Is there a tentative date for blueprint minting? Just started playing zero again so I'm out of the loop.
So I built 3 scanners on my T1 land. They are running at 100 percent. They are all seperated pretty far away from each other and other buildings. How can I get them up to the 150 percent? I am not sure what I am missing to get them up?
Is 3 scanners too many for T1 land?
Not known yet
Max efficiency for Scanners is 100%
oh ok.....I've been scanning with x3 scanners for about 2.5 weeks and have gotten no blue prints. Went pretty quick to get all illuvials but now I haven't gotten one single biodate or blue print in 1.5 weeks of trying everyday
You need to research your biodata in mat labs in Order to get BP's
And... There are no illuvials in IZ 🙃
It's a 2 min read, highly recommend you reading it.
So once you have all 5 illuvials can you just sell and get rid of scanners then?
If you mean illuvial-biodata, yes you could.
Keep in mind, we are in Beta, we are a dao... Stuff can Change... Open Beta Launch could get delayed and IZ content added.
tt
wen land
Wen mintting?
thinking about renting my plots for someone to play when public beta launched. what % of profit would be adequate to share between me and a scholar?
Correct!
When is the open beta for ilv zero?
That would depend on different factors
Should be Sometime before the end of 2023. But no date has been set yet
What was your level when reaching 15 blueprints?
First biodata on my Halcyon Sea plot. Surprise, surprise, it's an Atlas!
Archie is last
Suggestion: Auto-order the blueprints so it is a bit more overviewable what you have and what you are still lacking.
hi guys... may i know where we are on the update of ilz? are we on the beta / alpha or what?.
still in alpha season 1
Suggestion: add filter to landplots list
beta is expected for Q4 this year, so another 1,5 months at minimum
in this stage, we can own the BP we get right? or not? and it will be on another set of update?
yes, any blueprints we find now we will get a chance to mint (which turns them into NFTs, that we get to keep)
this bp will be on IMX l2 and not on L1
as far as we know, yes
ok great thanks vana! appreciate it
you're welcome
So minting won't cost anything? Or do I need to make sure there is some eth in my IMX?
0 cost
Really need iOS support!
At the moment the plan is for this to work in webs browser (including iPhone)
is there an update in the illuvium zero application, I can't log in now @vivid cipher
Not recently
some people are complaining, having trouble logging in ,sir
Ok. You should report a bug to #❓❓〕support
Done sir
hey guys, so my hyperion extractor has 150% efficiency and its stage 4 now.
it should give me 9 hyperion per extraction, and with the efficiency boost, it results in 13.5.
but the amount you get is a rounded one. so how is that calculated? do i get a 50% change to get the 14th hyperion or anything like that?
That's how it will function in beta. But for now it just uses basic rounding. At least up to a certain point, after that it seems to always round down.
whats that point though?
I think anything above 10, but not 100% sure. Could also be based on building level, but since it's being changed I didn't put much effort into finding out.
im pretty sure im getting 16 instead of 13 or 14 though. i cant explain why
yes yes, i noticed you haha 😛
do people enjoy zero? How addictive is it
40 blueprints and counting. Only another 80 to go. 😩
Is there a list somewhere of all possible blueprints and illuvials that can be found in alpha 1?? Can't seem to find it anywhere
I do. I use it to break some monotony in my day.
Are there no blueprints higher than tier 1?? No point in upgrading our materials lab or singularity scanners??
Not in season 1, no
I do. I use it to break some monotony in my day.
When i've found all blueprints, how to convert them into nft's? Do i need to have build some strucure needed for that?
You need a Zero Point Transducer. But the minting system isn't live yet, there will be announcements when it's ready though.
Thanks, Building it now. 😉
Do you guys get the blueprints on all the lands you own? I have 9 lands, and it is such a grind on the l1 and2,..
I try, but I don't have that many lands
how many have you got?
I whish I could transport between lands already,...
I got 5. 4 are already done finding all blueprints.
nice job!
Will landowners also generate ‘income’ from Overworld players crossing their lands?
No trespassing unless fee is payed 😉 if not from the players then maybe trough fuel revenue they’ve used or something.
(Idea came up after read discussions uncertainty fuel production profitability)
is it the time to buy Land or coins
fuel and bp are sources of income for landowners.
there's no trspassing in the overworld as the ilv land only represents as land in overworld, nothing more..
land only earns from ilv zero game.
What is the average plot level you get to all 15 blueprints? is it 500? 700?
@lapis ingot t1 land 450 to 600
My last one dropped at 622 lvl (tier1)
i would buy some more land, but what makes me second guess is why is there no talk about that stuff.
It should be a no braner at this prices.
Maybe all the "youtube illuvium" guys are bought or whats going on?
I’m know zero and Overworld are two different games but but both have the same land regions. Where Zero has a detailed grid, if Overworld has the same cheographic layout as Zero you could apply a similar virtual grid (though won’t see the structures).
Anyway; relating Zero/Overworld is just an idea for additional income land owners.
@tidal badger land owners could set up attacks on other players as they navigate across the grid boobie traps haha
There still is no update saying that the zero point transducer needs to be higher than lv 1 at this point is there?
This is the last I saw:
#🎮〕illuvium-zero message
Thanks. That was the last post you had previously directed me too. I was just checking as I saw somewhere else some said lv2. Always good to hear it from Johnny.
This summer I bought more 30 lands prices 450 to 250$. Me and other colaborators are obtain more 800 blueprint now we are updating Zero Poin Transducer to 3 level.
There is a taboo topic that is not talked about and it is the issuance of tokens without permission from the SEC, this will cause problems but at the moment I do not think it is the problem.
There are people who are not willing to play the land, many bought it to speculate. Every time I buy land I analyze why it is being sold, the conclusion is that the seller is looking for liquidity to buy Beyond disks or regularly buys NFTs for other games. Particularly, yesterday before the crash I bought a land for $265, during the ETH crash you could buy land for $259. If the falls continue, there will be new sellers who will try to obtain liquidity to cover losses or take new opportunities. As more lands are played with the 15 NFTs consolidated, they will be locked lands that owners will hold until minting in December(?). A news story anticipating the minting of NFTs would trigger land purchases. There is no data on the amount of land that is being played, I think it is little of 50-60%.
Illuvium is not American, so sec shouldn't be a Problem i guess.
level 1: transfer Silicon, carbon Hydrogen, level2 transfer Solon, Hyperion and Cripton, Level 3 transfer NFT. MAYBE?
BUT he did not put any measures and there were American citizens including ILV, d!sks and lands
Maybe after open beta launch. Most likely won't happen in the alpha.
The initial plan was to have NFT minting at lv4, so we'll see.
I can't find the news now, I found it on AXS, but I assure you that I saw it and I shuddered.
Isn't 3 Max lvl?
News about what?
yes
Thank you for 2 answers!!
Well thought and explained
How do you see Land playing out in the Future?
I think if all is working smooth, this could be Diamonds.
For me its the biggest sucess so far. I think the Land sale was more then great and would have brought people into the system, cause it worked just like it should be and was a fun experience.
I am kinda sad that we couldent ride that wave.
So i am thinking about taking the great opportunity to bye 1 or 2 plots more.
I don't speak English but I understand that "to bye 1 or 2" means to say goodbye/sell one or 2 lands. At these prices ($300), it doesn't sell.
About the profitability, I don't think it is too high, The land holders only take 5% of the fuel that the players buy. A few days ago I calculated around $100 yearly for each Tier 1 plot ($0.01/unit of fuel). But the game also generates Blueprints (which I don't really know what they will be used for) that could be quoted between $5-$10 per month in December. The plots would generate fuel and NFT. Tier 1 plots give the same amount of NFT as tier 4. I'm leveling up and optimizing a tier 1 plot to know when I can get combustible with extractors and converters; or reselling resources in the marketplace2. Players who want to play in ARENA and OVERWORLD will earn resources that will allow them to level up NFTs. However, at the time of announcing the start of alpha, the plots will increase in price as in December from $400 to $750.
about SEC demand (token vs security)
@tall crypt whats the best land to go for ?
Tier 1,
What makes you think that?
I would say t2
Is the building of roads/paths of any relevance ?
Where do I report bugs for Zero?
Is this a known bug? Marketplace structure appears on top of databank after setting.
I’ve not seen it. But I don’t see much. Send #❓❓〕support a bug report
😮 I thought they squashed all of those
in any case not a lot of point in fixing minor rendering bugs as the Beta has a new rendering engine
What a tier 3 land produces is the same as what 9 tier 1 land. The price of a tier 3 is similar to 9 tier 1. The future returning illuvium player who wants to be self-sufficient with minimal investment will buy the lowest barrier to entry , a tier 1. A tier 3 land produces 15 blueprints, 9 tier 1 land produces 135 blueprints.
A tier 2 is right now compared to the price the best imo.
Also you have to play like unlimited time daily if you just have t1 lands
- fuel will be very important for Ilv zero players also. And i think fuel is the place where you generate continuously money
Oh, you are talking just about the phase right now and not about the release? You are right then
If you want to manage several lands, it is better to regroup them in a higher level one or city..
Assumption. With a tier 1 you can get $100 a year + NFT. With a tier 4, $2700 + NFT. At current prices in 2-3 years you could amortize the land, as the game will be running, the land at that time will be worth twice what it is now.
yeah, but a t1 costs around 300$ with 1 fuelsite
a t2 costs 800 with 3x fuelsite
So you will get ~3 times more fuel through a t2 land compared to t1
but a t2 is cheaper right now than 3x the price of a t1
- you need to invest way more time into a t1
that’s the reason i think that t2’s are worth more compared to t1’s at the today’s prices
The prices to be low, but the tier 2, floor price 900$, the tier 3, 2700$ and the tier 4 8100$, the floor prices are 800$, 2300$ and 9100$ Yes, they are rare, but they are quite similar .
If it is true, since May 25 I have played 1 land Tier1, I have given another 70 to them so that others can play me. Now I will play a Tier 4 tots els dies to see what fuel I am able to obtain. With a tier 1 the maximum is 22 with the extractor, with the others I don't know. I refer to the practice.
It's 22/30/45/90 Fuel per lv6 extractor for T1-T4.
