So say you staked SLP tokens on two separate dates and over time they become unlocked... you will need to process two transactions to withdraw those two deposits.
If you have many ILV __rewards __that you've claimed over time and they have unlocked, you can select all of the unlocked rewards you have on the vesting tab and withdraw them with one transaction.
Is this the correct channel for support with staking on https://staking.illuvium.io/ ?
how can we help 👀
so this is the correct channel?
i mean, you can go to generic #❓❗〕community-help but here you will find more staking oriented ppl ^^

I have SLP staked in the ILV/ETH pool, for 6 months lockup, which unlocks in 42 days.. I also have claimable ILV rewards right now. Is there any point or benefit in claiming these ILV rewards now, or is it best to wait until the SLP unlocks? I thought that the rewards only were claimable after 6 months lock up, so I am confused why I have rewards to claim now..
if you claim them today, they will work for you, they will get same rewards as you would put them in to ILV pool
(but they will be locked as well)
You are able to claim rewards whenever you'd like!
If you claim the rewards as ILV, they are vested and locked for 12 months in the ILV Core pool. earning the APY of that pool for those 12 months. You can only withdraw those ILV rewards to your wallet after the 12 month vesting period has finished. Or you can leave them there after 12 months to continue earning rewards.
If you claim the rewards as sILV2, they are withdrawn to your wallet immediately... but keep in mind this is a very different token. sILV2 is used in-game or in ecosystem sales like Land sales and the Illuvitar sale. These tokens cannot be staked or earn rewards.
the only reason to not claim, is network fees, so depends on how much you have in rewards compared to what you will pay for claim (dont tell us 😉 )
Thanks.. I'm not sure what you mean by "they will work for you".. I don't need them to work anywhere.. I am not playing or needing any in game tokens. I realize I can claim ILV whenever I like, but I am wondering Is there any point or benefit in claiming these ILV rewards now, as ILV?
oh yes, so as Remi said if you claim them, they will start getting this 13% APR (as for todays numbers) that's what i meant by "work for you" 😛
PLUS they will unlock faster (cuz unlock time counts from time you claimed them)
Yeah, so right now, you're getting yield farming rewards and earning revenue distributions on your staked SLP tokens only.
You won't earn any yield farming rewards or revenue distributions on those ILV tokens that are pending unless you claim them. Once claimed they are basically "staked" and locked in the ILV pool for 12 months so you get that APY and revdis ⤵️
The DAO distributes 100% of vault revenue to token holders.
Revenue distributions are claimed through the official Staking App as unlocked ILV. The vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by the main Sushi pool, which increases the token price.
Ok, thanks again.. What is supposed to happen when my SLP unlocks in 42 days? Do I receive any other/extra rewards on that date, of any type, or only whatever ILV is claimable, which will be slightly more than what I have claimable now?
Once the SLP unlocks, nothing happens except you will be able to withdraw your SLP, if you choose to. Otherwise, you can leave the SLP staked there and they will continue to yield farm and earn revenue distributions at the same token weight you set when you first staked them.
Thanks.. but I will have a bit more ILV to claim in 42 days, than I do now, so waiting until then to claim it all, will be less expensive in gas.. correct?
If you plan to withdraw your SLP, then I would just wait. When you withdraw the SLP, it will automatically claim the tokens you have pending too.
If you plan to keep the SLP staked and continue earning rewards, you can claim whenever... you will still keep earning more ILV even after the SLP is unlocked if you keep the SLP staked there 🙂
I'm not sure yet, what I will do in 42 days.. no plans decided yet.. so the only rewards I am currently earning for the SLP I have staked ETH/ILV pool for 6 months lock, is in ILV or sILV, either of which I can choose.. correct? I am not earning any other asset?
Correct. Your options are ILV or sILV2... no other assets available as rewards 👍
How do I determine if I have any Impermanent loss, from the ETH/ILV pool during the 6 month lock up. in order to determine whether to remove the SLP from the pool or wait until the IL recoups?
on sushi you have "Impermanent Loss/ROI Calculator" for SLP but we would have to ask Remi if we can post last part of URL for you 👀
if i did it correctly for March 3rd 😅
Thanks, I will have to study that.. If I decide to remove SLP from ILV/ETH pool, when it unlocks in 42 days, I will then have both ILV and ETH instead of my SLP, correct?.. which I can then withdraw both of if I want, but the total ILV rewards claimed, will still be vesting for 12 months before I can withdraw them.. am I understanding correctly?
i think you will get back SLP, you have to go for extra step and swap SLP for ILV and ETH on sushi
Oh ok.. swap SLP on Sushisawp back to ILV & ETH.. but but the total ILV rewards claimed, will still be vesting for 12 months before I can withdraw them?
correct 🙂
If you choose to claim the rewards as ILV, yes. They will vest for 12 months before you can withdraw them. They will be in the ILV Core Pool earning the APY of that pool 🙂
we did good here Remi, we deserved a solid "! work" command in #👑〕bot-commands
You can take a look at the SLP Token value on Zerion to see how much ETH and how much ILV make up 1 SLP... depending on how much SLP you have, you can try to determine how much ETH/ILV you have before you withdraw.
Thanks to both of you for your help.. It is appreciated.. I am a little clearer now.. I think I will wait for another 42 days, and claim rewards then.. I am not very knowledgable on the workings of DISCORD either.. so let me know if you need anything in return and how to do it!..
biggest reward we get, is to have ppl like you here 😉 nothing more is needed 🙂 don't be shy and talk with us (community) in other channels as well
just don't go to #795845536128303175 its a dark place 😈
If I decide to keep SLP staked after it unlocks, I will still be earning rewards.. but if I locked it up again, I will earn higher rewards.. correct?
"If I decide to keep SLP staked after it unlocks, I will still be earning rewards." CORRECT
"but if I locked it up again, I will earn higher rewards.. correct?" ONLY IF YOU LOCK IT FOR LONGER LIKE 12months or something, or you add more $$$ to it
I see.. so if I leave the SLP staked after the 6 month lock unlocks, I will still keep earning the 6 month locked rate but it will no longer be locked.. correct?
Correct.. you're getting it! 🙂
Thanks.. when you are staking many different assets, and every one has a different system to learn, it's like having to learn a whole load of different languages all at once, and remember all the different words and spellings and grammar in each..! Thanks again.. 🙂
No problem! I totally get it. Let us know if you think of anymore questions
Do you expect or think that gas fees for claiming ILV rewards will be higher or lower after the infamous ETH merge?
merge does nothing to gass fees, so it will still be up to network useage
this days you can snipe 4-6 gwei witch is around 2-4$ per claim
ok.. thanks.. When I staked in APRIL 2022, APR was 199% for 6 months.. Was that rate locked for 6 months &/or where can I see the current APR%?
so, it showed you 199% but i think it was for a 12 months lock, longer you lock, bigger APR you get
you can check current APR for 12m lock on official illuviums website
Easiest way would likely be on the "Staking" tab of the website. If you proceed as if you were going to stake some more tokens, you can click on the "6 months" option and it will show you the current APY for that
ok thanks.. but where can I see the APR/APY% that I have been receiving for the last 6 month lock?
ok, now i'm ashamed of my answer
oh wow. i should’ve waited before restaking my SLP for another year 🥲
My lock period is up. If i leave it there would i still get the apy?
Yup! You'll continue to earn with the same token weight until you process the withdraw transaction 👍
Question if someone could help please. Getting the below error when I try to claim Rewards, first it asks me to connect to my wallet (used to always stayed connected), then once connected this error appears:
Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).
Have tried this with various different browsers on mobile and desktop, any ideas?
We are looking into this error

