Those values represent the efficiency bonus that each structure gives for being within range of the structure you selected. So your Silicon converter gets a 30% bonus for being close to a Mine, a 20% bonus for a Power Station, and a -10% bonus (or a better term, a 10% penalty) for being close to another converter. I can't remember the exact amount, but it there is a bigger penalty for being close to the same converter type.

I don't know the exact calculations but I think it may be a bonus of 0.2 for each resource and 0.1 for each other building. I have 42 buildings (6 resources x 0.2 + 36 x 0.1 = 4.8) and my path bonus shows 5% which is consistent with how they have rounded in the past. I tested removing some storage building and after removing 3 of them from the path (So now 6 resources x 0.2 + 33 x 0.1 = 4.5) , my path bonus dropped to 4%, so they must round down when it is at a .5

The way you've asked this is a little confusing. Land does not get revdis, but systems are in place to ensure that even if it's not through the fuel purchase system, 5% of digital revenue will always go to land holders.

This will apply when fuel prices hit the upper rail due to not enough land production (DAO is generating/selling beyond the normal 1:19 ratio) to keep up with demand. Prices will likely be at the upper rail at launch because hopefully lots of demand and also no land will be ready now.

Sounds a little bit baseless. Land will have a market value based on the success of our products. If people are buying and using lots of fuel, that value will be higher. If people aren't, it will be lower. Unless 0 fuel is being used, supply and demand means land won't go to 0.

i guess with mentioning of testnet likely closing earlier than launch, and IZ not being implemented in testnet yet lets doubts arise it actually being ready for launch of the mainnet.
I heared it is possible testnet closing a week ish before launch, which leaves us a good week in testnet.

I hope Zero isn't released without proper testing in a wider audience than just the internal qa team.
Bugs that can occure like for example the fuel bug on the marketplace in early open beta testnet could not only have detrimental effect on economy or buyer/seller but also a potentially big negative effect on social medias.

don't think it was connected, nor do i think there was actually valuable data out of that if it was... noone sold fuel, noone used ingame marketplace, i guess also noone scanned for biodata, researched blueprints and actually tried to mint them since it was only f2p plot and noone had the progress to do so anyways.
Most were just clicking some harvesters and build a few early game buildings...

I understand that there's some anxiety around it, for sure. We just met as the IMC ~24 hours ago and got updated on progress, and it's looking like everything is on track for launch.

It's just pretty awkward when we've said quite a few times that IL:Z will be launching with Arena and OW (including passing a proposal stipulating that must be the case), and then people continue to doubt it or flat out state that it's not going to happen. If we get an update saying otherwise, y'all will be the first to know, but to the best of my knowledge everything is going to be ready.

An IIP on one hand doesn't mean too much (we also had an iip IZ starting befor mainnet launch) and on the other hand it also doesn't speed up developement process as imc members stated on other occasions.
If IZ is already in a launchable state, why it never got released for testing with a wide audience?
There was even a version on the playstore i guess that wouldn't have been too much workload to bring the latest build to all the open beta testers.
We almost at launch an besides the 1 or 2 sentences in the announcement that iz is life on testnet soon there was no info at all, and given previous delays of different products you really think it's awkward? 🙃

I'm not sure what you're looking for. If I knew there would be a delay, I'd be sharing that information. The implication being put forward is definitely awkward, that some people think there's going to be a delay that's being sneakily hidden. That's not the case, to the best of my knowledge. If people think I'm lying, or that Labs is lying, I'd prefer they be upfront about that instead of implying it. At least then we can speak about things directly. That's substantially less awkward, because we're being honest about where we stand.

Everyone is entitled to their feelings, but it's also important to acknowledge when we're making assertions based on emotion and when we're basing them off tangible information. I have a hard time making space for people's emotional perspectives if those aren't based off information. It has been quiet, and it's pretty clear people have read into that in various ways - To me it looks like the team has their heads down working hard to get us live.