Or 105 on T4 with the matching fuel landmark.
Yap
If i didn't Made any errors back then you have following outputs of Max Buildings
THank You
Hello! will I be able to get blueprints and mint nft with the f2p t3 land or should I focus ont my t1 land?
F2p will never be able to mint nfts, focus on your t1
Hate my t1 land
thank you! So F2P is just to be able te tryout a t3? Nothing to win on grinding on it?
Yea, for now.
It will later on, when IZ starts evolving, have the function of all t0 stuff, onboard people into the game eco system
thank you a lot!
I’m playing 3 T1 land and I’m enjoying myself. What made you hate it?
Just hate the grind that's all
True. The 777 technique solves that though. It really helped me.
Now, I just log on 3-4 times a day if I have time.
But what is the 777 technique
Hello! I have a question, is buying a land worth it?
I want to be able to play the game, but I see there is a free land
And also want to make money with the NFTs
Like capturing NFTs and selling them
The free land will not allow you to own or mint any NFTs. The lands are used to produce the in game tokens for #🎮〕illuvium-overworld but you could always just buy those in game tokens as well.
If you want to play the land building game anyways then I'd say buy a land. If you just want to play #🎮〕illuvium-overworld or #🎮〕illuvium-arena then land is not necessary. #🥩〕staking ILV may be as useful for ongoing value that can be swapped and used to get in game tokens.
Ok, so the land is to sell blueprints and resources, but I can sell the NFTs I catch playing the game right?
yeah I might go for ILV token for in game
Thanks for the info bro
ILV is not the in game token. But you could always swap for it
You catch and gather stuff that will be nfts in #🎮〕illuvium-overworld not in the land game.
Ohh okok ty!
To mint the BluePrints, we understand we need a Zero Point Transducer. The difference between a Level 1, 2, or 3 is significant. Could we be told what level the Zero Point Transducer will need to be so that we can build it now?
people are speculating on the bps? arent they the same bp like everyone's?
This is an interesting take. I think once open beta comes out you'll see the % go up as far as land being played. If the price does drop more, I may have to buy one or two more. Too good to pass up. Increase the chances of me getting BPs by 20-30%? I'm watching closely.
Hello I have a question, in materials lab, I research at the same time, but they have different time left. Any answer about this? I can't send a picture of it in this channel.
Most likely you have different amount of paths around your labs.
?zero-path
In Illuvium Zero, paths are an important aspect of your land optimization. When placed next to buildings, paths can increase the speed of activities such as construction, extraction, conversion, and scanning. It is important to note that the connectivity of paths is not a factor in their effectiveness - a completely surrounded building is the most optimal setup for maximum efficiency.
Oh I see. I didn't know about this 😄 . Now I know. Thank you
Can u sell sILV2 for eth
Yes.
Ty
where can i see how much disks i opened already
When iccp?
Which one? 😂
There’s no way I want to change that. I still have 56 blueprints to find
At least you would know what to build while scanning/researching 🙃
I have lv one across the board already just in case
I would struggle to get lv 3 I think depending on time frame left
Pretty challenging on t1s
If you are already researching know in your t1... I guess you would have more than enough time even on t1.
Depending on how much you play obviously.
No Betty! Don’t make it hard for us old people
Harder = less blueprints = more value
Harder= mum won’t finish= sad mum
He probably mentioned it becasue he wants somebody to do it
Absolutely
Yes but that probably because he’s got all bp and maxed fuel and is bored. He’s a pro at it
He got dem cheat codes
Please no
I can't do it anyways no roles for that... Would have if i could tho
Sadly I'm working on something else more important
Breakfast?
Do spill
You'll see soon 🙂

It's ok, already have a winner in my dms
Bribing people to message you
People actually like me and message me daily, you wouldn't understand
I get too many messages already.
He doesn’t like my feet pics apparently
I heard Crystal been selling them for $20. Good business idea
I want my money back
Only because someone in the community created a liquidity pool for it on uniswap. It’s not trading at the same price as ILV.
Is it possible in the shop to filter and see only the plots which are for sale?
So that you could potentiolly see a City?
better use tokentrove for this
thank you
Is it already possible to make money from ilv zero?
No, ser
@radiant sky but isnt it possible to get blueprints? Cant we sell them?
Yes, ser
You can mint them End of season 1
Okay, thank you Ser. Any good youtube tutorials to max out the efficiency?
There's a Tutorial on the official YouTube channel of illuvium. You might Find some Stuff in #🎨〕community-content aswell.
Thank you so much 🙂
When is the expected window going to open for us to mint the NFTs? I know it says at the end of season 1..but when is the expected date?
They haven't announced a date yet. October at earliest is all we know for now.
What's happens if we sell a land plot that we've got all blueprints for?
The land plot and the blueprints will get wiped.
Oh dear, I done f'd up! 🤣
When we mint them then they are connected to your wallet. Then you can sell the land plot. But right now all get wiped.
Did any of you guys have trouble logging in just bought land and can’t login to my account
Land is in the correct wallet not sure what’s going on
@wise widget funnily enough I have purchased your land and can’t login would be good if I get the blueprints I’ll let you know if I ever get to login
I would try to complete reboot the System+ router, clear Cache in Browser, reconnect the wallet with your Land on and see what happens.
But Support is often fast to help you out.
Thanks trying that out now the old turn it off and on trick 😉
I'm always surprised how often it helps 😄
How long does it roughly take to login just have a screen saying waiting for captcha…
In IZ it happens pretty fast for me... Like 5-10 sec Max?
There is also something you could try in the registry if you Face that error. But i recommend doing it with Support.
Oh congratulations mate I hope you get them too, be a shame if they do get wasted, put a lot of effort into getting them.
Hey guys
I have purchased land, and set an email account up ages ago. It's asking me to link my land plots to the email
It's not working? I need to do it a Web browser? Where?
Repit process with other email. .Maybe transfer land to Otherr address and link email with eth address before links process. Suport say me, email and link address no run, detach email account.
Low Mbs/sec. Bandwith low ever do this.
15, 3 from each of the 5 different Illuvial biodata 🙂
is there a count on how many people asked the same 2 questions
64 blueprints and counting. Only 56 left to get. 😅
Check in #899655780033261639
Is that what guilds are for?
It is something that some guilds do.
i'm looking for a kind manager, join our guild sir, there are many scholars who need something like that
Do we have any infos when we will be able to mint our bps?
Has anyone managed to collect all blueprints on a T1? Just wondering how long it took.
Yes, my fastest plot got them in just 17 days. The others about 3-4 weeks.
That's pretty decent. I'm thinking of picking a couple of t1s up. Dirt cheap rn imo
Yeah, prices are pretty low right now
ok just keep in mind vana is the fastest out there
the average player wont get the blueprints in 3-4 weeks on T1s 😛
Good point.
My T1s were all running 7 scanners at 100% and 9 labs at 150%, so it depends a lot on how efficient you can get your plot to be, and how much time you have to play to set it up.
Once everything is running you only really have to check it once or twice a day.
So if you're not super efficient I'd say maybe 1-2 months to find everything.
Hey @timber glacier will you stream your arena today?
Unfortunately, I can't stream arena. My laptop usually runs at max just by playing the game, so I can't really stream at the same time, or it'd probably start melting.
Oh i see it's ok
whats your graphics card?
Intel Iris Xe
oh i see. what level of graphics you put in the game?
lowest settings
it runs fine, but there's always some graphics issues with icons and stuff
i see i see. very nice that it works though ^^
maybe in time they will optimize the graphics more so everyone can run the game even they have an integrated graphics card or so
hopefully
for fuel like crypton, solon and hyperion will it be useful later sir
Yes. Later.
I am curious about the NFT we are able to mint and what price tags they might have. 20k land plots with potentially 15 NFTs per land equals 300k NFTs.
hey friends, I was off last week and on monday, so I'm catching up on everything before releasing a new update. Expect it tomorrow, I don't think I'll have the time today 😓
Hope you had a nice break!
You are doing great work man just take some rest
will it be worth it later?
I do not understand what you are asking about
Hello! I found something strange: I have lvl 3 fuel converters and the base reward should be 3 fuel per conversion. I upped their efficiency using power station up to 150%. In my calculation, with the 150% efficiency, I should receive 5 fuel per conversion (3 x 150% = 4.5 -> 5 once rounded) However it only gives 4 instead of 5 hich is weird since I could get two fuels instead of one when my converters were lvl 1. Any ideas?
If the number ends in .5 so it is halfway between two integers, one of which is even and the other odd, the even number is goint to be returned.
It's weird, and probably not intentioned.
And it's gona be calculated differently in open beta.
Actually 11% is listed on the marketplace (2200 lands don't work). There are large holders cannot work all their lands 10%. A lot of investors who bought lands on june 2022 are speculators and don't interested on the game. Maybe only 50% of lands will produce NFT. 150k NFTs.
50% will play the game maybe - but only a low amount will mint the bps and play that far
i think it’s moreover around 20k
What to do with facts
they improve the chances that you find blueprints of the same affinity
Only 20k NFT? I have more 800. No posible.
Ah ok Ty
Besides that maintaining just 2 lands is pretty much work, let alone for those people that have like 25 or 100.
I know, I so want to go in and grab a few more at these prices, but I won't have the time to maintain them, or at least get them built up.
I pretty much got all bleuprints by now, just one chars bleuprints left. I am expecting 3 per illuvial, seeing theres 5 illuvials, that makes max 15 bleuprints.
I changed my tactic from the previous alpha i just let is sit there and make the plants takeover, then harvest them wait again.
It made it go alot faster eventually
That's a pretty slick tactic actually. May try that on one of mine.
But only to a point though, right? I've let my other built up lands go for weeks now, but only about 2 days worth of plants max will spawn there.
There's plenty of room for more to spawn, but they don't.
they should maybe you need to open it and close it once a day
This is a good question for the devs
oh yeah i looked at my plot the free one its empty now. Lets see in a week.
no need to i know it works, my other plots did
But mine have not. So I'm wondering if your checking in is what caused it. Would be good for everyone to know the answer.
Checking in daily, I mean
And you never get plants?