I'm getting that error as well
Started you a private tab and @brisk surge
Had this issue a few days ago as well. Any help is appreciated
start you a private thread as well
Thanks Dick!
Nice pfp 🙂
dont know why he had to call me names
Hi Arash! Nice seeing you here!
You too my friend 🙂
lol
He may have a private thread but can I have some diet bread
Hi again.. maybe you didn't see my last question yesterday? "ok thanks.. but where can I see the APR/APY% that I have been receiving for the last 6 month lock?"
I think there is a calculator pinned, don't think its stated somewhere while it changes every 2 weeks i believe, average of 3% lower or something
Maybe more now with market and unlocks
Hey DJC! Unfortunately, I'm not aware of an easy way to do something like this... unless you have been keeping a record of it on your own since the beginning. Keep in mind the APY is variable and it is constantly changing and you would be receive whatever the APY is at the at the current time. The APY you saw when you first staked the tokens is not "locked" in.
Thanks.. I thought that the point of locking it in for 6 months, was to secure the APY% that was advertised at the time for 6 months lock, which was 199%.. I did take a note of that at the time.. So what was/is the point of locking then if the APY is variable anyway?
It is variable in the sense that if more money is put into the stake then the APY would be lower, and conversely if less money in the stake the APY would be higher
The longer you lock for, the higher your APY will be.
I want to be able to capitalize on the most revdis as possible. Do you guys think the smarter option would be to go with the SLP and then covert the eth into ilv or should I try and get as much ilv if it goes lower to maximize the amount of tokens . Just looking for some insight
Didn't see a support page for staking so I guess I'll post here. I was trying to stake my SLP tokens just now and I keep getting this "UNPREDICTABLE_GAS_LIMIT" error anyone know what that's about?
it never brings up my metamask for gas parameters, it just gives that screen after I select max amount of SLP and 12 months staking
I
also tried in both firefox and chrome, same in both
Typically it means you need to increase your gas limit… but can’t do that if your MetaMask isn’t popping up, huh?
Have you tried clearing your cache, cookies, and browser history and trying again to see if MetaMask then pops up?
yeah I can get it to pop up for other transactions and can even claim rewards. But even after clearing cache, trying a different browser and trying incognito browser it always gives that error.
Ok so I figured it out! I had an old approval that was just over what I staked last time so this time the amount I was trying to stake wasn't below the threshold and I guess the Illuvium site doesn't know to look for "under-approved" transactions and that error was a bit of a red herring. I had to revoke my prior approval and then do another approval and it worked. Not sure how easy if would be for a dev to check for that kind of condition but I would think its only a small check to add in case it happens to someone else that doesn't like doing infinite approvals
👀
Oh interestingggg… so you mean the approval Sushiswap requests when you’re trying to process a transaction with a token for the first time?
nope this was the approval for the SLP staking contract to use my SLP tokens
I had last approved on 5/03 for 4 SLP and staked 2 and change and so when I went to stake 3.1 SLP more it was over that max of 4 but didn't know to ask for another approval
Ahh that’s what I meant! Sorry, not sure why I said SushiSwap. I meant the first time using tokens on the Illuvium website
haha yeah no worries it does say Sushiswap in the screenshot, and yep exactly. I dont like doing infinite approvals so I had enter what I thought was a reasonable amount but got me into trouble
Very interesting… you’d think more people would have encountered this issue too… perhaps they have and just haven’t been too vocal about it. I appreciate you sharing this info
Will just tag @worn turtle and @hexed bough to possibly look further into this and see if it can be verified and addressed.
I know some stakers are currently experiencing an issue with a similar error message but it’s when they’re trying to WITHDRAW rather than stake more tokens. The workaround we have is a different one which involves claiming ILV rewards before trying the transaction again.. That issue is still being worked on so maybe this case could help in some way 👀
Yeah I thought so too but idk maybe I'm just special
and of course! I hope it can help in the future, was a bit tricky to figure out
thanks!
Yeah, I was wondering this as well. What if it’s just a special case
Regardless, still good to know!
Wow interesting
Ohhh and fwiw I remember I had a similar issue (completely different error though) during the land sale with a prior approval for sILV. My transactions kept failing until I realized I had an old approval for sILV, revoked that, then the illuvidex prompted for a new approval and I was able to get land with sILV again.
Hello gentlemen. I'm very new to all of this - Illuvium / crypto (as new as it gets), and i'm trying to absorb as much info as possible.
Would love to clarify some doubts that i still have - one of them is, do we receive revdis only by staking (ILV and/or ETH) ?
You get RevDis on ILV stake and LP (ILV/ETH) stake, but on LP token stake only the ILV part is taken into account for revdis calculation
Time for some study now, to see the pros and cons of staking using the ILV pool vs. ILV/ETH pool.
Appreciate your answer, thank you.
study about impermanent loss, there are articles from binance about the topic and online calculators to simulate the values
I'm learning both subjects at the same time: Illuvium zero / buying land (still need to clarify a thing or two here, but I'm pretty much ready to go for the next land sale event (whenever it takes place)...
... and the staking side of things. I've heard about that term you mentioned (definitely sounded like something we want to avoid, and it is now on my notes to read / study, thank you).
I forget how to stake SLP
Sushi ==> Add liquidity ==> take SLP by staking ETH and ILV with the same portions (dollar-wise) ==> stake in ILV staking website
Anyone know if this means im no longer staked as in my 365 days is up? Do i need to withdraw and re stake?
It's no longer locked, you can do with it what you want now. You can just leave it like that and keep earning, no need to relock for now.
Ah okay, thanks. So I can leave as is if I want to keep earning rewards no need to re lock.
Correct
Does staking/locking duration effect rev divs too?
yes, the longer the lock period the greater the weight for revdis
Is there a weight to SLP like the ILV pool? Is there a lock period? So if I contribute to SLP my rewards are higher but revdis is not because there’s no weight to it and it’s liquid right away unlike ILV pool?
the weight for the SLP is the same as the ILV in relation to the lock period (the greater the lock, the greater the yield and revdis) but only the ILV part is considered when calculating the revdis for the LP token
Okay so the weight on ILV portion is 2.0 if it’s locked for a year + but only earns on the ILV portion
correct, the ETH portion in the LP token is disregarded for RevDis
Does anyone know the rates off hand as it stands currently
Are you talking about the APR/APY on the staking pools?
Ye thank you. Trying to figure out if I should maximize apy or if should focus on maximizing the amount of ILV tokens that I have.
currently I got a small amount in the ILV Pool staked. When I stake with a second transaction additional ILV to that pool - how will the withdrawing works in the future? Will I be able to withdraw it with 1 gas transaction or do I need 2? (ofcause when both Staking times will run out)
Yes you can withdraw both in one transaction, as long as their unlocked
What was the thing grant was talking about where you can buy discounted ILV at different lock times? Is this coming available soon?
I think he mentioned this so that if a staker wants liquidity they can sell their stakes with their lock times to someone else without the ILV ever hitting the liquid market
That's the forge. It was a previous IIP, but didn't pass. It's now being reworked, and would be used in the future for capital raises by the DAO. Since that isn't a priority right now, the team is focusing on other areas. I wouldn't expect it that soon, as given there is sufficient runway at the moment and selling the treasury ILV at this price likely isn't in our best interest.
Do we know what the run rate is?assuming no revenue distribution
From Danny at the council meeting on 15-06-22, 18-24 months, with potential to stretch further if needed. #📯〕council-chambers message
Anyone know why RevDis is disabled? I have a fair bit of ILV staked and LP tokens staked too. I claimed once RevDis once and now nothing
All the revenue was already distributed.
ah ok, so it was a once-off thing from the landsale right? Future rev will be distributed when future rev is made
Yeah next revenue event will be the Illuvitar sale and then game launch
I think ultimately I want to maximize the amount of revdis I want to receive and part of me feels that if I lock in the SLP I will miss the opportunity to get the most amount of ILV tokens that I have in terms of USD because that is currently what I am sitting on. I’m sure that the APR in the SLP will continue to steadily down over time, so the rates we’re seeing now at the end of our lock surely won’t be the same. From an investor stand up point in the longevity of the game the money paid out to investors will be done through revdis. It is making more sense to me as I am brought closer and closer with the reality of creating my first stake. If the reason I’m locking is because I believe in the future of the project, isn’t it more beneficial to solely get as many ILV tokens as possible to maximize on the potential revenue the game draws in? Say when my stake unlocks in the SLP and sure I’ve made profit but then I go to convert my eth to ilv. Depending on the price of each at the time there is a chance I would not be able to acquire as many tokens as I could have in the first place. On the other hand if eth goes stupid crazy and ilv stays relatively the same at the end of the locking period I could get more ilv than if I had originally just gotten the ilv. So I am torn. A soul looking for someone with maybe past experience maybe you’ve dealt with the same internal struggle
Is it possible to re-lock the SLP to increase the weight,? How would I go about doing that?
If you locked for 1 year the first time, there is no need to re-lock
Thanks, I understand that it is still staked. I would like to know if there is an option to lock again and double the weight? Or is 2 the maximum possible weight?
For now, 2 is the max.
Thank you! 💖
The way I thought about this is, can I get more ILV from locking pure vs locking SLP.
10k gets you about 108 ILV rn, half that if you SLP. Can you get more ILV through SLP rewards by the time revdis becomes relevant?
I did get more ILV from SLP than I could've bought then; but if I were to buy now I would've gotten wayway more still.
Will it work out the same way for you? I can't predict.
🔮
Thanks. Just thought the balance seemed a bit low in USDc for that kind of runway. Now I can’t find the wallet though - do anyone have the wallet address for the DAO?
Pinned in token
Thanks 🙏
this is probably a stupid question and already answered but im a little but short con time this week. does unlocked SLP tokens need to be withdrawn and staked again in order to recieve staking rewards?
no, tokens continue to yield even after the lock period is over (with the initial weight) and elected to revdis as well
thx, so i'll just leave it there then.
Same question but just to be sure. My stake in ILV pool is now unlocked (the vesting is done). Should I withdraw them and stake again?
If you leave that staked deposit there, you will continue to earn rewards at the same token weight you initially set when you first staked.
No, unless you want to change the weight, for example you put a lock of 1 month and want to lock it to 12 to increase yield and revdis. But if you want to leave it yielding with the same weight, just leave it in stake and it will continue yielding normally and receiving revdis as well.
Thx guys
As of right now holding USD/ETH > staking SLP > staking ILV
This is because ILV value is dropping faster than SLP yields tokens.
Staking ILV is just shy of worthless right now because there's no revdis.
If you were only torn between staking SLP/staking ILV TODAY then SLP wins by miles because by the time revenue from the game even really starts up SLP would yield endough tokens that you would have the same amount as staking ILV today would. I.E. if you stake SLP today equivalent to 30 ILV and equal amount ETH compared to staking 60 naked ILV, in 6 months w/ SLP you'd probably have about 60 ILV and still have the ETH too.
That being said there's no way to tell how long ILV will bleed or where the bottom will be. Sentiment can change rapidly and who knows how low it will go before people consider it not worth selling. The problem is that it's hard to tell how revenue will go after release. If it's tepid then SLP will outperform ILV. If revenue is ridiculous then revdis could outperform SLP yield, but from my calcs it required something like $200mm+ monthly revenue to beat SLP yield.
this type of analysis always ignores the ape factor
unlocking and swapping your tokens gives you a lot of eth to blow on stupid shit, and you may come back to ILV when its cheap with far less than you should have
Sure, if you have no plan you may gamble some money lol
But the person was asking for a specific plan and what strategy would yield the most ILV.
I think having eth as a hedge will potentially help offset potential losses. SLP seems to actually be safer in terms of having your return
I just noticed the revenue distribution rewards on the rewards page. Cool! Does anyone know when this started being awarded?
Started about a month ago. Its over now. That was just the revenue from the land sale so we wont get more revdis until the next revenue event.
Bingo. Personally I've got an OKish amount already in SLP and enough ILV claimed or staked that I will end up with a good amount of ILV. Just enough to heavily supplement income if Illuvium does pretty well, and enough to not work if Illuvium does great. I'm not pulling any out to try and gamble on short term swings and nailing the bottom, I'll keep what I have in and any further additions are being strategized.
Also still adding to SLP by withdrawing ILV rewards that unlock and adding ETH to them. That's basically risk free additional yield since I consider the ILV portion spent money, and I'll still have the ETH (IL taken into account).
When will we be able to transfer our stake to a cold wallet without having to re-lock, have they said? Staking v3?
If you staked in v1 then you will have to withdraw to change wallets.
I thought it was going to be an eventual change though?
Is slp smooth love potion?
Providing liquidity is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires multiple steps:
- Buy ILV and ETH
- After approving the Sushi contract you stake a 50/50 value ratio of ETH and ILV
- You receive SLP tokens. (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet)
- Stake the SLP tokens through the Illuvium Staking App and set your lock period.
See #🔗〕helpful-links for official links.
this👆
Yeah I’ll look under there and then I’ll look at a video cause some of this is jibberish to me
Slp isn’t the best term, cause smooth love potion=poison potion
take a look at impermanent loss and liquidity tokens
Thank you 😊
Hi all, probably a pleb question but is the max amount of ILV 10 million? And the emissions end after the last epoch 78?
Hey Max supply is 10M but it will get lower as ppl claim sILV2 instead of ILV so it can never be 10M but less. Yield ends on July 2024. Not RevDis though. It will be eternal until ILV ecosystem exists and makes revenue.
Music to my ears 👂 Definitely a long term play. HODL the limited in supply ILV tokens. Demand for ILV will probably go up fairly quickly once the game launches and other market participants realise the potential of ILV. Love the team. Love the game.
Was reading through and just curious. Why do we not receive RevDis from Land Royalty Fees?
We will
Hey , I have unstaked my SLPs which I have 10 of…. They don’t seem to be worth anything ?!! I have tried to convert them on MetaMask and sushi swap only to get the message “price impact too high” !!! HELP

