It's normal for there to be a gap when there's no use case for sILV2. People can either claim their staking rewards as ILV, which is locked for 1 year, or they can claim as sILV2 and possibly sell it instantly at a loss but they have access to the liquidity.

If there is a way to spend sILV2 then it makes no sense for there to be a gap between ILV and sILV2 (maybe a slight difference to account for gas). Basically, if you have ETH, why would you spend $4000 ETH on land when you could spend $10 ETH in gas to swap $2000 worth of ETH to $4000 worth of sILV2 and buy land?

They can converge IF silv2 has utility (eg during land sale or after game is launched) AND a lot of silv2 has been burned AND whoever has started the Uniswap pool does not pull liquidity out.

As well as Official events the admins deem it eligible ( like #🎮〕illuvium-zero Land sale or Illuvitar sale )

Good question, I linked my MetaMask to a hardware wallet but with the land minted on IMX, I am not sure if it will also be protected.

If it was today, no one minted anything extra, price of ILV (in ETH) stayed same, then all silv2 in circulation could buy around 25% of all land at 100% price. Or 100% at 25%.... or 50% at 50%...

You will be making your purchase through the IlluviDEX which will be on the Illuvium website so all you need to do is have your funds in your MetaMask ETH wallet and you'll be set. Then connect on the IlluviDEX once that site is live... once the purchase is made, your land NFT will show up in your ImmutableX inventory 👍

The balancer pool mechanisms are designed to meet Fuel supply and demand. The DAO always supplies 19x player Fuel to achieve the 5% rate. Pricing rails keep the Fuel price fluctuations between +/-25% (i.e. A Fuel with 1 ETH base price - it could range between 0.75 - 1.25 ETH. This pricing is used for illustrative purposes only).

Fuel cannot be transferred to another wallet because it is only turned into an ERC-20 token when swapped in the Balancer Pool for ETH. However, we may implement a way to do this in the future.

Landowners play their T1-5 Land in the Illuvium: Zero game to build up their Land and produce fuel; They can trade their Fuel to this pool at anytime for their share of the ETH earnings

sILV2 == ILV for the land sale and in the whole ecosystem.
ImmutableX does not require any instalation. It's web based. But you need to connect to it.

My concern with owning multiple T1 Lands instead of one higher T3/T4 Land is the uncertainty of how much resource we need for scanning and/or researching. What's more is that iirc, we can spend more resource to increase the chances researching succeeding to get the BP. Oh and also the fact that fewer Element sites mean taking more time to fully upgrade the structures in lower tier Lands, which may give higher tier land a headstart.

But without numbers, it's just hard to guess the pros and the cons of owning multiple T1s vs one higher Tier land.

blueprints are not a guaranteed thing. You need to build a scanner and research Illuvial biodata. This research costs fuel and always has a chance to fail. Some people will choose to chase after BPs while others choose to farm fuel.

Yes. that is your IMX balance (the tokens you have literally sent to L2 from L1). In your case, you just aproved your sILV2 that doesn't mean you sent it to L2 🙂

I need a little help….. rushed the wallet connect…. I have my ledger set up correctly with MM as far as I know… have to sign for all sends, it works just like a regular MM…. But when I connected for the sale I just hit like sign sign sign sign …. After I realized it tells you you need to have a certain firmware and MM has to be set up a certain way etc. is there a way I can check to see if my wallet is set up correctly? I’d hate to miss out on land sale or worse get a plot of land then not be able to retrieve it from IMX……

hmmmm My MM-Ledger got connected with 0 issues. I had an issue of network connect on FireFox, but using Chrome fixed it. You might wanna change the browser if you have issues with wallets. or check if everything is updated

Ok… yeah mine did too with zero issues as well… it seems like it’s all set but then I read back through IMX connection instructions from the ILV team and they say firmware needs to be a certain version or IMX might not be able to retrieve your assets…and there’s a link to make sure MM is set up correctly so I’m just being extra careful… I think I’m all set… wallet is connected and signed through ledger…

yep, if you are REALLY REALLY REALLY worried, you can check the Ledger update through Ledger Live and reinstall (re-download) MM and the reconnect your Ledger so everything is the latest version.

3. the land is minted to L2 (Immutable X). The best way to think about it is the following

1. pop your metamask open to see any balance on L1. ETH, sILV2, whatever
2. click your wallet inside illuvidex to see your "IMX balance", aka "L2 balance"

if you only want to buy land off the auction, you only need L1 money! only look at your metamask. If you want to buy post-sale, you need "IMX balance"

I'm having trouble deciding what region to aim to get a land in. The only differences from what I understand are aesthetics of your land plot and what blueprints you are most likely to scan, right? But nothing is really released about what kinds of blueprints will come from regions?