I just went to my FTP for the first time ever since the patch, and it looks like this
Then I went to a plot I haven't touched in weeks, and it just looks like this.
I'm not doubting that your plots are getting overran by plants, I would just be interested in knowing how, so I can try and do it too.
On public beta 200 building will be the maximum that we can to build?
when release on ios?
Any news on when we can mint our bps?
Not known yet
Not known yet
Will we need to build a Zero Point Transducer and use it before we can?
You will need a Zero Point Transducer for minting bp's
For clarity, In this current version I will? For the original 15?
Yes, as per Johnny’s message here #🎮〕illuvium-zero message
Anyone know what date we can mint our illuvals we discovered in Illuvium zero?
No. No one knows.
OK! Thanks for the info though!
land prices have taken a serious hit havent they. kinda wish i waited could hv bought a t3😭
Hello! do efficiency impact the passive fuel generation of my converters?
Yes
thank you
Quick question:
Can I play IL Zero on my iPhone?
no not yet. but they work on it. plan is WebGL version for Public beta.
Alright, back to bed I guess
just open it once per day then close it
mnaybe harvest one plant, ill try that on my free plot aswell.
If that doesnt work anymore it got fixed, because i did use it for my paid plots. I had 150 coin at some point
stsrted using them for everything that took over 1 hour
and then was able to swiftly grow the plot
what was T2 ATL?
when will the minting of blueprints start?
No date announced yet. But before public beta starts
and when is public beta?
hello guys!!!! do you know when can we mint the Nfts with the blueprints?? do we have dates yet?? thanks
@hoary forge
The plan is Q4 this year.
Check my message above.😉
thanks mate!!! awesome
so you have 3 elements and 3 fuel.
fuel is the stuff that you need for the overworld. this is the stuff you can sell.
you need all elements and all fuel to upgrade your buildings. you can get them by farming them or convert them.
if you have all elements and all fuel on your land plot you don´t need to convert (cost more time) to upgrade your buildings.
🤔
if you lets say have a tier 1 with all elements and only 1 fuel then you need to convert the fuel to get some of the other fuels to upgrade your buildings
you sell the fuel to the Pool and you buy fuel from the pool to play overworld.
https://illuvidex.illuvium.io/asset/0x9e0d99b864e1ac12565125c5a82b59adea5a09cd/84446
this is my tier 2 that i am selling. don´t look at the price. its from months ago.
Ok let me see
I am going to do some research and will get back to you on that mate i want to understand better.
How it works
sure no problem.
When is the next final wipe of ILZ?
before public beta starts.
anybody have access to friend.tech that they wouldnt mind sharing with a fellow ill?
not allowed here in our discord
ok np sorry
During Public Beta, will fuel be sellable, assuming probably not?
when public beta starts, you can sell your fuel.
PB is the time when we going live. blockchain connected and earning can start.
Ah ok, I poked around on YouTube an the #🎨〕community-content a bit looking on how to best optimize fuel, but didn't see much. Aware of anything like that? Saw someone had some "Industrial Complex" prioritizing crypton, but looked like a higher tier land.
ya its hard to find a video on what the best fuel optimization is. i guess there will be some updates for public beta coming that could change it a bit. and yes higher tiers can go faster to higher buildings because they have more fuel/elements on there land plot.
200 is the maximum building that we can build on land?or 200 is limited to alpha?
don't think it will change for open beta, cause there's not really a reason. But who knows, maybe they do
There have been plenty of updates in pins of this channel. Most of the team was taking a well earned break last week. There should be an update early next week.
If you unlink your wallet and re-link it to the same Illuvium account, does your land get reset?
That’s a good question. I have not tested it to find out.
What do you mean ?
The game is available. Only need web 3 integration.
You can farm Blueprint.
what are you doing with the fuel during the beta? can it be kind of sold during the beta or just accumulate ad infinitum?
Can't be sold in private Beta season 1
so at the end the beta once you build enough or obtain the blueprints it has no sense to keep playing, ins;t it?
Up to now, blueprints are the only thing to be minted into nft's before s1 ends. So basically if you got them and built your ZPT to mint them during the minting window, you are done for now.
However, if open Beta gets delayed or some specific features need more testing additional Stuff could be added for certain Goals.
Have you ever thought about writing optimisation tutorials or tips guides?
Hi guys! i have not been really active in discord, has the Team ever discuss the posibility to reset / or partially at least the buldings when selling in the market??
It would grant a lower path of fuel emisson, would benefit holders and make the Game longer and more customizable
You can wipe your land before selling
I know, but if It happens in every market transaction It would grant fuel scarcity in the bull run
Fair play on every sale
I haven’t heard them talk about that. Someone else may have an answer for you.
Yes
I have a suggestion for where they could go
I'm all ears 🙃
There's a reset Button where you can reset your plot AT every time.
Appart from that, in season 1 Land resets if transfered to another wallet. In open Beta that won't be the case anymore.
Can I dm you
Sure
What do we get for to sell fuel? ILV or ETH?
I think it's eth. Maybe silv2 but not 100% sure about silv2
season 1 to PB1 will the level, fuel, blueprint be reset too?
All will get reset. Only blueprints that you mint can you keep
Will minting blueprint via ZPT cost any element/fuel?
Do we have to upgrade ZPT to level 3 or no?
No, level 1 should be enough, unless they announce any changes
There has been no mention of any costs yet, so hopefully not
It will be ETH, NOT sILV2
you only can buy fuel for silv2 right?
No. You're able to use sILV2 instead of fuel.
I.e. T1 travel for 100 crypton or 0.1 sILV2.
oh now i get it. that token info is really wired
maybe we need a new better info for zero, overworld
Just traded my Illuvs for my very first T2 LAND!!!!!
Hi all, I just upgraded to a new tablet. Linked my wallet on the new one and I just get “email address already in use” - doesn’t let me download the game. Any tips?
You don’t need to use different accounts on each device.
No need to link wallet on new device, because you should have just the one account that you use across any of your devices and the wallet is connected to that account.

Love this!!!
This is old.
I remember seeing it - but been a while 😆
Ya saw it a few times too 😂
Would the sale of fuel be considered in game rewards? Then it will be ILV.
Do we have a breakdown of how many biodata per illuvial will be available or what the success rate will be for each illuvial for OB?
build a converter
Oh you’re the boss
that will swap one of your resources to another
You can build the marketplace to also trade resources
any idea when the wipe is going to come?
No. Fuel is sold for eth. It is not in game rewards. Not like that.
No.
Will the announcement for the minting window be announced on all socials?
I will push for twitter, YouTube, discord, and email. Not sure what else the team really uses.
Telegram and Reddit too
Can we already mint the BP?
Not yet

I'm waiting to sell my Holo Synalph to get like 4 T1 Lands
Or 2 T2 LANDs
Or 1 T3 LAND
But i think i'll only buy like 2 T1 and keep the rest for D1sks
What do you think it's better guys?
Depends what you're planning on doing with those lands.
Fuel?
Blueprints?
I'm looking to buy a plot for scanner first
Like on a 1x3 island
Then other ones here & there
So if a Mega City wants to form i'm flipping them x2 or x3
I already have a T2 LAND as now
Well, for scanning I'd go T2 if there's a good layout with enough free space for scanners. Otherwise T1s, but they're a lot slower to build up for scanning. They do have a lot of open space though, so way easier to fit scanners.
Of course, once you can send resources between plots, T1s might not be that slow to build up, so there's that to consider too.
Thanks
send resources between plots will be a thing ?
yes ser
you should be able to buy and sell from others, and transfer between your own plots.

what is needed to mint blueprints when the time comes?
Having researched the blueprints and having a Zero Point Transducer. That's what we know for now
hey guys do the efficiency affect passive generation or fuel?
Yes ser
Whats a plan to keep Zero interesting?
Im nearing top tiers on most structures
Constant research and resource grinding or will we have further tiers and things to work towards?
I expect the team to only launch illuvium zero officially (reset to start real fuel production) after megacities are fully functional.
Try some Stuff Like
Checking if it is the correct wallet
Clear Cache and reconnect
Reboot PC + Router

Hey my dear friends!
I think i see something to pull some Dollars in the Bank and i am wondering if some guys are up to it.
Could work but not guaranted...
I am wondering why no big dude goes for it and trys to pull it off.
Cant do it alone and i am thinking if tehre are some Zero guys who wanna try it?
i think i am allowed to explain it here or would that be something what you cant do?
hey how many illuviums can you scan on a scanner stage 1?
I have found 4 so far
sorry 5
is there anypoint after you have all of them? assuming that 5 is the limit for stage 1 ?
or shoudl i jst scan stage 2
There are just 5 biodata available in season 1
Reset everything and start again from nothing. I guess that’s all we can do now
If we reset do we lose all our blueprints
Yes, resetting a plot wipes blueprints for that plot
Blueprints obtained in Season 0 will be available for to be minted by players even though the plots will be reset going into open beta
[Editing based on Johnny feedback] Mega cities remain in plan to be available for open beta launch.
What changed?
was thinking the same thing.
Let’s get team to confirm but a couple months ago I believe in an interview it was indicated megacities my not make it for open beta. @cyan bone or @amber atlas, can you confirm if this will be a feature still in scope for open beta launch?
Probably old Info if it has been months.
You can See also in weekly techupdstes, that they are working on it and make good progress.
good evening, I want to buy a land, can you recommend which land and with what crystals would be better to buy it, I want a land from category 1, the cheapest
?
I recomended 38815 for 350 USDC it's the best.
explain please, why do you think it is so good?
I'm new to the world of illuvium and I don't really understand everything
They made it clear that it would not be ready. I think they will launch it with the second land placement that would happen 1 year after the launch of the alpha, rather, when the price of the lands rise a lot. At that time, those who have perimeter lands will pay a premium for taking over the new perimeter lands that are released, thus being able to form megacities.
1 mine carbon, 1 mine hidrogen and 1 mine silicon. No need converters, You produce ever the same quantity of elements. If you combine only 1/8 is homogenial element 12000 total tier 1 lands... only 1500 lands have homogenial element.
good news
They never had a date for a Next landsale, also megacities where never connected to any Landsale as far as i know.