you need to remove the liquidity from the sushi pool. Theres a tab somewhere on sushiswap where you can exchange the SLP token for ILV and ETH.
to add to Scoot's response, you gotta go to Sushi, Choose "add liquidity", in the URL bar change "add" to "remove" and then you can turn t back to ETH/ILV.
When you have the time, could you make write a nice post we can pin here for this?
Like this?
Go to Sushi, Choose "add liquidity", in the URL bar change "add" to "remove" and then you can turn t back to ETH/ILV
In the pic it says ETH/Sushi, but you can change whatever token you want to change it to, in this case, ILV and ETH.
Make sure to have SLP address imported to your wallet to see what you have. all addresses are in #🔗〕helpful-links

Is SLP pool unlocked immediately or do they have a vesting period too?
If claimed in sILV2, there is no vesting period, if claimed in ILV, it has 12 months
I mean the amount you decide to stake not the rewards portion👍🏼 thanks
Yes, you decide the lock period before staking, the bigger the lock, the higher the yield and weight for revdis
Is your wallet connected?
yes
go to the thread
need some advice, i have 60 unlocked ilv tokens now, is it worth swapping half to eth and go in the slp pool? someone have the maths for me?
another one, if i sell these tokens now for say 4800$ and wait until ilv price is half buy back 60tokens and pair with eth, do i get more slp tokens than i would now? since dollar value stays the same
since June 30 holding ETH > SLP > staked ILV
Would you have more SLP? If you held ETH, definitely. If you held stablecoin, hard to know since ETH value is part of that, and ETH value could do anything with Merge coming up.
Personally? I'm happy that the amount of SLP I have will accrue a decent amount of ILV if I just sit on it, so I'm not in a rush to get out or add more to make sure I get the number I want.
Any fresh money I add to crypto I'm just buying and holding ETH waiting for the Merge.
As soon as any ILV unlocks I'm matching some of that ETH over and converting to SLP, restaking at max since it's better than just leaving the ILV staked, and adding the ETH doesn't lose value from ILV bleeding. The way I look at it I'm adding ETH to my unlocked ILV to counteract the bleed. Technically selling ILV is the optimal play, but I'm taking a halfway approach to play it safe. Even if something WEIRD happens I still have my staking SLP and will have tokens. Can't imagine liquidating everything waiting for the low and something happens where I miss out buying super low. Like a coma.
thanks for your reply ser. made up my mind over night and gonna add more slp on one way or another, might do both approaches. happy farming 😉

Hey guys where can i stake ilv currently and whats the apy?
You can find the website in #🔗〕helpful-links
Awesome, it says the rewards are temporarily paused, does that mean if i stake now I wont earn anything?
Where does it say that?
I was going to send a screenshot but it wont let me, its on stakingrewards.com
Don't know that website, you can see the APR on the Illuvium staking dashboard
From the Illuvium Team:
To solve issues with staking and unstaking, rewards have been temporarily paused until Staking V2 launches. During this period rewards will still be calculated, and will be rolled over into V2 only for those that remain staked for the entire period.
V2 was launched like 6 months ago
oh haha ok thanks, last question how is it that the market cap is 50ish million but total staked amount is double that
Cause MC only takes into Account the circulating supply and a lot of staked tokens are in a vesting period.
oh right okay so is the total market cap the 50ish plus the 100ish or is the total fully diluted just the 100
nevermind ive checked coingecko thanks for your help
You can choose to receive in ILV or sILV2, if you choose in ILV the rewards are in lock for one year, yielding and eligible for revdis during this period. If you choose to receive in sILV2, there is no lock period.
am i still vesting if i dont claim my unlocked SLP?
if you don't withdraw the unlocked tokens continue to yield in the initial weight and receive revdis as well
so there are no cons to keep it unlocked there if i wanna keep staking the SLP right?
correct, unless you want to change the weight, for example, you put on 6 months and want to increase it to 12 months, then you have to withdraw and stake it again, otherwise you can leave it there without problem
What I do when a staking vest claim is stuck? what happens if i hit cancel?
is the transaction stopped?
just went thru now that gas dropped back to 9.... i claimed at 5 gas, it quickly shot to 20, and sat there pending for over an hour... as of a second ago it dropped back to 9 and went thru, i guess that's why it stalled...
you can speed up the transaction in the MM itself, or wait for the gas to arrive at what you selected
Does anyone know what the decay rate is of the SLP daily on average?
if i hit cancel though, i would lose the quoted gas, or any clue how that works?
if you select cancel you will pay another fee for a 0x transaction to be made, canceling the previous one
It depends on staking participation. Overall, it's 3% decrease every two weeks. It goes down more if more people stake, and up if people withdraw. It's been fairly stable for a bit, with just a little trend on more staking
and the lower it goes, the more it takes to make it go lower
Yeah I know it’s variable I was just looking to see if anyone had tracked an average becuase it’s obviously gone down over time and most likely will continue too. Have to do the math if it is truly worth it to go SLP over ILV with the token itself being at such a discount, very well could go lower in a year bjt in terms of longevity id rather maximize ILV as opposed to hedging for safety
Ultimately at this point this SLP seems like the safer play, but that’s assuming the price of ILV will continue to bleed over a year. I’m not so sure. I think timing the proper stake within the next 3-6 months of straight ILV could give you the most opportunity for return from a revdis perspective. The question then becomes, do you stake into the SLP over that course of the 3/6 months until you(being me) are ready to create the year long stake in the ILV pool. At the end of the day for me it is maximizing revdis weight with having the most amount of tokens possible
I've been tracking, though an average isn't really helpful. It's more sentiment from the market and illuvium that drives it. To your point, it's a bet on how you see interest and the project going in the future. Slp still rewards way more. Once revdis kicks in, ilv will become more valuable. Total slp staked is about the same as it was at the beginning of 2022, so the 3% decay has been the bigger factor the past 8 months
With slp, you also have IL due to divergence of eth and ilv. That's (hopefully) offset by higher rewards. If you believe ilv continues to bleed for a while, then why stake ilv now?revdis isn't starting tomorrow, so there's less rush on that side. That said, nfa, and it's up to you. You have the right ideas, just a question of how it plays out
agreed, short term ILV or SLP at full bonus, or wait
This is good food for thought. I’m not sure a 1 year lock is currently the best idea for the SLP I’d be much more comfortable with a 6 month lock. Not anything against the team more so, I don’t want to miss out getting the most amount of ILV tokens I can. Once the merge happens things will be a lot more telling. I just hope that my belief that it has been priced in already is correct
i just use the basic approach, buy a bit every week or two... leverage, dont do that mental mind game of, oh i should have or shouldnt if it goes lower, buy some more, it evens out till payday comes... if you believe in project, then you know it doesnt matter now, it matters in a couple years
i started buying ILV at $1100, then 550, then 400, then 250, just now $75... heheh so overall im down to average of $350 or so now... and my rewards is jacking that up... that $1100, doesnt even phase me
Hey guys, is there a mod around ? My staking is having issues
My staking rewards have not increased since around about the time that revdis came in from land sale. From the looks of it the system thinks my ILV is on version 1, but I upgraded as soon as we were able to
(or at least I think I did - I went through a process prompted by the guide that came up at the launch of v2)
Did you go though the whole process ?
FYI : it will still say VI when your done if it looks like this after the upgrade process your fine
#💰〕token message
No I haven't claimed, that's what it looked like but rewards have not been going up
Or rather, I claimed once, and the rewards accumulated to a certain point after that and then stopped
Not sure then if you fully upgraded and it looks like the picture I posted it should not have "stopped" do you still have stuff in your vesting tab ?
Yeah, I've withdrawn it now to re-stake in v2
you withdraw your priciple ? you should still have ILV ewwards in your vesting as thoughs needto vest for 12 months
Yeah, the rewards are still vested
Not sure why your rewards are not increasing then mabey @cunning perch can help they know more about staking than i do

can we go back up again
Sure
When re-doing SLP stake after 1 year, do I need to do an "approve" transaction again?
darn, already withdrawn. It's asking me to approve the pool again, i guess because this is v2?
Can anyone else confirm? Also when I view the metamask TX its saying its approving a small amount of SLP, only about 10% of the amount I am trying to restake.
Yeh it says proposed approval limit, and it's only at like 1.15 SLP. Is there any documentation for this anywhere? Should I manually edit it.
They need to update UI to make it more clear that you dont need to withdrawal. Same regarding the proposed approval limit for SLP, I think it's a metamask update that did that, but should be some documentation on the site.
Are you certain that it was not some sort of 1.15…x39e? (Massive exponent) I just added a limit to something and noticed that’s what was happening for mine. Had to manually lower the limit to what I wanted.
Do other stakers here get no positions found when looking at Sushi pools?
All my SLP deposits are locked with Illivium. Will they only appear here after they unlock and I withdraw?
you will have to have your SLP in your wallet to show. If you have staked it in ILV staking website, then it's not in your wallet. It's in ILV pool.
Have you been able to withdraw your SLP?
It's explain in the pinned messages how you can withdraw