I'll reiterate one final time - If I get information that Zero isn't going to be ready, getting that information to DAO membership is going to be my top priority. It would likely also be Labs top priority, based on my experience with them. The alternative, and where we currently stand, is that IL:Z will be launching with Arena and OW.

i'm not looking for anything actually.
But given no info about the state, not seeing IZ on testnet, launchtime of IZ got changed at the time iz should have launched, i guess nobody would be surprised if that happens again and in my opinion it is not surprising people getting slowly but surely negative. What you see in this channel is almost nothing, i get DM's of many landowners on a regular basis, and even we have had hard times, with delays, and johnny leaving etc... i can tell the sentiment is now an an altime low ... and that is with launch of mainnet arround the corner, and hopefully finally seing IZ live on chain.
If nobody would talk without proper information, that channel would be dead, only thing people can do is specualting about iz and people like to speculate about all kind of things.
If there were some proper info, or even a build out for testing, it could be discussed in a way it should be, but without that... speculating wins.

And with all that, seeing a council member hopping into the channel and stating it is awkward to not expect IZ launching on time... i couldn't just stay silent there... 😄

I get it, there's no undoing the past and no one can deny that there's been delays. I just hope we can go into launch with at least some optimism. Some days it seems like we'll be post-launch with everything up and running and there will still be people in here complaining that IZ isn't live.

I'm looking really forward to launch, and I know the team is too. Hopefully the community can get excited about that as well.

Emotion aside, no acknowedgement or info about a pillar in the IBG two weeks before GO LIVE time is going to raise questions. It's the lack of info and engagement by team altogether on Zero (especially since Johnny washed his hands completely) that has created this overwhelming uncertainty for landholders.

Maybe heads are down to get things ready, but having an official statement to that fact for the community seems appropriate at least.

I mean, the game can't launch without Zero so It's just a matter of when for Zero otherwise all the games have to be delayed.

As per IIP: Instead of launching Illuvium Zero before the Overworld, as previously proposed in IIP-39, all three games will be released together. Subsequent updates will introduce blueprint minting and Mega Cities, with compensatory measures to account for these delays.

Very good advice, I have been doing just that and trying to stay up to date passively. It does feel like landowners are sleepwalking to launch though, I'd have thought they would want us all hyper engaged and chomping at the bit - guess it might be a slow start 🦥

People didn't want all the delays, but now reality is sinking in that they're really going to slam Illuvium Zero into a release with the other games except this one won't have open testing on the testnet or even on a build from within the last 12 months.

I think people are just holding their breaths and hoping it's not a complete train wreck. Not trying to be negative about the situation, but realistically that's all land holders can do right now without inside info.

Neglecting to provide information to stakeholders... that's not how you run a business. that is neglect. Even if it's "hey we screwed up, we are in the process of fixing it." is better than silence.

Made this experience with guild of guardians and never want to make it again. Team of GoG doesn't give information and change things randomly xD the last update from today once more showed me how important a transparent execution is - not only before launch, but also after release.
I press both my thumbs and hope that ilv team makes it better. They didn't disappoint me until now. Only the lack of communication what works and what not and what are the next steps for ILZ is something I kinda start to miss

That's great news! As long as that's the case, it's okay if IZ comes out later and even if it has some issues initially from lack of testing. The team has been making amazing progress - each update to each game is a huge improvement. This way the games are still coming out this month and land holders still get to earn, which is way better than a delay in my book.

Absolutely agree, the progress in Overworld is amazing, in arena aswell... New forge is great, so is the new weapon system, even tho it takes some flexibility away without bonding. In arena it looks like we get a complete new mode soon with gauntlet.
Depeneds on the bugs/exploits right, if there are just some small one then it's probably fine, if there are major ones, i rather would have seen it delayed. 🙂

Since the passing of this IIP, nothing has been communication or distributed to landholders.

Landholders' investment carried ILV through the bear market and far outweighs the private investments from Venture Capitalists. Yet, 15 days out you know the state of the Zero game and you know zero revenue has been shared back with the Landholders. In any other form of business, this would be unheard of.

The previous revenue from Beyond was placed in the $5m safety pool as directly stated and defined by other previous proposals.

What happens with that $5m and when it happens is up to the council.

@vivid cipher Thanks for the clarification you are able to supply. IIP-45 was because the original intent we felt was violated. Now that it is acknowledged, I would retroactively distribute revenue if I was running the DOA. I think the DOA should include Landholders in the publishing of any financial reporting, however, that was the terms upon purchase of the land.