Landsale in General will most likely Change, you can read up in iccp13 in #1024051993402155118 which got approved by subcouncil
Also you can read up here in pinned messages for any Updates and to get a little overview what they are working on right now. 🙂
?fuel
In the Illuvium Universe, there are three different types of fuel Hyperion, Solon, and Crypton. These fuels are used in the Illuvium ecosystem for various purposes, such as curing shards, crafting weapons and upgrades, and traveling to different regions. Fuel production is driven by Illuvium Zero
In Illuvium: Overworld
- Hyperion is used to cure shards and capture Illuvials,
- Solon is used to craft weapons, armor, and other upgrades,
- Crypton is used to travel to different regions.
In Illuvium: Zero
Hyperion, Solon, and Crypton are commonly used in high-level buildings. These fuel types may be required in order to build or upgrade certain structures
I say what is. It will start without megacities. And if the megacities have to be implemented, it will be linked to a new sale of land. Very few landowners have megacities, so I doubt they will be able to lobby the council. They are also very difficult to get. They haven't even bothered to get IMX to run a DECENTRALAND-style land pack marketplace where lands and states are sold. If I want to sell a megacity I can't do it in the official IMX market safely(simultaneously). When you see that, we'll talk about how megacities are useful. For now blah blah blah.
It's your assumption, but don't sell it as a fact 🙃
Everyone has understood that the date is an assumption. What is certain is that in a survey that was done a long time ago to the leaders of Illuvium is that during the launch of the alpha you could not enjoy the benefits of the megacities. However, we are in a beta phase where we are grateful to those who are playing to be able to test and calibrate the obtaining of resources and calibrate the economy of the game. During this test phase it was not possible to test the benefits of megacities. I remember that the benefits of the megacity are that the resources of the lands are shared between the plots, and that the lands inherit the properties of the land with the highest tier (minimum 3 or 4).

For Info about planned features of a megicity
What's not mentioned there... you should also be able to do t1 megacities.
There was never mentioned a Limit in Tiers to build one
The land sale timing feedback you shared here is not correct. We’ve just finished drafting the revised IIP incorporating the various elements from the fuel and land sale discussions and no one has a 1 year time frame in mind on any of the councils.
I agree that the timing I had last heard was some time after open beta but I don’t expect there would be any reason to tie it to future land sales. It should be released when the functionality is ready and has been tested for appropriate balance. Team should give feedback on this though to ensure the information is the latest.
Johnny the brave doesn't seem to See a need for a test pre open Beta Launch 😂
All good then. If Johnny has confirmed it’s make open beta launch then he would have the most up to date info.
see You tube ref: f-F1OU22zoo
We'll See... nothing is set in stone before it is live, right.
But i have a positive feeling 🙃
Megacities allow adjacent plots that make up a 2x2 or 3x3 square to be combined to form one larger plot.
The expected benefits of a mega-city are:
the ability to share landmark bonuses between plots,
the ability to share resources between plots with no transfer cost (in either time or resources)
the ability to share support buildings like the Engineering Lab resulting in increased available space.
Megacities are not currently available in Illuvium: Zero and a specific date for their implementation has not been announced.
Nvm, I'm not gonna bother with this guy again
Whan is possible to withdraw blueprints?
AT the end of season 1
Is there a benefit to surrounding converters with paths or no?
If it comes to upgrading the converter or active conversion, yes.
Time for those activities will be reduced depending on how many sites of your converter you completely built paths
good evening, I bought a piece of land and started playing, if I advance in the game do we have any advantages when the game will be released officially?
The game will reset at the end of the season but You’ll be able to keep the blueprints you find.
Only thing worth doing now is to build some scanners and material labs, collect the 5 biodata and 15 blueprints available.
Is it just me or is illuvium zero just no fun, poorly designed game
I think it depends on what kind of game you were expecting?
It's still in its early stages and due to be connected to the other games soon.
I thoroughly enjoy playing the game even after I have all the blueprints. right now I just want to hit that 100mill mark on my resources
Anyone has some tips to share to find blueprints quicker? I've got 6 singularity scanners of stage 2 and 3, and only this morning I finally found my 3rd biodata..
Ya I get it's supposed to be a companion game but it still needs to be able to be fun on its own. Right now it's mainly resource grinding and building. I'm not looking for combat but I used to play other city builder and they just seemed to be at least a bit more of a game play loop and variety than that. In this you're kind of hamstrung to your plot resources and positioning. I know it's beta but I'd at least like some way the illuvials could be in a more engaging way in zero. Maybe even just roaming around your map or you can use them to aid certain building etc. Even the changing your mines to, partially full, half full, complete with graphics and not just the status circle. It just feel like an afterthought compared to the other games and just a time sink/farming(for resources) sink. I can't see myself playing this for any other reason but to grind for resources for the other games/money. I want it to be fun to play without those reasons
Honestly I respect the grind! That's a lot of dedication! To me this game mainly entices completionists and grinders atm as a standalone
For this season, upgrading the scanners have no effect since there's only tier 1 biodata to be found.
The only way to speed things up is to build more scanners or having them at a higher efficiency by not having any buildings or plants around them.
Same with materials labs. More with higher efficiency gives you more speed of finding things.
Do the paths around the mat labs have any effect on their speed? Do you know?
Yes, they reduce research time, just like on other buildings.
The only thing paths don't affect is the Passive fuel timer on fuel converters.
I get you. It's definitely being thought of and ideated.
Thanks! I guess I'll go minimal with the support buildings and get more scanners then
For reference, I've been using 7 scanners (at 100% efficiency), and I've found all 5 biodata in between 40-47 scans on my plots. So on average a little above 10% chance to find one per scan for me.
That's good! I have done around the same amount of scans so far, so hopefully soon I'll get lucky!
Just have to keep trying, good luck!
Got it. I should have used more paths between may labs then
guys if i have 2 or more ZPTs does it gives any advantage than having only 1?
It doesn't have it's functionality yet, so we don't know.
allright. ill just go with 2 for now i guess 😄
How do I get access to the illuvium zero? I have land and I've played it earlier.
Then you just download the game and login with the account that the land is linked to
Working now. It was connected to a different wallet. Hard refresh worked
How can I play the game?
For #🎮〕illuvium-zero you must have an account that holds an illuvium land NFT. Then you can download the #🎮〕illuvium-zero game to pc or android.
Where can I buy a Land NFT?

Illuvium utilizes Immutable X as its layer 2 solution, providing cost-effective transactions. This means that minting and trading Illuvials will be free of network gas fees, while only transferring funds between the Ethereum Mainnet and Immutable X will incur gas fees. By reducing the cost of transactions, players can maximize their potential gains.
My dream, my thought, my goal and my disbelief.
When i tell a friend about illuvium i never mentioned beyond, but always showed them the Land plots.
I am ashemed of us as comunuty that Land prices dropped so much.
My Mission now is to not let Tier 3 dropp under 1 ETH. I will sell my car my House 🏠 my ... before that happens.
I also think that we as a Community should step up and push Tier 3 back over 2 ETH
If this Game is that what we think it can be, it would be better for us to start with higher Land prices
My thoughts were 💭 —> buy more land plots

NFA
any estimate on when we will be able to mint the BPs?
Not really
can't buy more plots...need to make a plan to get more plots
Hello. minting period already started? I got all the 5 blueprints
no minting announced yet, and yes, expect land prices to continue to drop due to bear market and limited value to land for now...let us how that changes this fall
Any word if the level-up pop-ups are going away by the time Open Beta comes out?
there was talk about it being reworked; I personally believe it will be adjusted by open beta
I hope you're right. Single worst experience in the game, and seems like it would be a quick fix.
Personally hoping it falls under 1 eth so my friends can afford a T3.
When you say 5 do you mean 15?
3 blueprints for each of the 5 biodata (different scanned illuvials)
Im a bit a confused how it works - you have different levels of bio data? I.e. what is the benefit of upgrading the scanner, research labs, transcenders etc?
At the moment there is no benefit in upgrading science buildings. Since it’s all just the same levels of data/blueprints.
But after public beta launch then there will be more available at higher levels
ok got it! so I need to focus on getting 15 blueprints!
I already have 5 Biodata and all but 1 of the facts. So I should just build a heap of materials labs to crank out the blueprints 🙂
3 normal does the trick for me
and 3 data banks
150% efficincy
my Ilast IZ misson is to get 2000 fuel and 100 mill each element before the wipe
on my t3
You built storage for 100mill Elements? 😲
approx 50 mill atm
How many storage Buildings is that onnyour t3?
13 carbom 14 dliconn 11 hydrogen
cilicon
for sure fraggy on the T4 wreck'd that already
Na, noone would build so many storage i guess 🙃
I think you will keep that world record 😂
Its standard requirments for shot loads of fuel ...I have 9 lands only play three as experiment atm
shit loads even
I can build 200 building if I want I max'd my nexus long time ago
hey there - has anyone rented or lent a land here?
Is there a way to rent? I read about Polemos - how does that work?
Answered in #💬〕general 😉
I'm get now one tier 3.
1 of each is enough ser
So I've been checking every day but like I didn't miss the minting right?
yep. I mean all the five illuvial. I got all the blueprints time ago.
No, you didnt miss it. This will be announced here #📣〕announcements
Hey qq: hello
how do you verify you land and access the beta?
If you want to play I:Z you only have to download the game and login with the account from Illuvidex, where your wallet (with land) is linked
Got it
no need for verification of the land via collab.land
Are there any good guides around in terms of the current meta for maximizing fuel? Like having tons of converters and what ratios to have them and placement etc?
There are changes coming to how converter passives, paths and possibly power stations work, so I don't think anyone has taken the time to make a proper guide until that info is released.
Ah I see thanks. As I'm learning about the game and playing I am starting to realize that maybe T4's are not as vastly superior to T1's as I initially thought since T1's can mass converters to generate passive fuel. I used to think one T4 would be the equivalent of like 45 T1's or so. I ended up focusing on getting T4. I've been playing almost every day on my T4 but still don't have a great grasp of things. Seems like you have a lot of experience in ILZ @timber glacier what do you think would be your rough estimation of fuel generation of a maxed out T1 vs T4 based on the current state of things?
@unborn pilot
Ohhh exactly the kind of thing I was looking for, thank you!