hey guys, a wonderful afternoon, is there a video or description on how to provide liquidity so i can stake my ILV? I think i might just be blind, would appreciate a helping hand 🙂
thx got all staked 🙂
Glad it worked out.
Hi. i need advice. SLP I staked 1 year ago has unlocked. How can I re-stake it?
will it be multiple transactions? when I withdraw, will it trigger claim of ILV from the LP pool rewards?
Keep it in, it still earns
Will it trigger second ILV Claim when I try to re-stake again?
you don't need to stake again, the tokens keep yielding even after the lock period ends
oh! will it earn at the same rate as the 12 month staking APR?
yes and with weight 2 for revdis too
This is awesome! I didn't know thanks 🙂
good thing I thought of asking here before I did it myself
That's why we are here
I just checked the staking page in a long time, and the vesting page shows my tokens are still on v1? I thought these were upgraded when we did the upgrade to v2 and restaked?
You upgraded to v2, this means the v2 contract can read your v1 stakes. That's why it says v1 next to your v1 stakes
Ah right thanks for the quick reply
The ILV and ilv2 stake has any different in price?
There is no ILV2, it's sILV2. Their price is the same in the ILV ecosystem, not in the open market which is unofficial
only has ILV stake, not sILV2
lol where can i stake ilv?
The staking website should be in #🔗〕helpful-links
guys i have 5 SLP and am wanting to sell then shift to a new wallet. How do i work out how many ilv and how much eth i would get?
Hey Womble— you can see how much ETH and ILV make up 1 SLP token on Zerion. I recommend just googling “eth ILV SLP zerion” if you want to check that out.
Then the actual withdrawal of SLP happens first on the Illuvium Vesting Page. Then you take your SLP tokens to the Sushiswap site to withdraw your liquidity. It will also tell you on Sushi how much of each token you’ll receive if you proceed with withdrawing your liquidity
legend, thanks
sorry me again, am just checking on sushi swap app, what token would i select? only has ILV and SLP love potion
you mean you are trying to turn your SLP to ILV/ETH?
yes, then i want to restake as i am shifting wallets.
check out the pinned messages for how to change SLP to ETH/ILV
got it, thanks heaps
Just restaked my ilv rewards for LP 1 year 🚀
how long did you stake it initially?
was the reward for my eth/ilv stake 1 year ago
I prefer to stake for a year with the 100% apr to sell at these prices
Do i need to restake my unlocked SLP to gain rewards?
No, as long as you dont withdraw it will keep earning at whatever weight you initially staked it at.
Alright. Thanks fellow liz
hi all - how do we unstake LINK from the old V1 flashpools?
No, i just change the ilv, for ilv/eth because the APR
It can be done. I’ll start a private thread so this won’t get lost.
I just bought a ledger wallet, and i just want to clarify and ask some things.
- I am able to stake ILV through ledger wallet because its compatible w metamask
- I would have to withdraw, transfer, and restake my current stakes on my online wallet as they unlock in order to have them on my ledger (tough deal)
- Will I be able to play the main game through ledger wallet? Yes because its compatible with metamask?
- Can I/ how do I transfer my land from online wallet to my ledger?
Thanks in advance!
-
yes. If it is through MM, then yeah you can stake. It's just gonna be normal MM work + it's gonna need confirmation on your device for each TX.
-
If you want them in your MM-Ledger, then yeah. Since it's going to be a new address and you initially have staked on V1, then you will need to withdraw, move to a new address (here MM-Ledger) and then re-stake and lock.
-
You should be able to do pretty much everything. I myself have everything in a Ledger so we are in the same situation.
-
When you are in IlluviDEX, in "my assets" when you click on a land you should see that button. You can transfer using that

can someone explain why i only got 1.65 ILV after staking 6 ILV for 1 year? I thought I was supposed to get double
i was locked in when it was still close to around 100%
the APY fluctuates it isnt locked in
In which pool were you staking?
It's gotta be the ILV only single side pool if he has 1.65 in rewards from staking 6.
Did you Upgrade your deposit when staking v2 went live?
no

So are you gonna buy now? 😄
Already had ! 🫢🤫🤭
Hey guys does anyone know what is the minimum that i can stake?
You can stake what ever you want, just gotta be sure it's worth the gas cost
i have 0.07 SLP token but i cant put them in, my balance is shown 0 on your site
a reconnect solved the problem, sorry to bother 🙂
Not a bother at all!
Please feel free to let us know if you any additional questions 🙂
Just so you know if you stake 0.07 SLP you will currently be earning about .00186 ILV per day or $0.14. If you pay $5 in gas to stake it will take you 36 days to break even with the gas. With such low amounts it's better just to buy ILV
what is difference between ILV and ILV/ETH staking? why would i stake in ILV pool if its APY is much lower?
ILV only pool
ILV/ETH has chance for impermanent loss
Will the ETH 2.0 merge affect the ETH in the ETH/ILV pool. Is there anything we need to do prior?
Not unless you are a miner. Watch this so it might answer your question #💰〕token message

