Whenever such a change is being considered, it usually have way more implications then just that building/effect itself. It needs to properly align with the rest of the game, with the intended target of that design etc.
We don't want to take a rushed decision on how to balance this and realized that we messed up maybe something else indirectly.

Totally understand and i wasn't really expecting just a back end value change.
But all in all, after i could say at least some appropriate amount of gameplay time since the 1st IL ZERO iteration, the Data Bank is at base a storage facility with no other utility(as long as plots are occupied with a lot of power stations at least) so it would be difficult to have game breaking changes by increasing its capacity
Again just an honest opinion - not that i know better or anything 🙂

So 1xData bank offers 5 storage space for biodata/bps
Having 5 scanners running at 100% and a few Research labs also researching means you pretty much fill up 1xData Bank every 1-2 days
Let's say you want to 'colect them all' as illuvium IS a collection game it would mean to have about 30 (if not more) data banks on your plot.

Also the upgrade to a data bank is 400 fuel which is the cost of lvl 8 Nexus - i feel that is very steep also
So imo T1s and T2s especially would not be able to keep up with the science costs (200 solon/ data bank) and not including the research costs etc

For now:

• you can't sell any assets generated on your f2p plot yet
• you can't use any assets in other Games than Zero itself yet

However, you can:

• play for Fun
• play for Airdrop missions
• play for possible future features.

Also the tokens you generate with Level ups are Account bound. If you one day decide to buy a Land you can use those tokens to Speed that Land up or buy builders there.

They were not designed to be "you only need one of these"-buildings. If you want to hold a lot of biodata, you "pay" for it in plot space.

But you could increase the efficiency bonus so it would actually being built multiple times for BP plots.
But limiting the data you are able to save and make people delete data at some point in time to make space for other data is in my opinion against the collection spirit Illuvium should bring.

Data Bank II should give you +15 slots
Data Bank III should give you +30 slots

@minor pagoda I can see now from you point of view knowing some numbers. You would basically need about 3-4 fully lvled Data Banks to store everything - which makes sense in a way ...
The issue i think comes from the player progression and the lvl 1 fuel cost. When you get to a point where you have like 1-2 scanners and labs, you are not producing enough fuel to sustain building more data banks early on -> as 200 for a lvl 1 is very steep at that point - and i'm playing on a T3 (maybe someone can manage his economy better i'm sure)

So maybe lowering a bit the lvl 1 price combined with growing the storage space a bit could be a good solution?

The blueprints I've found for instance specify 'stage 1' as well as the armour one specifying 'aeroweave' - Does this mean that those skins can only be applied to the most basic armour and drone, and wont work on anything more advanced ?

If that's true it seems quite restrictive, nobody will be using basic armour and drone so the market for skins than can only work with those will be non-existent?

That's a good question but i don't think so. Later stage blueprints are just more cosmetic/visual appealing than stage 1s ... i think you can apply a stage 1 skin to any kind of equipment you want no matter the stage.

The other interesting question is if we apply a skin to a specific armor can we then change it for a nicer/better skin?

On a side note; I really don't comprehend how they have been able to create unique skins for all illuvials at all stages; that seems like a huge huge amount of work. It must also be almost impossible to make them unique when so many illuvials share such similar colour palettes - seems like it would have been better to focus on a range of visually distinct illuvials.

You can claim when the yellow bar is close to the bumpy thing on the right side of the claim button, i usually get 1-3 depending on effi and rank. Don´t need to wait for 288h. That would take like.. 288 hours.

Hey mods. I dont mean to make this a public issie, but i dont know where else to turn. Please help. Ive been with ILV sincenthe beginning and im very frustrated after the migration completely failed and after 3 years and a LOT of money invested, im dead in the water, watching oppertunity pass by. It took 5 days to get a response that was generic and did not specifically address what i said in the support email. Ibreplied to that saying i need further help. Also cant capture any illuvials in OW because i cant connect my wallet.

Yeah, it gets tons of players to try and experience Zero, and earn some points. There is earning points accross all games. It would have been pointless to add Zero, and people seeing they need to spend $300 to get some points. At least this way, they are exposed to Zero and have experience playing it now, and maybe later in the future

With the way the game is going to evolve and change maybe this number will be raised and revenue will come from more things if the game really kicks off. It got bigger and bigger and I think this will too with more updates and fixes to the games.

Weight each one in the USD value they yield at the time of fund raise and cut the percentage accordingly. If they raise fund from another source in the future. The amount raise will be added to the POT and then rebalance the percentage again.

I believe land sale raise more than 5% of the fund raised. They should be reason enuff to rebalance the 9x or 19x issue

Hello All - I already had 2 land plots that i developed but i recently purchased a land plot that was already developed by the previous owner. some of the items like 1 of the sediment excavators, 2 solon dredges, and 1 hyperion extractor are not "actionable". they can only be inquired on. does anyone know if this is a known issue? i have searched a bit and don't see anything on this yet. thank you all

Yes and no. I don't mind complexity for the games if it adds depth. I think there are some parts (particularly in OW) that are just difficult for the sake of being difficult. Most things in Zero have made sense to me ... and even this makes sense now that I see how. There probably should be quick settings minimum, avg, and max with times to sell (like Metamask - lol).