Cheers!
So to clarify my understanding, T4's will have substantially more fuel from extractors, e.g. 9 x 90 fuel per day vs. 1 x 22.5 per day on a T1. However if a T1 spams a bunch of converters, they can potentially make up a significant part of that gap
credits to Spoon 😉
They won't output that much if you spam them, because you need 150% efficiency
"I used to think one T4 would be the equivalent of like 45 T1's or so" - are you verifying this right now? If so, could you tell me what you've calculated (I'm interested 😄 )
Yeah I mean just based on pretty rough and quick calculations I've done based off of @radiant sky's graphic, assuming one could cram 15 converters at 150% boost (and actually less for a T4 since they have less open space/real estate):
T4
9 sites x 90 = 810
15 converters x 18 = 270
IF actively converting 15 x 30 = 450
Total = 1530 (maybe marginally boosted by landmark if it works well with given sites)
T1
1 site x 22.5 = 22.5
15 converters x 4.5 = 67.5
IF actively converting 15 x 3 = 45
Total = 135
In other words based on the current numbers, it seems a T4 performs barely performs above 10x the fuel production of a T1 given the use of mass converters. Possibly even less given that T4's have less real estate from the multitude of fuel/element sites compared to a T1.
Which if I'm honest is kind of disappointing as someone who primarily focused on T4 rather than amassing T1's, and kind of makes me want to just sell my land eventually. The initial Land Sale graphic showed a much more significant gap between T1's and T4's (with a pricing gap that seemed to reflect it), but I think the aspect of converters being used as a way of generating fuel really reduces the gap.
Yap
Yeah, that's about what I've found as well with the current mechanics we have.
T4 will make about 10-15x more fuel than a T1 in a single day
With the upcoming changes, this will probably change somewhat though. But I don't think there will be drastically different numbers
Na, wouldn't count on it. Julien stated once the Team is happy with the proportions when i brought it up.
Oh, I meant that the fuel amounts may change, not so much the proportions between tiers
Oh i See... yea i guess so
I may have skipped a few steps in my thinking process while I typed
Does that ratio make sense to you guys? Most people I've heard going for T4's have primarily gone for it for fuel production superiority (including myself honestly). T4's historically have been priced 30-40x more than T1's both in the sale and on the open market, but maybe that will change drastically if fuel generation ratio's favor T1.
I understand T1's may take longer to build out initially but when planning long term and maxed out production in both cases, but it seems like the whole passive fuel creation via converters wasn't really factored in in either pricing of lands or by the people buying them.
With these things in mind, it seems like the advantage in fuel generation might just go towards someone who has the technical know-how to bot T1 lands efficiently (since team has said they don't have a problem with botting paid lands), who amasses a large number of T1's which can easily outperform the equivalent number of T4's
No it doesn't.
I'm in the same boat as you are 🙂
Could have used your voice... to me it seemed i was always arguing vs t1 holders, defending their power.
Talks where always shifting to the early game, no one wanted to speak about lategame... obviously.
But GG to the Guy who minted 200+ T1 Land in the Sale. Producing fuel was probably not what he intended, but i'm sure he's happy about that fact nonetheless 😂
Are you guys including the landmark in your calculations?
Haha sorry, have been really busy IRL and barely finding time to play ILZ daily and still getting a grasp of things. Really just trying to stay practiced and in the know of how to manage my land as effectively as possible when we hit open beta. I guess I'm out of the loop in some of the discussions/debates around this particular matter.
@amber atlas Would you mind chiming in on this sometime?
Summarizing:
As lands have been played/analyzed, it seems fuel generation of a T4 is only 10x~15 (+/-) of a T1 at max production. The ability for a T1 to mass spam 15-20 converters for passive fuel generation somehow allows it to close the perceived 40x production gap significantly (which is also unexpected since they're called "converters"). Is this intended and planned to remain this way?
T4's may have the advantage in early progression, but in the long run for a game many plan to play for years and years, by the time we have mass adoption that advantage might be lost/insignificant.
T4 owners naturally make up the minority of voices, but T4 owners still paid significantly more based on what info was given at the time; the land sale seemed to advertise T4's at 40x the value of T1's, both in pricing and in data points for fuel sites, production, etc.. Didn't seem like there was much/any clarity around the significance of converters at that time either. With current state of things, seems like whoever mass farms T1's will heavily outperform others in fuel generation (e.g. via botting, which hasn't been discouraged afaik)
I didn't last time I ran any numbers, since all lands come with different numbers of matching mines to their landmarks.
I just tried to get a decently accurate average to get an idea of the ratios.
I think it's closer to 10x without advantages from landmark, and only slightly higher if you have a combo that benefits from the landmark. I've also seen plenty of T4's that have a useless landmark (doesn't match the sites)
Think t2 is probably the best value buy in terms of fuel production
Yeah, I think the landmarks do matter, it's not just a pure volume game with T4s, so make sure that's in there too.
The only other argument I would make on the opposite side (and I agree with your guys' concerns with the T4s) is how much time out of somebody's day would it take a T1 spammer to accumulate as much as a guy with one T4 plot? I know it's just a few keystrokes, but it would add up, especially if they needed to do other things on the land.
Don't think there's that much time in a day they could do it they will have to rent it out
Which would cut into profits. A problem a T4 holder would not have, hypothetically.
Correct depending how much someone values time that needs to be added in there
Yeah, time commitment is definitely a factor, but when you start involving real money to be earned people will find ways to mass produce one way or another, either via bots or farming out labor to third world countries, etc. Like how nowadays people have come up with really sophisticated airdrop farming bots, because there's money to be made.
The only thing that would directly prevent that are the inherent value differences between different tiers, e.g. fuel production is capped at 2-3% for a T1 vs. a T4. But if you can generate 4x the amount of fuel of the equivalent value of T4's using mass T1's, I think people will find a way to automate or fill the labor gap
I hope the devs do their best to eliminate botting, but I know what you mean. But do factor in the landmark, that' s one heck of a multiplier.
Yeah.. I mean if things stay this way I'd be inclined to sell my T4 land to start a T1 land farming operation lol. But I really don't feel like that's the heart/spirit behind what was intended for T4's.
In terms of landmark, yes it matters but it doesn't seem to be that significant to me? Correct me if I'm misunderstanding, but you get like a 16.67% boost (175% max efficiency vs. 150%) to any matching fuel sites plus converters but only for one specific fuel type. On average out of 9 random sites, this comes to like a 5.6% increase in fuel production or something. Also some T4 lands have zero advantages from landmarks since they don't have any matching sites (I minted one of these, feelsbad)
I think it's added onto the efficiency you already have on there, but I'm not sure. Either way, my main point is, don't sell until you have all the correct answers, and you know it's going to stay that way forever. That's an important, and potentially very significant purchase depending on how the game does.
I think a lot of people sold their T1s thinking it wasn't going to be worth their time, when they actually have no idea how it's really going to play out once we're live.
Right. Yeah I mean I'm not doing anything right now, but also current state of things is concerning was my point, and was seeking clarity on the team's intentions on these things going forward. I'll make my decisions later on as things are solidified
In the meantime, I'm looking heavy into these cheap T1s. I wish I could look into the future and know if these skins are going to sell for anything. I'm already pot-committed as it is.
In general, to @radiant sky's point, it makes sense that voices of T1 owners would naturally drown out those of T4 owners, given that the supply of T1 lands is like 14x~ greater than the supply of T4 lands. But I don't think the number of voices speaking out should be the main factor in this case, since T4 owners would always be outnumbered (though decisions governance would make more sense). The fact is they made purchases at a certain price-performance ratio based on data points and pricing given at the time, and those data points seem to have changed drastically at some point.
Haha yes, I would like to look into the future too 👀
Just kind of digging up old conversations around this. I thought I had some discussions with @amber atlas related to this prior to land sale, but can't seem to find them but did find this comment/string.
I do think from a game balancing perspective, 10x~12x higher vs. 40x~ higher is "vastly different" at this stage. Again team might already be addressing this but just want to understand what they are intending. Seems like mass converter spamming is what's creating the main point of contention. Have people discussed/explored the possibility of limiting the amount of converters you can have? Wouldn't this allow T1's to still develop quickly in early game while balancing end-game fuel production more appropriately?
If fuel generation is inherently limited by the # of sites for each given fuel type, then doesn't it make sense to also limit the number of converters that can add to the raw generation of each fuel type? Even though "converters" adding to raw fuel generation is a little unexpected to begin with
Landmark as it is right now is not really a Heck of a multiplier.
What it basically dies ist increasing Max efficiency of a certain fuel/Element up to 175%.
However, to get the 175% you need to add 2-3 powerstations which are 8-12 squares in Order to even Profit of the landmark.if you are lucky it's 8-12 for 2 converter, but in average i would say it's more Like 8-12aquares /1.5 converter, from what i've seen.
If it comes to timeinvestement, lets be honest here... you can get a Guy for 5 bucks a Day farming 50-100 plots... not really a Big investement most likely.
Have you thought about writing analysis articles or guides?
Not really lol. I barely have time to manage a few of my own lands as it is 😂
Fair call. You just seem to have a good handle on the efficiency
Actually I mostly just was referencing work already done by @radiant sky and @timber glacier haha
I just got the last blueprint. I’m so proud of myself. 120 blueprints in about 5 weeks start to finish
Nice congrats!
They are both a wealth of knowledge and I have already asked them if they are going to write. Lol
They for sure have some worth, but i guess it starts really growing when other Games are out, Like an fps.
People who play Arena, know probably what i mean, when i say i never Look at Mozart and barely AT the Ranger.
I would go that far and say IB whales will have most Profit from skins as Long as there is just the autobattler for pvp.
Dev's dgaf and have made their opinion known. Whales harvested, gg
But there is a decent post spoon made and i followed up on that i will link when i find it
Idk I've been a little out of the loop but had a lot of discussions with @amber atlas long time ago.. Looks like he's typing and I'm interested to get some perspective on the intended design for the future. Especially since it's still in Alpha. I haven't really been able to find any definitive opinions from devs but maybe I suck at searching.
Both johnny and julian, the new lead dev, have said they are happy with the production ratios.