Yes, like any other token, just add his contract in the MM for it to be recognized
wondering if someone could help me here. I have gone through the process of unlocking my vesting for SLP. I went through 2 transactions and on the 2nd the transaction failed for whatever reason. Hey @brisk surge did you resolve your issue?
hey Arash, no im stumped as what to do. Ive seen a few failed transactions from others recently as well
not sure if its the same issuehttps://etherscan.io/address/0xe98477bdc16126bb0877c6e3882e3edd72571cc2#
is stopped because the gas fee is at 2 gwei, in the metamask itself you can identify the transaction and pay again (with a higher fee) so that this stopped transaction is accepted
ok thanks, will take a loo
i have cleared the transaction to clear the cue. Is there any other way to locate it?
If the transaction is still live it’ll show up on etherscan as pending.
ok ill have a look
The best solution was probably to SPEED UP the transaction.
But maybe not. Sometimes contract interaction transactions that are pending for too long simply end up failing and need to be made again (for a couple different reasons)
no transactions pendinghttps://etherscan.io/address/0x07eA333F47fb24ab5984a7Ef958A2FC1b0ce79E7
i cleared the cue on my metamask so am unable to speed the transaction up
Is this another of your wallets? https://etherscan.io/address/0xd355ad3f71bb9103e7a3e59bbfdda72d1e567150
yes
not the wallet im claiming my SLP on though
even when i go to claim my normal reward that also comes up with an error
Ok good good.
have also tried on 2 laptops and both show the same error
This is not as good. But there’s very little reason to claim these rewards at this point.
Your goal is to withdraw your eth/ILV tokens yes?
totally, i claimed 2 ILV prior to claiming my SLP with no issue.
Yeah. There was also a failed transaction where you tried to claim rewards… again. (Probably that’s why it failed, the rewards for both pools had already been claimed)
When you try to WITHDRAW the SLP from the vesting tab do you get this same error?
yes
My mod powers have accidentally been taken from me for a short time. I’m not as able to find solutions. BUT etherscan is showing a number of failed transactions as you say. None of withdrawals. All are claims. I wonder if the UI is calling the wrong function. The last UNSTAKE transaction was successful. 11 hours ago.
But it seems that this may be the normal timeframe between seeing another UNSTAKE transaction.
i appreciate the help, i hope it's not my end because I'm totally stumped on what to do.
Hey @brisk surge So you may have to wait for @cunning perch or @candid kettle to setup a private thread. But you could try clearing your browser cache and trying to withdraw the SLP again. It’s possible that something in the cache was causing the error to throw when it shouldn’t (now that the rewards claim has properly failed).
So you don’t throw gas at useless transactions…It may be good to note that 0x0051ccba is the method for claims (you don’t need this)
0x9e2c8a5b is the method for withdrawal (you want this)
Good luck. I’m gonna go to work.
thanks man, will try that
if it doesn't work let us know so we can open a private thread
your a legend!
it worked something so simple. sorry for wasting everyones time. Very grateful you helped me.
Hi gents, since a week or two I get a 'Network error' on the Illuvium page. It seems to be a problem with the oracle prices, since it is showing ILV price with 0. So actually dashboard and overview is not working, which is terrible (I'm a whale ;-))
Is there any known bug already?! Thx
what error appears exactly?
It just shows a red pop-up message 'Network error'. How can i post a screenshot?
#🚨❗〕report-scammers is one place. Or send it in a dm to a moderator
Have you tried clearing your browser cache and restarting it yet?
Jep, Cache cleared (Chrome) and restartet my Mac… I will post it on Report scammers
@slate pulsar Staking Rewards come in the form of ILV or sILV2-- your choice.
ILV is our governance token which gives you access to staking, of course! ILV is not required to play the game.
sILV2 is a token which can be spent in the Illuvium game, instead of spending ETH. sILV2 can also be used within the Illuvium ecosystem minting events such as the Land sales and Illuvitar sales 🙂
Hey Captain-- let me get a private thread started and we can try to sort it out 👍
I am experiencing the same issue as you. i get Network error, so no values show up.
Do you have yours fixed and how
Not yet
@final steppe Is there a way around this?
That's something we're still looking into. Going to see if I could have a dev look into this as well... but they're likely done for the day so we can continue it tomorrow.
Alright thanks
Captain Mirk mentioned that it's just the Overview, Dashboard, and Staking tabs which are not showing values. But they can still see Rewards and Vesting values.... is this the same for you too?
Yea. No values shows up
Just on those 1st 3 tabs though, right?
And are you on PC or Mac?
anything we need to know or make in terms of V2 staking because of the ETH fork? What happens if we take it out after vesting and want to make ETH and ILV back out of them again?
In practice, nothing will change with the ETH fork, to have the ILV and ETH of the LP token, just withdraw it and undo the liquidity on sushiswap
I have been meaning to ask about this. Practically speaking will there be a new and separate liquidity pool created after the fork? If so what happens to eth that is hypothetical locked in the staking contract for another year?
The contracts will not be changed in the fork, they will only be duplicated, in practice you will have a contract in vesting in the ETH POW and one in the ETH POS, only that the protocols will not have support for the duplicate tokens, when the vesting in the POW ends you will not will have a valid ILV to withdraw on sushiswap, only the POS ILV will be recognized
OK, just to clarify. If (hypothetically) I have 1 year lock up on POW eth-ilv on sushi there will be a duplicate smart contract created with the POS-ilv in it and both will accrue/reflect staking rewards and when it comes to removing liquidity at the end of the year I can only pull ilv out of the POS contract?
Could you refer to any write ups or videos on this topic as well.
Thanks
The cuase for concern St the moment is that I have eth-ilv sitting in the contract after the full 1 year lockup and just want to be clear if I need to pull out and re stake once the merge comes and if this could potentially impact something like the forge idea that was floated a while back. Mainly there was talk of the time in the contract effecting outcomes ect.
This tweet has a link to a write-up by the ethereum.org team
Cheers
In practice… nothing is going to change for ethereum network users. Only pow miners and formerly eth2.0 stakers.
Started up a private thread for you as well, just in case your issue differs from Captain Mirks 👍
Just want to pop in and thank the team. Yesterday I had a SLP withdrawal issue and you guys were all super helpful. I felt stupid that I had not tried clearing my cache in chrome. Really appreciate everyone sticking with me until it was resolved.
But we then receive the old ETH back and this might be worth nothing then. And while in contract for staking we don't receive the new ETH after fork equal the amount of old ETH we have in the pools as far as I know
That's my knowledge so far in terms of the fork. If it will be different let me know 🙂
Is it correct that, assuming the price of ethpow will trend towards zero over time, and my SLP unlocks in the next 6 months, I might be experiencing significant impermanent loss when I pull liquidity from the ethpow / ILV pool?
Or will I be able to withdraw ethpos from the pool? Thanks
The contract will be doubled, if sushiswap supports the existing LP tokens in the POW in theory the imperment loss would be very large indeed
But in the POS network nothing changes
Unless you somehow manage to find some crazy broken wallet that tries to interact with the old, dead, degraded pow network you will never touch any of the pow stuff again.
Ok great, thanks for the clarification. So if I understand correctly, an eth pos / ilv pos pool will be created such that when I redeem my SLP pow tokens following their unlock, I will receive eth pos and ilv pos tokens.
When the network has forked the tokens that will be recognized will be from the POS network, the duplicate tokens to the POW network will have no value (at least not the ILV) as for the ETH POW only time will tell.
Basically, nothing will change for the POS network, as for the POW network, each case will have to be analyzed individually to know if the DEX will join the POW network or not.
good day all
i have these 3 ilv staked entries available to withdraw (completed 12 months vesting). I need to withdraw and stake again right?
or will it automatically accrue rewards like SLP if left there?
They will continue to accrue rewards if you leave them in. You can withdraw and restake, but you don't have to.
thank you for help 🙂
hy all
trying to claim some vested rewards getting some error : cant estimate gas ; transaction might fail
am I doing something wrong ?
Make sure to clear cache, change the browser if you have to, add enough amount of gas and try again. Also, if using a Ledger, make sure blind signing is on
Do you guys normally claim silv2 or ILV?
That depends on what you are planning to do. Eveyone's plans differ than others
silv2 is for only in game use right?
Yeah, you can spend it in-game instead of spending your ETH. sILV2 can also be spent in the Illuvium minting events... like land sales and Illuvitar sales.
No staking is available with sILV2 so you cannot receive rewards such as RevDis. So if you're interested in earning more rewards, then ILV is the token for that.
Since Landsale i only claim ILV,so when they unlock we are back above 2k for Ilv
Simple
Hello you guys, I hope everyone is doing great. I may be repeating a question here, but do we know if we need to do anything pre-merge? Thanks !
Hey Comrade! Nope, you don't need to do anything before the merge 🙂
Much appreciate it! 🤘🏻
You never claimed?
Multiverse is saying these rewards were claimed over 12 months ago as ILV and have now finished vesting and are eligible for withdrawal.
yes
Hi y’all. I’m trying to stake ilv from my hardware trezor wallet. I’m running into issue’s with approving the wallet. The wallet is connected, and no pop up blocker is set. I’m getting an “approve ilv spend” window with a red exclamation mark? If i click the link on that it sends me to etherscan.io that gives an unexpected error? Any suggestions? I’m pretty new to this. Cheers, T.
Hey. When you try to stake for the first time, you will be required to approve the token (literally allowing ILV staking pool to have access to the tokens in your wallet) and then you will be required to do a second TX where you actually stake the token., It shouldn't send you to Etherscan.io though.
Also don't take DMs from anybody. They are scams and will steal your funds and compromise your wallet
got staking rewards unlocked now. Do I need to withdraw them and re-stake if i still want the added weighting?
Your unlocked deposits continue earning at the same weight they had when unlocked. There is no need to withdraw.
Hi. Same question. I have SLP unlocked from staking a year ago. No need to withdraw/re-stake to make it V2? And it will still earn at 2.0 weight? But for example if I wanted to withdraw it to add SLP, do I choose ILV and get ILV/ETH? Thank you.
If you have a weight 2 already and wanna stay staked, just leave it staked and it will incure rewards. No need to withdraw. You can always add more on top of your stakes
Thank you! 🙂
If you deposited SLP into the eth/ILV pool then when it’s having you choose ILV or sILV2 then it’s talking about what type of REWARDS you want to claim. The deposit will not become ILV. If you withdraw you will simply get the SLP toke a you deposited.
It’s important to CLAIM your rewards at some point though. Because unless you claim them they never start the 12 month vesting period.
Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:
- When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
- You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
- If you claim sILV2 you have it unlocked right away (sILV2 is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
- If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
- New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
Ah. The ask for ILV or sILV when withdrawing SLP is weird. I also thought that I should get my SLP back and thanks for clarifying. I always claim my rewards when they become >= 1 ILV. Thank you!
big brain ser
wondering if anyone has encountered this error when attempting to stake SLP? I have cleared cookies and still get the error
do i need to claim any outstanding rewards before i can stake my SLP?
Not just the cookies but the browser cache.
You should not need to. But it has helped people sometimes.
ok
so here is what i have tried.
- doubled checked i ledger is working fine and sent an eth transaction
-cleared the cache and history files.
-tried using a different browser to firefox. tried crome.
-set up a new metamask and connected my wallet and redid the process.
all having the same pop up. any other suggestions?
also claimed my outstanding rewards
so this may be related. When I select hardware wallet to connect the only option is Trezor. For some reason, the dashboard is not giving the option for my ledger. How do I get my dashboard to recognize my ledger or give me the option to select?
Use metamask hardware integration to use the ledger wallet.
So you are actually connecting using metamask
yes, the thing is i staked SLP a few days ago with the same wallet & metamask. My ledger wallet is connected to metamask. so frustrating
have just tried the following.
- brand new laptop never had crypto transactions
-downloaded metamask
-connected to illuvium dashboard showing my current staking.
-test my ledger for a transaction sending eth.
-imported SLP address to my metamask and shows the 5.44 SLP balance.
After all this, I am still reading the same failed transaction. Cant think of anything else i can try.
Also on this new laptop i checked to connect my hardware wallet on the illuvium dashboard and only trezor popped up, no ledger.
I think its a problem with the UI. I transferred a little SLP to my trezor and proceed to stake with no issues at all.
Guys can someone help me? Is a bit I’m not following the channel: there was any changes regarding rewards claimed in ILV? I claimed 5 ILV in April I suppose them to be stacked for 1 year, but now they disappeared on the vesting page. What happened?
Are you sure you are logged in on your crypto wallet? Might want to also try posting in #❓❗〕community-help
If I lock into ILV / Eth pool for 12 months, is the ILV reward payout locked in for the initial lockin amount (93% right now) for the full 12 months?
I think it's variable but don't quote me on that.
100%
The rate is variable
APY changes as time passes and reward distribution drops every 2 weeks
can we claim rewards all together or do i need to claim one by oen>?
you can claim the rewards of the two pools together
i cant claim all at once the vested ones?
Hey there-- yes, you can! You just need to select the checkboxes that are next to the withdraw button 🙂 You can check all 5 boxes that are showing there ✅
I staked 5 ILV back in November into the core pool, weren’t stakers supposed to receive some revenue distribution from the initial land sale?
on the stake website, in the "dashboard" tab you can see the RevDis earned by your stake
Thanks I’ll check when I get home to my desktop
when i put the checkmark they disapear
where is the claim button after i put the checkmarks?
There should be a Withdraw button at the bottom of the page now.
It would look like this ⏬
tyty have seen it
I really wana get some ilv and stake
Let’s not pressure anyone into doing anything
Ill buy 20 ilv if you buy me another 10😫😫😫😫
Jk but I definitely am hoping market crashes a bit more
hey guys, I want to claim some of my staking rewards, and I want to sent max gas to 3 gwei, I don't mind if it takes 3 days to go thru, what am I able to set my maximum gas limit to? to avoid getting a failed timed out transaction
I wouldn’t advise setting gas at 3 when gas is at 5. You’ll be looking to save a couple of cents. Any changes in gas might cuz it to fail
Hello, I would like to unstake LINK but I cannot find the page
How can I unstake LINK on Illuvium?
hey. You can follow this and withdraw from the contract #🥩〕staking message
Also don't take DMs. They are scams
TY!!!
Thank you @cunning perch that's greatly helpful and thanks for the heads up as well!!

Hey, @cunning perch @barren vector Do you know what are :
_depositId,
_amount,
_useSILV
and at where can I find the figures by any chane?😭 I'm checking a transaction when I staked LINK on etherscan tho...
- deposit id is the order of the deposit starting at 0, so if it's the first deposit id 0, second deposit id is 1, and so on
- amount of the number of tokens multiplied by the LINK token number of decimals
3.useSILV should be = false
Thank you very much, I realized I don't have enough ETH for gas
Will try later... Thank you very much , Arash!!
Happy to help 🙂
Any idea why my staking dashboard isnt loading? i have my wallet connected and it's in a perpetual state of loading...
Have you cleared your browser cache and restarted your browser?
What browser are you using?
What wallet are you using?
metamask
Is it connecting properly to the other tabs of the dapp?
I just had to reconnect my wallet.
like to the staking, rewards, and vesting tabs? no...
@final steppe I’ve gotta go. Can you keep on this?
Hmm, seems to be working for me at the moment... just tried on Chrome
What is it that tried here, exactly?
Works for me on Chrome as well
Just want to make sure...
Thanks guys. Later.
cleared cache, updated chrome, closed and reopened chrome, reconnected my mm and still not loading
I assume you've tried just refreshing the staking site several times as well? (I've had a similar issue in the past and refreshing sometimes made things work). But then might I suggest a reboot of your PC as well... just to be sure we have our initial bases covered before we dive further into it?
We can get a private thread started if rebooting your PC doesn't solve it 👍
Also if nothing worked, change the browser. what doesn't wok for me on Chrome, usually works on FireFox.
Are you using the translate option in Chrome?
Translating the page also generates those types of problems sometimes