At the end of the day, if ILV can get adoption cranked up with the recent influencer IIP and cross-promo deals, I think it might all work out. Maybe 2-4K of the land plots will actually be managed over the next 90 days, which I hope supplies some redemptive opportunity. Then FIAT money printers make crypto enter the banana zone period again, driving outrageous NFT speculation, and I exit my "improved land." It's probably just wishful thinking on my part!

i feel the first 2 month they are going crazy fixing all bugs, exploits, errors of any kind especially with IZ which seems to go live untested and the other new introduced features (live battle ow and gauntlet mode + possible surprise features)
After that, focus will be on blueprints and podarium (i guess skin creation in general)
Than another 1-2 month to fix those bugs, exploits and errors of any kind and then we will see work on megacities.

I’ve mostly tried to keep away from commenting in the past few months and only tried to get a few simple and straightforward answers here and there, especially after the hailstorm against the community since Johnny left.
And we all know it’s all hands on deck now and the entire team Is working probably way more that they should to get the games out on time - again we appreciate them and what they’ve build so far in Arena and OW is awesome – great work guys!!

What I’m trying to say though, and without pointing fingers or anything, is that it just feels so bad with Zero. It feels like an abandoned project/lack of professionalism/ignorance whatever one would want to call it to not have 1 person in here for at least 1 hour per week sharing some updates with the community. How difficult can that be?

I don’t know the reason behind this decision, but it just feels bad. Leaves room for way too much speculation – feels like behind closed doors Zero might be a burden and no one wants to have anything to do with it.

Like someone else said before me, it’s okay even if you admit you screwed up – I think a lot of people would be happy to hear that also – at least it’s something and shows that someone has the guts to take responsibility. I for one would be the 1st to reply and say ‘hey it’s okay I get it no worries – we all do mistakes and I know you’ll do your best to solve things’!

to me that's not even the big loss... it's more of the additional time needed to build all that buildings up for nothing.

Idk if the fuel airdrops are more or less than retroactive Beyond sales would have been, if they'd been made in fuel. But given another one is coming up pre launch this month, I feel a bit better. 1st- initial sales/mints of beyond disks (paid for in eth)
2nd- trading fees (these fees are Illuvium’s creator royalties)

All of this has been sent to the imx revenue address pinned in #💰〕token

Over time that revenue has accumulated and eventually reached the amounts needed to fill the safety pool of $5m. After which time the balance of the revenue address was bridged to the DAO treasury wallet (also pinned on #💰〕token ).

Since the last withdrawal of that revenue there has continued to be an accrual of revenue in the imx revenue wallet.

I’d recommend using immutascan on that wallet to filter by withdrawals

the production and storage values each lvl of that building are weired. they make no sense. all over the board. my land has silicon landmark.

  • why my storage capacity for solon is higher than crypton and hyperion when all storages have the same lvl?
  • on info of production buildings you see the amount that is produced when you start "farming". on upgrade you see what you will get next lvl. but the old value plus the additional is not the same as the shown new total amount. simple example:
    • production 1.000.
    • raised by 3.000 on upgrade
    • new amount produced: 5.000
    • so it doesnt match. it is all over the board for producing buildings. sometimes it's correct. but most of the time its not.
  • converters of normal materials: even after upgrade the passive producion stays at a 3min timer. it should grow with the duration a normal convert of a material takes.

power consumption has an issue as well. I had 2.500 power and some buildings beside. some buildings to the north, where was another additional power station and 2 buildings to the south where has been no addition power stations. so the north ones can take power from 2 power stations. the buildings on the south only had one power station that is shared with north buildings. one of the south buildings stopped producing because of lack of power. but there clearly was more than enough power from the t4 power station.
i moved power stations around. but nothing helped. i can promise all buildings were at range to receive power. it seems, that consuming buildings take power from maybe the most close power station and ignore the other. so the north buildings took power from the power station that was in center and not from the one that was at north. then there was not enough power left from the center power station to give power to the south buildings.

  • power delivery needs to be more clever.
  • also we need to be able to shut down a building when suddenly you don't have enough power supply. we need to be able to control this when for example an upgrade of a power station takes 12 hours or more in higher levels. I dont want to move buildings out of that area to keep the rest running.

I was able to get my land plot to show up along side the f2p plot on the last version when it was on PC. Not sure if that was setup different but I cant seem to find a way to do it now through the passport login. I must have been able to link my wallet directly to it before