Like I get the intent of converters allowing T1 players to advance more quickly, but it doesn't make sense for converters to allow T1's to more than quadruple their end-game fuel generation. So capping converters makes sense to me unless there's some reason not to do that. It would let early gameplay advance but cap end-game fuel generation to more reasonable ratios.
Especially when they're called "converters"
Idk, I wanna give the benefit of the doubt especially since Johnny said prior to the land sale "T4 staritng price was 40x higher, the value produced should be roughly 40x higher too, if it is vastly different from that we will adjust"
Link that if you can find it
I did above
@unborn pilot @radiant sky
Taking the ratio between starting prices and assuming that meant Fuel production would follow that ratio is an (incorrect) assumption. Some of the other factors are resource production, speed/complexity of development, potential effects of future features, effects of landmarks on megacities, and scarcity/rarity. These factors were discussed over and over again before and during the sale!
That said:
-
The balance is definitely not final, there won't be huge changes in these basic behaviors, but I would expect converters efficiency stats to be a harder to max in the final balance, probably expressed through a larger range of effect between similar types of converters. I also expect, as discussed here a few weeks ago, that we will boost landmark bonuses a little.
-
You are looking at Fuel production in a microcosm. Its not as simple as that, for example new features take space (i.e. you have to build more structures). They will have efficiency effects which could include negative conversion effects. So as we add more stuff, you have to sacrifice more and more converters to take advantage of those features.
-
The cost of slow build and reduced flexibility should not be overlooked. This is not just a one off when you first max out, but also every time large upgrades/features come in. Reconfiguring your plot is much faster on higher tiers, due to both storage bonuses and the overall availability of resources. i.e. an upgrade on a T1 might mean selling several converters, building up a bunch of storage so you have enough to cover new building upgrade costs, before eventually selling the storage and building back up the converters.
-
The ratios in your numbers means the calculations are very sentivie to anything that costs Fuel. For example lets say we introduced a Fuel sink (a feature that cost Fuel in return for a reward) that at maximum level costs 30 Fuel per day. This one feature, using your numbers, moves the ratio from ~10:1 to approximately ~14:1.
So, in summary:
-
I expect balance at Open beta to be a little more favourable to T4, but not significantly so. Maybe more like 15x.
-
Over time these differences might become more accentuated, as T1s need to make choices about specializing in specific features vs higher tiers being able to continue to produce max Fuel whilst also taking advantage of new features.
-
I do think its a reasonable balance goal to aim for relative tier values (on the market) to stay similar to what they were at time of sale.
-
In the end if you disagree you can craft your own ICCP and propose your own targets, gather support, and bring it to the council. I'd suggest that its better to do that after release so we can see how it plays out before making major changes.
- @spring mist + @grizzled jay + @bitter glade
(Also that sounds very preachy its not meant to, there's a lot of value in the calculations and thought you guys are putting in)
I'd be satisfied with you saying that prices should reflect in game value, and if not, mechanics would be adjusted. I completely understand that 40x t4 vs t1 prod is absurd considering all the other benefits a t4 gets
You might, but others probably not so much 😉 It can't hurt to explain the thinking, plus its fun!
Thanks for the response Johnny, appreciate the perspective. I understand it can be addressed further after the game comes out, but maybe a couple quick clarifications if possible..
If it is an incorrect assumption that Fuel production would follow starting prices, why did you state prior to the land sale that T4’s should produce roughly 40x higher, and it would be adjusted if it is vastly different? Sorry I’m really not trying to offend, I just want to understand, because it doesn't sound like "adjusting" in any significant way is the intention anymore. As someone who stayed up almost the entire 3 days during the land sale, I know for a fact a ton of people buying T4's were doing it under exactly that assumption, the only data points available at the time, and a lot of what was being implied. Especially since the game was not playable at all then. That's also reflected in the fact that average sale price of T4's were 33x~ of what people paid for T1's. To my knowledge there was hardly any info at all about the impact converters would have on overall fuel generation. Even the fact that a building called a “converter” can ultimately boost a T1’s end-game fuel production by several orders of magnitude without any kind of cap is a bit of a curve ball. Shouldn't the bulk of one's resource generation in the end-game come from upgraded buildings meant to extract those resources (e.g. extractors), not a structure meant to convert one resource type to another?
Specifically, the current state seems to allow a T1 to generate 22.5 fuel / 24hr from an end-game fuel extractor, but when augmented by uncapped converters that number goes up by like 112.5 (like a 500% increase). We understand that T1's take longer to progress but whether it's weeks or months a diligent land owner will eventually reach end-game with their land (and it will probably take a few months to get mass adoption anyway).
value is not fuel
As a silly example if T4 produced 40x Fuel, but T1 produced 1000 BPs a year vs T4 producing 1 I assume you wouldn't be happy!
also pretty sure that was said far after the sale
During the sale simple scarcity/rarity was a major factor in the pricing, as it was in a time when NFT market was booming (noting that the overall crypto market was starting to turn downwards)
Also you misunderstand converters, they are capped in time like everything else. i.e. There is a max production per unit of time.
I should clarify I agree with @dire pier in that I don’t expect T4’s to generate 40x the fuel of a T1. Even 20-30x seems acceptable, but 10-15x is hard to stomach, especially when it seems like most people bought T4’s in pursuit of greater fuel generation (since it's the land that has the landmark that boosts fuel production). In fact it seems less practical to use T4's to farm blueprints given that they’re so much more cluttered than T1’s from all the sites
So we have you arguing vehemently that T4s are no good and T1s are better value, on the other side we have people arguing that T1s are no good and should be made more like higher tiers (a lot more of them actually).
So maybe the reality is there are many factors that make up value, and although we don't know if we have got it right, maybe seeing how it plays out (with some minor tweaks) is a good starting point.
But in a game where the perceived objective is to generate fuel for the Overworld, I would correlate fuel pretty closely with value. That's also what was primarily led with in the land sale graphic, X sites, X production boost, etc., and that was like all the community needed to make their decisions on what to buy
Also T4 owners are the minority so there will always be more voices advocating for T1 I think
Even if T4 owners paid way more and made decisions to buy into the minority
I've already explained why the simple raw Fuel production numbers are not the the only factor, even if you exlcude things like Blueprints which add value in other ways. Not that we should exclude them.
Yes there are blueprints and such, but the whole proposition in a T4 with more sites, production boost, and landmarks for boosting fuel makes one think it's like specialized for fuel.
So for a T1 to be able to spam their land with converters that gives them like a 500% boost to fuel production is just surprising
I disagree with the release date of ilv zero? Anything we can do about that?
For sure, everyone is different. Take illuvitars for example. Some people think they're useless others want the whole set. Imagine if we had people trying to collect every skin!
Again, you can make a rationale sounding argument in both directions. And I've already said we do want to tweak a little, but changes can very easily become become very punishing to T1 players.
I'm happy with the ~ 15x target, as I expect all of the other factors will offset that giving us a final value in the 30-40x range.
And if they don't we can adjust. Its a lot easier to adjust by giving people something more rather than by taking something away.
Thanks. I don't know if I'm misunderstanding you, but I really can't see a world where a T4 generates 15x fuel but somehow other things make it worth 30-40x, especially when the primary commodity being produced by the land is fuel. But like you said it's best to revisit this when things are further along and maybe get an ICCP going after launch. Appreciate your inputs.
15x raw Fuel production.
You personally value raw Fuel production. So you can make a very rationale argument for boosting raw production. But for others speed of development might be a major factor/the short term hit of slow production speed might be a major factor. Blueprints might be a major factor. The impact on megacities might be a major factor.
In a bear market, scarcity could mean more than all of them combined.
Yeah.. I'd be curious to poll T4 owners to see how many of them bought with raw fuel production in mind haha. Anyways, thoughts for another time perhaps..
Sure, I'm not saying I'm right, but I have to look at all the factors and the views of all the holders. Its a balancing act, and I think the balance is looking okay right now. But maybe its not and we will update.
From my perspective there is hardly anything else that is true "value" differentiation in T4 v T1 other than fuel production, and I'd thought others buying T4's mostly felt the same but could be wrong. Time/effort can always eventually bridge the early progression gap, and T1's seem to be more favorable for farming blueprints (again could be wrong)
I do think an ICCP closer to release date with some of these key game balance goal targets is important.
Yeah, I get what you're saying. I appreciate the efforts and input, thanks
This is the attitude that kills future spending. Obviously there are more ppl arguing for t1's.. more people own t1's. Greed fks everything and even the most helpful ppl here (lana) put out shit/miscalculated data on purpose to push their agenda, then claim oops i didnt mean to multiply by 10 my mistake. Thats ridiculous, but expected. DAO's really make little sense. How can you design a game based on the loud majority of greed driven holders who have no clue about balance etc. Listen to the majority is fine but i'll be here telling everyone how i spent 200k on land and megacities and got fk'd in the ass by dev's who say one thing and do another
"I do think an ICCP closer to release date with some of these key game balance goal targets is important."
its not that this can't ever be changed, but the council isn't going to change something on a whim
if there is a strong sentiment that something is wrong then change will come
Not really when the ICCP process favors the majority and there are only 3 of us still around who care about our t4's
(I'm also looking at proposing an IIP for IIP/ICCP that are more 'sticky' than the norm, requiring multiple council epochs to vote to change them)
at which point the game would be dead, and any consideration for value would be moot 😛
Me and spoon have been the only ppl arguing for t4s for months and we both gave up since we arent mentally ill
maybe the other holders are satisfied?
Uh huh
They paid 40x.. many far more than that, and are getting 10x of value.. no one would be satisfied with that. They all checked out long ago
Lol idk I sure wouldn't be satisfied if things stayed this way 😂 Sorry I've been away a bit lately so haven't been as engaged/in the loop
You know how many ppl are playing their t4s actively
I think most T4 owners aren't aware of the extent in which you can min/max a T1
Yeah lets just wilfully ignore everything I just said and focus on just one value.
I'll say it one last time, just because you choose to ignore the other valuable things about T4, it doesn't mean they don't exist.