Translate is turned on, but not for a specific language. Restarting didnt help.
Change the browser. Might help.
So for this issue-- does turning off Translate help? Or is there another solution if Translate is generating the issues?
Just don't translate the page, use the regular English default option
Ahh, gotcha 👍 Thanks, Tholky!
i dont have my seed phrase with me rn so ill have to try it when i get home
Alright, sounds good. I'll get a private thread started so we can revisit this later-- you'll see it pop up under #🥩〕staking in the channel list (so don't trust any DMs you receive!)
Do I need to do anything about the upcoming merge and my SLP?
no action is needed
TY
will the transfer feature (move a staked position to another wallet) still be released ? if yes, will v1 LP positions be supported ? if yes, will the LP position be a v1 or v2 in the destination wallet if it is a v1 in the source wallet ?
Hey. V1 positions will never have access to transfer feature unfortunately. Contracts are immutable, meaning they can’t be changed or edited and since V1 doesn’t have that option, it never will. Only stakes that are made through a totally new wallet on V2 will have access to it.
ok. got it
Cool good to know :p
I was curious about this also. All erc tokens that we had staked and locked into different contracts were also accounted for? (Not just for ILV but in general) I was trying to find some info on this earlier but didn’t find much.
Are the gas fees less now the ethereum merge is done?
Merge makes mining ETH more electricity-friendly in simple terms. This can help you #💰〕token message
Thank you
Is there an issue with the Vesting tab? I cannot see my positions
However, I can see the total staked in Dashboard
another thing I wanted to ask as I can't remember now is v1 vs v2 staking. Is there any advantage? I do want to change wallet but transfer is not available for v1 staking. Will I lose perks if I unstake my v1 position and re-stake it on a different wallet as v2?
@eager lynx hey. For the first one, make sure to clear cache, update the browser or even change it (sometimes happens). Let me know if it did that fix it.
For the second one, V1 stakes (even if upgraded to V2) woll never have the transfer feature available to them. Only those who stake directly on V2 with a new wallet with 0 V1 history will have the option available to them.
If you want to stake directly on V2, you’ll have to use a totally new wallet, which means withdrawing, which means losing your current weight.
Thanks the video is very helpful!!
You are very welcome 🙂
After reading this I also lost the ability to see my staked ILV so kinda freaked out. I tried on a different browser and saw it again. However, the Vesting tab does not display all my deposits/claims
Do you have any unlocked stakes? You mean you can see some but not others?
I can see nothing. Yes, I had some unlocked as well as some locked from my last claim a couple of months ago
So it shows nothing (whether locked/unlocked) right? Give me 30 mins to get home and I’ll make a private thread and we go through it together. Meanwhile don’t take DMs. They are all scams.
Correct. No worries. I just wanted to know if it was a known bug
I’ll check asap
It might be me or it might be a bug with connecting the wallet. I do not know if the webapp had an update recently but didn't experience this before.
I can see my Vesting locks/unlocks. What I did realise is the application didn't think my wallet was connected after going from Dashboard to Vesting. I had to refresh the page and connect the wallet again. The same happened when I went from Vesting to Dashboard as I lost my Dashboard after managing to get my Vesting tab working 😄
Oh it was a connection error then. All is good now?
🙂
Hi guys
I need your help ^^
I can't withdraw my SLP. When I try to withdraw, there are two steps to validate. The first is to withdraw the rewards, it works. The second step, I can't validate the transaction. I do have ETH for gas.
My wallet is CryptoCom Defi Wallet.
Love you 🙂
Hello! i have same problem Dashboard $0.00 . Vesting not have everything... Reload browser cash and change ISP no help 😦
I did open a new Chrome instance and refreshed the page when the data was not appearing
as mentioned, to me it looks like a bug connecting with the wallet as the app thinks the wallet is not connected although it appears as connected on the top right
i try this not help
maybe Arash can help
Have you tried clearing the browser's cache and cookies and restarting it?
Do you see any message or warning when you try to do the operation?
yes and i try Chrome and Firefox browser
which wallet are you using?
if i use home ISP no have errors. if try VPN Have Network Error
Metamask
After Ethereum Merge start this problem. Before more 1 year never have problems
now can see only Pending Rewards 11.09 ILV , another all 0
Looks like we're having a problem with the UI at the moment, we'll pass it on to the team so they can come up with a solution
Thank you guys
Yes everything is ok. I use an Iphone with the Crypto. com wallet app.
I tried several times several months apart.
No error messagenothing happens when i click confirm
the second signature appears and there is no way for you to confirm it through the wallet, is that it?
Yes sir, absolutely
@cunning perch had a similar problem with the Crypto.com wallet?
hmm, I'm not sure about Crtypto.com wallet tbh. It is weird cuz even I can't see anything in the vesting tab. Probably a UI issue.
maybe it affected the withdrawal function too?
Maybe?! idk. The Dashboard shows everything, but the vesting tab is empty and if all of us are experiencing it, it's probably a UI issue. From my side, I know whatever is there is locked.
same here

I pinged Rich. Let's wait for an answer from the team.
yep
Working fine for me, I refreshed it and now it shows everything
So you gotta connect your wallet, then refresh the page while staying connected. It works @torn arch everything should show there
try this and see if it works @sinful kayak
I have already tried to refresh the web page on the site during the second signature. Nothing is happening. Nothing still happens when I want to validate on my app Crypto. com 😦
Hmm, Let me make a Thread and we go through it together with the CM and the Mods.
Its good ! I installed the Chrome extension from Crypto.com and it works. ❤️
Merci beaucoup guys
Thank you sooo much @candid kettle 👍
Hi does anyone remember how to convert ETH directly into SLP through Zapfi?
I believe there is no pool of LP tokens
Hmm I believe someone said something about a way to convert directly so we didn't have to do 2 transactions. Okay, if someone knows please lmk xD
🤔
Moved over from #💬〕general 🙂
There was a necessary "upgrade" required from Staking V1 to Staking V2 at the end of March to continue receiving rewards. Do you recall doing this upgrade as well? @spiral badger
yes i upgraded i believe so
Update:
i've staked the 2 ILV tokens for a year and have 0.16ILV pending rewards and revenue distribution of 0.02ILV is this correct or am i missing something..
@final steppe | Illuvimod
I staked on ILV pool main site and shifted into staking 2
And i found another 0.33197sILV2 in my wallet
The APY for the ILV pool around this time last year was around 70%, I believe. Keep in mind the APY has been decreasing over time to the point where it is now which is around 10-11% and the ILV token price has also dropped to where it is now... so getting around 0.5 tokens in rewards seems about right if you have not added any additional tokens to your staked balance, imo.
What are the tokens used for? New here and looking into staking. Also is there a min you need to stake? 🙂
The #❓〕faq has a pretty good rundown on what the tokens are for.
Theres no minimum to stake.
Thank you!
!ilv
ILV is not needed for gameplay in any way. Instead, it has three main functions:
Governance:
Together, we have the power to shape the future of Illuvium through our community collaboration on game improvement proposals and electing the initial model of governance, the Illuvinati Council.
Liquidity Mining:
Here, you will gain more ILV (or sILV). Additional ILV will increase your voting power in governance & increase your share of vault distributions.
Vault Distributions:
When you stake ILV, you share in Illuvium's success and earn a passive income of additional ILV, funded through in-game purchases and fees. Vault distributions will only be available from sales once the game and Illuvidex launch.
!staking
When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:
- Acquire either ILV or Sushi LP tokens.
- Go to the official Staking App.
- Enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired.
- Decide your lock duration. The longer the lock, the higher the weight.
- After approving the contract, confirm the staking of the desired tokens.
Thank you!
guys has anyone finished their locking period of their staking? if so do you have to restake in order to continue getting you ilv rewards or can you just leave your lp unlocked and still get the rewards?
even after the lock period ends, the tokens continue to receive rewards and are eligible for revdis with the initial weight, no need to re-stake
Really? That's perfect! Thx!
Hello. Can I talk about scam with a mod pls?
Whats the scam? So i can watch out as well
Metamask hack
Thanks
oh i haven't added any
but thanks for the reply.
Yo all hows it going
Does the APR on the dashboard factors in the fortnightly decrease in yield %?
No
Can someone here assist me in understanding how revenue distributions will play out? I have had my SLP tokens locked for 1 year and have since withdrawn them. I still have a large amount of vesting rewards.
Do these vesting rewards still attract revenue distributions?
I’d use this spreadsheet if you want that data. #🥩〕staking message
Is there an easy way to check the ballpark annual total yield % with fortnightly decrease if I start staking now?
EDIT: Okie thanks. Will check the sheet.
They are eligible for revdis. Yes
I am trying to understand how the revenue distributions get allocated. Not sure if there is a sheet or any info on this?
It’s possible you have earned some revdis and it’s sitting waiting for you to claim it.
Obviously revenue distribution will be huge when the game launches so want to set my self up well for that. (I already claimed some rev distribution).
All the ILV tokens to be distributed as revdis are divided between the different eligible pools based on how much ILV is in each of those pools. Then within each pool token weight determines how much each staked ILV receives.
thanks for taking the time to talk through this.
There’s like 6m-7m ILV tokens staked.
IlV that is part of staked eth/ILV SLP tokens are eligible for revdis.
So all of my rewards are now locked in vesting phase (with maturity between 5 - 300ish days). These still carry weight and I am getting rewarded in ILV due to the 2.0 weighting.
My ILV/ETH deposit has been withdrawn. It seems the vesting rewards still attract a revdis?
And vesting reward tokens. And vesting seed/preseed/team/treasury tokens.
Yes
Vesting rewards have 2x weight.
Interesting - I guess one thing to consider is that SILV2 will gain more parity with ILV once the game launches. Which will reduce the lockup requirement if you are restaked? Am i on the right track?
Even fully vested tokens that are unlocked are eligible and maintain their weight. Until withdrawn.
Nice so I can just hold my rewards and not claim to keep earning?
Not withdraw. We use the term claim to mark the point at which the vesting period starts.
Yes sorry I mean not withdraw. Fuck I probably should of left my ILV/ETH pair in their as well.
Well maybe. It could have kept earning as well.
So with the 2.0 weight isn't that a 100% APR?
Not sure what you mean by lockup requirement
Just that if I stake more I can claim in SILV which can be sold on the market straight away.
I think it’s closer to like 90% for 2x weight in the eth/ILV pool at the moment.
Seems to make a lot of sense to be staked prior to game launch to attract the revenue distribution. Thanks for taking the time mate.
Yeah
sorry dude final question. In theory would the ILV/ETH SLP pool carry more weight in revenue distributions at a 1 year lock vs a 1 month lock for example.
Would it attract a higher revenue distributions than those locked in the 1 month ILV/ETH pool.
Yes. That 12 month lockup gives 2x weight. And 1 month lockup is like 1x.
hi
why im not getting rev dis anymore? since last time (10 days)
i have in booth pools staking slp for 1 year and ilv for 1 month
Hi guys, the Pending Rewards and Revenue Distribution do not have expiry period right? I intend to claim only when needed
Hey. There is no RevDis atm. Land RevDis has been distributed already. Wait until Illuvatars
Pending rewards will stay pending as long as you don't claim them. RevDis lives as long as the platform generates revenue
Hi I went on to the website to check on my Chainlink I staked/pool and I can’t find it?
Hi as those were flash pools from a while ago they are not in the UI atm. I'm pretty sure you have to unstake through the contract
#🥩〕staking message
Is there any contract method where i can check amount of SLP in my locked stakings?
getStake returns execution reverted if stake is locked
In the "Vesting" tab you will find your staked LP tokens and claimed rewards
Yeah i know, but i would like to obtain it via contract call. On UI there is rounded value and i would like to make use of it in my scripts and dont want to scrape UI
I suspect _amount is the one you are looking for. But am not certain
Yikes. That function doesn’t seem to be part of the SLP contract.
Oh I had been looking in the write section. And not the read section…
_balanceOf should do it. You’ll need to input your address and then you’ll get the data you need.
https://etherscan.io/address/0xe98477bdc16126bb0877c6e3882e3edd72571cc2#readProxyContract#F1
Hey! I found it, it's in a website called Zerion.
Hello guys. Hope everyone is having a good day. I have a quick question. When my vested period is done and I can unstake my SLP token. Can I just move the SLP or I have to go through sushiswap ?
Hey Comrade! Hope you're having a good day as well 🙂
So this depends on what you're trying to do. Once your SLP unlocks, you can withdraw it from the Illuvium Staking site so it is in your wallet... and then you are able to send that SLP to a different wallet, if that's what you mean by "move the SLP"
But if you're trying to get your ETH and ILV tokens back, then you would need to go through SushiSwap to basically return your SLP tokens and withdraw your liquidity.
@final steppe That is awesome sir. Thanks!
but i trust y
Hello ! I have a question ! how can I get SLP ?
- Stake the SLP tokens through the Illuvium Staking App and set your lock period.

here is some more info about staking as well Staking info
#🥩〕staking message
When you withdraw SLP do you get 50/50 (ETH/ILV) back at 100%?
I'm not doing this, but I remember hearing 80% once when talking about something to do with staking and never quite figured out what was being discussed
Hey. Nope. you might get different proportions based on how much IL your stake has faced that is if I understood your Q correctly
80% was the rewards that go to SLP pool and 20 to ILV ppol.
you will get 50/50 ILV/ETH but it will be a different 50/50 than when you put it in because values have changed
Roger, it's 1 for 1? You stake an ilv and you stake an eth, you get an ilv and eth for whatever the price is?
Oh no no. You stake for example $100 ILV + $100 ETH. not 1 ETH and 1 ILV
I think I understand what you are saying, we might be a little mixed in our explanation.
I might have understood you differently then. 🙂
I appreciate nonetheless! 🙏
Hey guys. I staked my 1 ILV back in December/January from my Coinbase. I went to look for it now and it shows nothing. I know that there was a staking V2 that came out and I just never had time to do anything about it having had a new baby And I’m just now getting around to trying to figure this out. Any help?
on the stake site there is a button to update to V2, as soon as you update the option to claim rewards will appear and after that you will see your rewards and stake in the "Vesting" tab
It shows my balance as 0.00 ILV when I initially staked 1.1 ILV. Any idea how to correct this?
If you haven't already tried this, clear your cache. Double check the correct wallet is connected and try refreshing the page multiple times.... there are times when it doesn't load fully. Also be sure you're on the Ethereum mainnet as well.
Thank you. I’ll give that a shot
Do you know if this can be done in the Coinbase mobile app? Or do I need to do it on a laptop?
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure about the Coinbase app. I always recommend a computer browser for DeFi transactions myself.
I’ll try that out. Thank you
ILV successfully rescued. Thank you for your help.
When I finish the unlock period,
Can I select multiple withdraws at a time on the VESTING page?
Yea
trying to understand apr and apy in the staking page. how come there is apr and apy in the staking page? what is the difference. as far as i know. apr is for staking directly while apy is for yield. am i correct?
I plan on re-staking, will I get the same APR?
You dont have to restake, you will still earn if you dont collect
Ooooo, that's good. Thank you G 🙏🏻
As said above if you don't withdraw your unlock deposit it will keep earning yield according to it's current weight. APR depends on the weight that depends on the lock period
Roger that, bless your heart haha
Yeah i meant withdraw, offcourse you can still collect rewards
You can however decide to stake for a longer period to gain a higher weight
WHHHAAAT?
But then it will relock for that period
For me you can withdraw and re-stake the same deposit for 2 reasons on V1.
- You want a higher weight
- You want to change your wallet (going from hot to cold)
What i mean is say you have staked for 6 months now, you have a lower weight then if you woudve staked for a year. If you already staked for a year dont do anything. If less than a year you have to consider yourself what to do
@pure eagle @cinder escarp Word on it all. Good information G's. I'm long-term vision on this. I did a few stakes with a shorter time horizon to test the effects. This is all good to know. Thank you!
So my unlocked tokens are on v1 at a 2x weight. Is there any reason to unstake and move to v2?
Already at max weighting...it's just on the 1st layer.
no need to unstake, even after the lock period ends the tokens continue to receive rewards and eligible for revdis with the initial weight
Is there ever a time when V1 will cease to exist?
It will not cease to exist, V2 only reads V1 , acting as another layer for the next stakes
That makes sense. Thanks for the help.
Can someone tell me what the aprs current are? :)
10.27 and 87.47
Ty fraggy
The staking options are not on the website for me have they been taken down
Try clearing the cache, updating your browser, or changing it if you have to.
I saw that ILV is now on Binance. If I buy it there can I send it directly to my Meta mask for staking or does it need to be bridged from Binance chain the Eth chain
ILV has been on Binance.com since last September as far as i remeber. You can buy on Binance, send directly in ETH mainnet to MM and stake in ILV website #🔗〕helpful-links (there is no bridging and no other network. DMs are scams)
Just be sure to withdraw from binance as erc20 not the bep20 option they insist on giving.
Thanks for both responses. I think it was only recently added to Binance US.
@candid kettle are you still on?