You're the only antagonizing us. Go back and read everything you said after the long post, you are saying majority wins and there is no need to balance based on price if t4 wont speak up and t1 will
I dont care not letting myself get worked up about this again but appreciate your time and honesty
That is not what I said. I said there are a multitude of voices and factors that all need to be considered. And just becasue YOU and 2 other people are unhappy with something it doesn't mean we make a dramatic change.
Exactly, which is why something that is objectively fucked wont get changed.
There is always that chance that the council elected by the ILV holders vote a certian away that impacts you. There is ltierally nothing I can do about that.
(Other than the IIP I'm looking to propsoe to make certain decisions more sticky)
Just curious on that note, was there any vote to begin with that determined the beginning raw value goals of 10-15x for T4 vs. T1? I guess what confuses me is like the land sale info very clearly implies a specific fuel production value, and we come to find the team had a different starting value in mind that's way different from that
So if your argument is this is a DAO and they can change stuff, then Yes, I agree, that is a risk. All I can say is that the risk existed before your purchase.
I don't see any resolution coming right here right now. The best thing you can do is air out your grievances, make sure the right people hear them, and then wait and see how it plays out once the game releases. Then see if there are still inconsistencies, and see if the team changes them.
I'm all the way in the Blueprints camp, and I was not satisfied at all with the things I was led to believe during the dutch auction, and how nobody took ownership of it, and how some mods told me it was my fault for believing it. BUT, I have faith it will get figured out soon after we go live. It's still super early. If it doesn't, people will dump. Simple cause/effect.
If your argument is 10:1 raw Fuel producion is too low of a ratio for T4:T1, I agree. Which is why I'm suggesting a target of around 15:1.
If your argument is that raw Fuel production stats are the only thing that make up value, then I strongly disagree for all the reasons I noted.
But like I think that the info graphic and land sale basically implied a 27:1+ fuel production value (9 sites vs 1, 300% boost, AND fuel landmark). That's where the issue lies is how we go from 27-30+ to 15:1
If your argument is that 15:1 + these differences isn't enough to make T4 around 30-40x more valuable.... you might be right. But I think its close enough to wait and see, particularly because boosting is a lot easier to do than reducing.
Literally everyone I know was making decisions based on fuel production, and I know quite a few people with T4's (who simply don't know these nuances yet) - AFAIK
My argument is that you should take ownership of your comments prior to landsale. If you advertise 40x value, explicitly say that you will balance lands according to prices, then come back here and say lol you believed me, sorry about that, but look at everyone i didnt fk over.. i mean.. seriously..
Plus t4 don't have to dedicate the time that a person with the t1 have to and time is money
Around the time of sale, there were many conversations about value, and scarcity/rarity was a major part of them.
15:1 is fine with me
Not to mention game designs change, community ideas change. There's nothing I can do about that other than argue for what I think is correct.
I try to say very regularly that "this is an idea", "this can be overruled by IIP", "this is a proposal", etc, etc.
In the end I'm pushing for a game balancing goal of the market value of t4:t1 should aim to reflect the initial investment ratio (at least for some period of time... I think having this as an ongoing long term goal with constant changes to achieve this is probably not ideal... and if things blow up would majorly hurt T4 owners)
If they don't want their t4 they can always just give it to me lol
If you don't think this is fair then see original message (raise your own ICCP).
Alright I'm out. Final words, I (and the team) are trying very hard to balance all these factors and ensure everyone comes out feeling like they have the value they deserve. Keep voicing your thoughts, if you don't voice them then we wont know about them. In the end having a great game, and a great Illuvium ecosystem, will make all lands highly desirable.
Regardless of what people own, I think we share the same goal. Once the game is released we will see how secondary markets react. T4 prices plummeting compared to others would be bad for everyone.
As someone who plays 15 plots, I can tell you having a single plot replace that fuel output in a 15:1 scenario would be worth far more than the base value of those 15 for the time and effort it would save, not to mention opportunity to boost lower tier land output via mega city.
Yeah, time is a real thing, especially when you'll be doing this daily. Most of us don't have infinite time in our day.
Q4 2023
tl:dr: T4 owners going to be nerfed. Started being x40 times more expensive than t1 during the sale (due to proportional production) to end up only x14 time more productive when the game launches.
People forget that Zero apart from a building game is a pvp game too. You have to beat other land owners to be more efficient and produce more fuel/blueprints.
how many different blueprints do you have?
- Each plot only has a total of 15 different blueprints. They are the same on every plot but the more plots you have the more copies you will end up with
I see, thanks. Then the blueprints will not be scarce, many players will have the same so not a lot of value collecting them before the open beta when there should be much more variety of blueprints.
We don’t what the value of the blueprints will be or how many will end up being minted at this stage. The current version of Zero allows us to figure out how to play the game and to help test for bugs and for feedback. The blueprints are just a bit of an enticer. After open beta you will be able to collect a much wide rage of blueprints and higher tier blueprints.
There might be at least one person going for every skin.
We'll see if it's viable as a goal though...
5-10$/blueprint
Hello guys
It has been months I haven't played Illuvium 0
Can we now play for real with our land and generate blueprints ?
I mean in a real marketplace
We can currently find 15 different blueprints, but we can't mint them yet. We will have the option before beta starts though.
But the marketplace for Blueprints and Fuel isn't online yet.
Hey guys just dropping my 2 cents here as a land holder also (for the record I own a few plots – not T1s and not T4s):
1. Personally I think converters overcomplicates things in terms of balancing and provide the opportunity of botting/‘fuel farms’. I don't like seeing 'strategies' that take advantage of a system and that’s how it feels when I see plots full of converters and power stations – it just kills the spirit of the game and what land should be imo. Land should be carefully planned, each square of land precious – I either place a path to enhance production time or place another building etc
a. as a fix I would remove the converter building from the game and make conversion like a marketplace feature where you can turn on/off automated conversion of fuel/element for a 1:1 ratio in X amount of time
b. or converters shouldn’t be able to passively produce fuel and only convert at a 1:1 ratio - fuel/element sites should be the most important thing when it comes to production (as I also understood at the time of the land sale)
2. The same thing goes for scanners and ‘blueprint farms’ – imo placing 5-10+ scanners clumped together should drop their efficiency to 0% and not 50% - this again feels like taking advantage of the system and defeats the joy of getting some biodata every now and then using normal carefully planned/placed scanners.
I’m not saying people shouldn't be allowed to build their plot as they wish but it shouldn’t be in a way that provides advantages or make an X Tier plot outproduce the next tier.
This way land would gain value and people will realize more easily the ‘hidden gem’ in each plot – rare balanced plots will be very sought after, plots with space for scanners, proper element distribution vs fuel (ex: 3 Crypton sites without any Carbon on the plot) etc
@amber atlas @unborn pilot @timber glacier @radiant sky - sorry if i left out other people that were part of the debate
Ok thank you
So we are still in first stage right ?
I can remember there were a second stage just before the last stage where Ilv0 goes live
At the end of stage 1 land would be erased
Yes, we're currently in the stage where we can find the early blueprints.
Next stage would be minting of these blueprints.
Then after that there will be a full reset of every plot and Beta goes live.
For both of these in Open Beta there will be a more marked (negative) effect of 'clumped together stuff'. The scanner case was discussed quite thoroughly a while back(I think it was pinned, not sure).
The primary purpose of converters originally was to be passive generators. But I totally disagree that they are gainst the spirit of the game. They require more careful placement than sites (which literally can't be placed), kind of the opposite of what you are saying.
You are supposed to be building an industrial complex so lots of power stations and converters in specific optimal patterns is very much in line with this 'feel'.
I would like this to be a little more challenging (so there is more 'micro game'), and some power station and path changes along with the increased negative effects will hopefully move us a little closer to that ideal.
I think one thing that needs to be considered is this is the very first cut, where there is only a limited number of structures, as more structures and features come in there's going to be a lot more interesting decisions about how to set up your land.
( + @grizzled jay + @spring mist )
Also:
"This way land would gain value and people will realize more easily the ‘hidden gem’ in each plot – rare balanced plots will be very sought after, plots with space for scanners, proper element distribution vs fuel (ex: 3 Crypton sites without any Carbon on the plot) etc" ->
This is a great point and let me be very clear this kind of differentation (based on direction rather than value) is absolutely the intent, it does exist in a limited fashion right now if you delve in to the details (less markedly on lower tiers where there is a lot of space). But this is an angle I would definitely like to push further as we introduce new stuff.
But we really need more stuff to be able to drive this home. Currently there is only Fuel focused, Blueprint focussed (and maybe aesthetic focussed once you have access to all Illuvials and we start allowing people to show off trophies from Arena 😉 ).
Well I don't think (feel 😄 ) they require careful placement if you can just spam power stations - but my mistake as i missed the 'more marked (negative) effect of clumped together stuff'. Glad to see it happening!
And sorry if you misunderstood - I didn't say converters and/or power stations defeat the spirit of the game but the 'strategies' they allow
Just to elaborate on the first point (@amber atlas correct me if I'm wrong here), in the beta the converter passive timers will be affected by the efficiency of the building. Meaning at 50% it will take twice as long for passive production. This on it's own might push towards placing buildings more efficiently as opposed to just filling your plot with as many converters as possible.
There's also some changes planned for power stations, so the beta will be quite different from the current version.
Even in the current state you still need to spam those power stations and converters in the correct pattern to optimise.
I think the main problem comes back to variety. There's currently only a few ways to set up a plot to be optimal (one for blueprints, one for Fuel, and I guess theoretically a continuum between... but probably better to just say mixed).
But focus now is get the current state (with the tweaks and minor system updates) done. Get it out. Then we can start to think about how to make some new exciting features.
Also love to see it go in this direction and yes it does exist but not many people notice it
We are totally aligned here, its really just about current focus (release) vs future plans (expand).
Output not timers, unless DmitriyR said otherwise.
(on that note, I am preparing a weekly (two weeks to be fair) tech update, things have been a bit crazy and I haven't had the time to focus on writing all of this down)
definitely outputs here, not timers indeed
Just to be clear Julien and Dmitriy own the day to day decisions about IZ now 🙂
I must be misremembering then
But output is already affected, that's why I'm sure I've seen the timers being mentioned as a change
There were some specific timer cases that felt a bit weird due to rounding issues maybe thats the confusion.