No worries. It's the same thing for Binance.US
stake 1.4 slp or 10 ilv at this point? 87% and dropping, i think 10 ILV?
if its 82% im at 9.234 < 10 but i still have the eth., otherwise 11 ILV.. guess SLP is still ok, but game will launch and have revdis, does that outweight the cost of the eth...
or do i do .7slp and 5 ilv, decisions are tough today
If ILV keeps losing ground on eth, then the token split will increase your ILV exposure in the pool. I like the SLP pool for now especially while the markets are still dying. When we have a game and rev dis I will heavily allocate to the ILV pool.
I just had a thought too. Once rev dis really kicks off a lot of people will likely take their SLP out and allocate to the ILV pool. So the yield of the SLP pool could potentially go up in the future. Or is this wrong?
Hey squad, very new to the Illuvium world and have been watching this channel because I plan on dipping my feet into staking. 🍖
I'm really not well versed though, but I am curious about some of your opinions. It sounds like many of you feel ETH will continue to drop, so it's best to hold off until later to purchase ILV?
yeah it could, and also in a year ILV is probably gonna climb to couple hundred as it kinda has too, once revenue kicks in... i dont think any move right now is wrong, except not taking advantage, dont have to buy all in right now, but little here and there, dont wake up and go, I SHOULDA, cuz you can hardly lose right now IMO
no one truly knows, but when i started, i got some good advice, buy what you can regularly, its been working for me, i dont look or care, and I can't see how you can go wrong because the cost all evens out over time, my average cost per ILV was $450 just a month or two ago, buying regularly, its down to 150 now.... plus i got a huge bag of silv2, ill buy more in a couple weeks if it dips, it dips
👍🏾 I appreciate the insight
yeah, i mean over the next three years, im pretty sure ima pull out more than $150 per ILV hehe
Just be sure not to trust ANY links sent to you in a DM. #🔗〕helpful-links for anything official. And any real help will be in the discord server. Not DMs.
Yea the bear market forces you to re think your investments but I was happy to buy ILV at $500 so now it’s a massive opportunity. Seeing all the progress and actually playing the game has led me to believe this is gonna be massive. If we ever get to the market cap of axie ath, then the circulating supply won’t matter. We are killing it and getting rev dis on top. 😈🦎🚀🔥
Question my lovely friends, has there been an analysis on what the critical metric is to stop staking SLP, which has clearly the best APY and then simply hold or stake in the ILV pool. Any pinned posts or links to youtube videos would be great. Thank you.
The staking UI currently does not show my portfolio. Anyone else having that issue?
try refreshing or try using another wallet. Something similar happened to me and my portfolio /dashboard was blank(not loading up) didn’t show on SafePal and I tried Trust and it worked. Not sure which didn’t work but the other did. So you could try a different wallet and see
ah thx - that worked!
You’re welcome mate
At least partially. Half of the money is still gone... 😅
We’re all victims of this harsh bearish market💔
And the benefactors of opportunity. There is a great reference to the 'Best time to make money is during a financial bust' and still holds true. ILV with 10mill max supply is a steal at anything down at these levels imo.
Turtle beats the hare in most cases. Only 3% of day traders are profitable. For most HODL and DCA is the king of investing to profit
A lot of positive comments in this group, refreshing to read through the constructive comments.
for 1 month ILV staking, is it eligible for revdis?
lol thats what i'm thinking too
SLP was always an obvious choice, but at those prices, IDK
maybe staking SLP for 3 months, and when the game is released, switch to ILV pool?
yes but at the lowest "weight" RevDis wont really get rolling till the Overworld goes live
Yes the minimum lock period to be eligible for RevDis in both pools is 1 month. You can read all of this in IIP-18 that was approved
#📰〕governance-news message
will i get weight 1.0 ? the difference between weight 1.0 and weight 2.0 is the reward I received from revdis, for example weight 1.0 reward 10$ revdis while weight 2.0 is 10 + 10$ = 20$ ? which means 2x more ? like this ?
weight 2 gets double revdis, correct
Does anyone one know… when vesting period is up for ILV staked, if you don’t withdraw, do you continue to get rewards?
Yes, you do
hello
I know SLP you can withdraw is still activly staking, is this also the case for ILV rewards that are available for withdrawal?
Yes.
Fully vested and therefore unlocked ILV rewards are still earning at 2x weight.
Great, thanks.
Anybody remember the date staking ends and it's purely revdis if your staking. I'm about to buy more and don't know if I should still convert to SLP
End of 2023?
July 2024
how do u be eligible for revdis? i did the liquidity of ilv/eth
not a bad idea
gm
i have staking in this project
Any ILV that is staked is eligible for revdis. The ILV side of your eth/ILV SLP deposit is eligible
Ah okay
then how come i cant see any dollars for revdis when there was land sales today?
There was no land sale today?
land trades
We get 3% from secondary sales for revdis. This is devided to all stakers so you wouldn't even notice the revdis from 1 land plot sale. The wallet with the IMX trading fees is pinned here in this channel but I don't take any of them has been used for Revdis yet.
Maybe @last sky can get an update why. I was told this would happen automatically
ah ty
Probably time gated or just an incredibly small amount (3% of the sale price split 20k times), I'm not fully across the redivs but I'll see what i can find out. @craggy cliff quite literally wrote the book on the land sale and may be able to give an answer here
also this type of staking and land seems so much funner than traditional investing lol
What is the best staking option in y’all’s opinion?
168 ETH
10k USD
And some other dust in there so it's something
I have staking and I can unstake if i want to
My understanding is revdis is still mostly manual, and while working towards automating, for now, there's a threshold that makes sense given the effort required. Like Fraggy said, dividing across all the staked ILV, its pretty inconsequential.
You can find the ETH received from the IlluviDEX trading fees in the wallet address of this pinned message: #🥩〕staking message
So this is ETH that will eventually be used in the RevDis process... but like Deraji stated, still mostly manual. So the ETH from trading fees will continue to accumulate for now 🙂
I’m new to illuvium. Can I stake using my mobile iPhone? I’m trying to connect my MetaMask wallet and nothing is happening
Please in the future refrain from asking the same question in different channels 👉 #✍〕rules
question about staking.. I staked some SLP a year ago for 12 months and now that period is up. Am I going to continue getting rewards for this? Or would I need to withdraw and re-stake it? thanks in advance
also it says my ILV/ETH is in a v1 pool, not sure if that makes a difference
it is not necessary to stake again, the stake continues to yield even after the lock time is over and is eligible for revdis with the same initial weight.
As long as you don’t withdraw it then it will continue to earn.
thank you!
Im pretty sure your understanding of how the revdis is distributed over the individual ilv stake holders is flawed. The buying/convertion might be manual but automatic calculations about which person can withdraw which amount from the cookie jar are in place.
Hi everybody, got a problem: on my vestina page the ILV stacked ( coming from rewards ) just disappeared ( should be locked until april ) annone has similar issue an knows a solution? Ty
Try to refresh or even better relaunch your browser. Clear cache etc.
Yes, I understand that. My point was more the threshold to do the initial swap is the key barrier, and that for most individuals, the amount you should expect is likely inconsequential to claim relative to the amount you likely care about. For example, per $10 million in trading volume, given the fee percentage and number of staked tokens, each staked ILV at 2x weigh could expect around $0.04 in revdis.
how long are folks waiting before seeing their staking positions reflected in the dashboard / vesting schedule?
Hey cpain-- are you talking about seeing your position and rewards on the Illuvium Staking site? Mine show up after loading for a second or two... not too long.
is there a way for someone to go in and verify things went as expected? It's been about 15 minutes since I staked on the site, but I don't see it reflected on my dashboard or vesting schedule page
If it went through as expected, you should be able to see the successful transactions on Etherscan when you look up your wallet address.
If you see the transactions were successful, I recommend connecting your wallet to the Staking site and refreshing the page. You could also try clearing your browser cache prior to refreshing the Staking portal.
Thanks mate
Hey @ocean forge -- let me get a private thread created for us. It will show up under the #🥩〕staking channel in the channel list. DO NOT TRUST ANY DMs YOU RECEIVE
No mod or team member or "support" from Illuvium will DM you first.
Hi All, i was just wondering what happens to SLP when they become free but you don't exchange take them out of the pool SLP and keep them in the vesting? And i mean impermanent loss wise.
It’s still impermanent. Because you are still holding it. The SLP token price is constantly variable so the IL is constantly changing.
Regarding unlocking… it changes nothing except that you are able to withdraw that deposit if you want to. Until you withdraw the deposit it keeps earning the same as it was previously (earning at the variable apr)
So say i keep the deposit in the ecosystem or lock it up for 2 more years, the value will raise again? (assuming the market will)
I want to withdraw 4 V1 ILV staking rewards that are not vested anymore. I can do one by another, but not mark all 4 and withdraw at once. there are problems with the estimated gas. am I doing something wrong? 2 of the rewards are too little to justify 10$ in gas fees
code: 32603
well, with 3 of them it works lol - so answer needed 🙂
hmmm, okay - still need an answer. after I now withdrew 3of4 and now wnated to withdraw the last one seperate, I get the same error as mentioned above. Thanks in advance for your help
Well, it is the same as with SLP-pool. You cant withdraw unvested rewards in total as long as you have unclaimed rewards. But while on SLP you get a notification about please "claim your rewards first" on ILV-Pool, you dont receive this notification. You only get the error mentioned above. Maybe team can check it and make some improvements?
In addition: While SLP-Pool rewards seem to be pegged with the claim rewards, for the ILV-pool, it website doesn't care about what ILV is still staked. I deposited 1ILV now just for testing and voila, I have been able to withdraw the other unvested reward where I did get an error before
Hey Seikou-- thank you for your thorough analysis on this situation. The team is aware of the issue with needing to claim ILV rewards prior to trying to withdraw unlocked tokens. I know they've mentioned they are working on a fix for this and I also support the idea of getting a notification to pop up, at least. I will pass this info along to the team as well 🙂
Hey guys , could you share please a smart opinion on how would.you stake 40 ILV?
I would swap 50% to ETH. Then combine your ILV and ETH on sushiswap and lock it the SLP-pool 😉 That's what I have done 👍
SLP still 87% so I prefer it. Also the earnt ILV auto stakes (once claimed) so adds to ones ILV stake over time also. I just used Zerion.io as can do swap to ILV SLP in a single step. Just added to my SLP stake now actually 🔥
reached my staking goal today. feels awesome 😁
congrats

thanks man! super excited with all the cool stuff you guys are building! 💪
everybody is okay?
I’m good
Feeling great here
Just had a quick flick through the pinned messages and read up a little too, but I couldn't find what I was looking for so, apologies for the noob questions incoming.
I'm thinking of selling some nfts from another project and putting $2k into staking ILV. Now, I've staked a couple of ILV tokens in the normal pool since last year but I'm wanting to get into the eth/ILV pool. What I would like to know is, once I've got $1k of each & gone through the staking process... I think I can claim sILV2 instantly once it's at a decent enough stack to claim. But, what I'm unsure over is, if/when the price of both goes up and that $2k is now worth $5k, can I take some of it or all of it out instantly?
You cannot pull out the SLP (eth and ilv) until it is completely unlocked, if thats what youre asking?
Basically that's what I'm asking yeah. So, I'd lock it up for 1 year, then after that can it come out?
you had the claiming info right.
Yes after the year of lock you can pull the SLP out, you can then split it into its eth and ilv form, and then do what you please with it
Thank you 👍
At that end of the year decision, can you lock for a shorter period or is it 1 year only in the eth/ILV pool?
You can restake for a different amount of time yes, however if you leave the SLP in there at the 2x weight even once the year is up it will still accumulate 2x staking rewards and revdis
i restaked all my unlocked tokens today =]
Why though? The unlocked tokens continue to gain rewards. Was this just to renew your convictions?
Can someone explain weight to me plz
Revdis and Yield farming rewards are split among the ILV tokens multiplied by their weight.
If you have all tokens at 1 weight then there is a 10M split (yes originally. It is slightly less due to sILV2 minting)
If all tokens have a weight of 2, there is a 20M split.
Say 10% of tokens are locked with a weight of 2. this means there is a:
10M + 10% split so 11M "tokens".
If you are part of that with your, say, 10000 tokens that have a weight of 2, youd gain 10000x2 =20000/11M = 0.182% of all revdis.
Someone who had a weight of 1 with the same amount of tokens will only get: 10000/11M =0.091% of all revdis.
So simply said:
Weight determines how much revdis your tokens get compared to other tokens.
You may have to interact directly with the contract. The flashpool UI's have been removed from the staking dashboard since staking V2 was added.
I dont understand why you would want people to DM you. How ever will you get truthful information if you do that 🤷♂️
Start a DM with a mod yourself or just tell them here that you have a private issue, and they should be able to make a private thread in this discord server for you. Then they will help you out with the required steps.
(If you follow the instructions of any of the DMs that took the liberty of helping you, you have a good chance of actually being scammed. So good luck :))
if you think anything Illuvium is a scam after what happened the past year, your not really paying attention. Also don’t trust dm’s then you might get scammed.
Could someone please clarify one thing for me. Let's say year of lock passes for my ILV stake. So those ILV`s will be unlocked, that is clear. But if i at that time claim the rewards, do i have to wait for another full year for those rewards to be unlocked?
He’s probably just panicking is all
No don’t believe so
Every time you claim rewards in ILV, those specific rewards will enter a vesting time of 1 year. This will also happen when your original stake is unlocked already.
But your original stake will not re-lock because you claim rewards. And even unlocked tokens will get yield farming rewards and revdis.
that is what i understand, my original ilv's will be left unlocked. question was only for those rewards
if i would not claim reward for all this full year that the original ilv's were unlocked and click claim rewards only at that time when original ilv's were unlcoked