In the end a timer change is the same as a value change. Rounding erros aside producing 10 Fuel in 1 hour is very very similar to producing 20 Fuel in 2 hours.
So there's really no need to change the timer based on efficiency, you would just make the efficiency affect on value more marked.
Anyway I need to head off, ciao folks!
Thanks for all the techupdstes Julien, they are very much appreciated.
Bi weekly would be more than enough imo.
Could be. Can't seem to find the original post now, but thanks for clearing things up.
I might be confusing it with the idea of add-ons, where you could influence the speed and output of production buildings
(got the time to write the tech update, syncing with our social media team for twitter/x reasons, so expect it later today here)
(was expecting it to be short but it's actually a fairly big chungus of an update)
(look at me hyping stuff)
Always a nice back read when you are talking about the bigger picture 🙂
Aprecciate you taking time... again... for concerns of Illuviums Landlords if it comes to value ratios between the tiers.
I totally agree with fuel output not equal to total value and that other stuff adds value aswell.
i agree time is a factor if it comes to new large upgrades/features.
i don't feel megacities should taken place into that calculation due to the fact that people paid most likely a premium on those plots and will in future pay even a way bigger premium
iccp 13, which is now at the stage of council voting, will make it pretty much impossible to snipe MC's in a big landsale with different wallets. They now have to go over secondary market.
As an example they guy who sniped my t1, because his click was unluckily faster, want's 18 eth for a t1. Sure some will get lucky and don't have to pay such a premium, but others will be even unluckier and have to deal with a guy who wants 20, 30 eth.
So mc's will get that scarce or that expensive, they shouldn't have a massive weight in balancing value ratios imo.
Blueprints is not really possible, at least for me, to estimate their value.
I don't know how in pvp it will look like, but i guess ranger and mozart won't be much more in focus, so the value will probably be low until there is another pvp element where ranger and mozart get more attention.
(I can totally see the battleboard skins out of IB skyrocketing, since they have scarcity and probably a small pool of holders)
Possible future features also shouldn't count into the calculation, except they are just arround the corner.
Because they are not implemented now, and no one knows when they come... and if they come, you still can balance stuff with a patch when you guys bring them into the game.
So for my POV its just BP + Fuel + Building time which should get a weight in value ratios for open beta launch.
And I just feel that fuel gets a too low weight in those calculations.
Any land owners looking to lend out their lands?
check out polemos guild #899655780033261639
the only one i remember 😅
ARe lands mostly held by guilds?
I don't know, but i would say no.
for now there are arround 7k wallets holding lands, doubt they are mostly in hands of guilds.
but the ones being lend out, probably yes... since there are a ton of wallets holding just a couple of lands which probably are being paid by their owners themself
time to buy some cheap T4s
ok and those owners, they're not interested in lending out lands to players 🙂
For wallets with 2 Land probably not really, they bought for themself to ejoy the gameplay and to pay for their ow Runs.
But idk, maybe there are some
hm ok
and the only way to lend would be to use this account sharing system that the guilds and polemos use?
there is no rental platform or anything at the moment right?
For now i guess so.
Yes, i don't know about any platform existing right now.
Would that make sense for the game you think?
If you sign up on Polemos they will send you login data via discord/email and you can play whenever you want
yes - you need to be approved first right?
I mean, if you develope such a platform and always get your Cut, probably.
I can't estimate how mich work you have to put in for that and how mich you can take Profits.
yes, but you only fill out a form about how much you play/your email
yeah i was more thinking whether it makes sense that such a platform exists for the game (is this in the game's interest)
yes, because more people would play + more transactions would be made
Just for Land as it is right now, probably not.
For illuvials, Kind of Like the whole Decks renting out, probably yes.
Like sleqh said, more people playing whales Make more transactions, people get addicted and Start Building their own Decks... etc.
interesting
Do Illuvials have utility today tho? Can you play?
Keep in mind, thats just my opinion.
You can play in Beta now for testing purposes, but there will be a Progress wipe, so everybody starts at 0 when open Beta launches.
How many land tiers of each is available?
Thanks
What was the mint price ?
Really?
Si senor
So it's for super special discounted prices
Sheshhh
After all this time I decided to join in the right time
Lfg
Congratz 😂😛
Hello
Sorry to bother, long time I did not checked the server.
Is there anything new for Illuvium 0 ? I grabbed all the Blueprints some weeks ago.
I don't see any announcement on when will be the end of testing phase.
Any news I missed or to come ?
Thanks a lot
No, missed not much probably.
Maybe the Info that you need to built a Zero Point Transducer in Order to be able to mint your blueprints.
Date for End of s1 hasn't been announced yet
Hey been a while since i interacted here, was just wondering is this a good time to sell land, a T2 plot, for a few months the price just been going down
I wonder how many land holders are going to forget to do this.
Oh yes probably missed it
Need just one on each plot ?
I guess there will be an announcement when it's all fix
Yes, 1 on every plot you want to mint.
And then when do we execute on the transducer? Now, or when we're told?
The minting window is not now. It will be announced later.
Illuvium Zero Tech Update [08/1407 - 08/25]
Hello everyone, let's go for a game and tech update!
First of all, my apologies for missing out last week, I was off and didn't get the opportunity to write all of our work down. That also means we've been moving a lot on features for the beta:
- we're introducing a whole new layer of gameplay regarding plants, with stages to make them grow and offer more rewards for the patience. This also includes a new building called the Podarium that will bring in functionality with Morphopods. Theodor has been working hard on introducing this to the beta, and while it's still in progress, the goal is to not consider these plants as solely obstacles. I won't be revealing all of these features today but get your farmer hats is what I can say.
- talking about goals, we're introducing quite a few quality of life features, like the "Go" feature that Matt has been implementing in the last two weeks: don't know what you need to do to accomplish a specific goal? Fret not as now you can get clear indications of what gameplay features are involved, with UI redirection! This is part of a bigger task to ease early game for new and returning players alike, that will end up in a true tutorial. This is something that we've been hiding in plain sight via main goals, but it needs a better form and more QoL. Tutorials are actually hard to make right, so this is still very WIP.
- backend is moving faster and faster as Igor integrates more APIs to secure our server authority architecture. At the moment we're focusing on the structure aspect, making it as fluid as possible for the players. We're also working closely on activities, and the backend side team is growing to allow us to ship more efficiently for our beta target. I'm assisting him with client integration and learning the ways of the fullstack dev, we're all in this together!
- another subject that I've been working on has been Play Store publishing for Android. The biggest challenge we are facing with the alpha is application size, but this is something we took into account months ago while starting development on the beta client. What this means for you is that initial download of the game is going to be way lighter, and only the required resources will be downloaded on demand to your device. As previously stated, the overall size with all assets has been greatly reduced, that should greatly help with players on low speed connection.
- the follow-up to this Play Store app is builders and in app purchases: we are changing how credits are rewarded, and how builders are obtained from our original vision. Overall you can expect it to be simpler to posess multiple builders on your plot, which will considerably speed up construction activities. Of course other platforms will also have these features, but the form is still being worked on.
Like previous weeks, these two weeks have been very tech focused, so there's not much visual leak to go by unfortunately. I still hope the gameplay leaks are good news as we make the game deeper and richer, with more interesting strategies.
Thank you everyone for your patience as we continue beta development 🙏
As always, thanks so much for these updates! Could there be another IZ Alpha build before Open Beta so that we can help with testing these features and offer feedback? And also, can you offer any update on the ability to zoom out to full plot view?
Great update! Thank you! Can't wait to try out the new building
I also have a quick one - will building rotation be possible in the near future?
New gameplay in ilv0!!!!! Best news of the year all other ilv games...can't wait! I Hope it will go on upgrading gameplay😉
thanks🍾
i am new here and a new land holder, what are these blueprints i keep hearing about and how do i obtain them?
Nice, welcome! How'd you make it here?
I used the Internet to get here
Any word on when minting for blueprints will begin?
Not yet
Thanks mate
okay goated feature to help ngu
Have the ability to auto-convert eth earned from IZ into ILV
and stake it too 👀
😮 What does 'These changes are coming to other platforms, too, but the design is a work in progress.' meannnn!!????
So exciting
Hello everyone
heyyyy
just sniped 15 disk, wish me luck
#🎮〕illuvium-beyond please for illuvitar/D1sks talk.
mmk
It would be a good thing if the income from the sale of fuel could be reconverted into staked ILV at a premium.
Hi there. Will someone remind me where I can see my land on illuvidex?
On your profile top right
and to do that, you takes the ilv from where ?
(rememeber it s not a token like many where you can create billion out of thin air, there is a fixed amount wich is in defferent wallets, contract ...)
so that? You don't realize that less and less money is being staked, that people extract their tokens once the vesting period has ended.
Where would it be drawn from? Well, making periodic purchases in the market or at the moment of selling the fuel.
Otherwise they are resources going out of Illuvium.
imx explorer "google search"
Are the blueprints already mintable?
No. And when they will be able to be minted has not been announced
thank yo ser
where can i buy land only on illuvidex ?
Any IMX marketplace, they're all linked to the same orderbook
Illuvidex has the lowest fees though
thanks
much love
When can we expect the next wipe on ILZ?
Thank you! Cant wait! No more wipes after that data wipe right?
yes, it's the last
is it already possible to mint blueprints?
At the end of this season... no date announced yet
Shouldn't power stations only apply during accrual of resources not upon collection? So you can't just move them around and have 3 power stations for your entire plot. I believe it already works that way for passive resource generation just not active collection right?
As far as i remember, you can do that Hack for active conversion, but it doesn't apply to passive output of converters
Yeah that's what I'm talking about. Like shouldn't it be fixed even for active conversion or mining/extracting etc?
Seems to create lots of loopholes
Yea, most likely going to change
there was discussion on that changing
Need…more…land….
Last I saw was that in beta it'll count the average efficiency during the production time rather than just using the efficiency value at the time of collection
ok thx
anyone one know what the zero point transducer is for?
You'll need it to mint your blueprints
somehow the nexus can be only 5 tiles away from a scanner without reducing its efficiency, is that intended?
Does the Nexus have an effect on anything's efficiency I wonder?
Really? So it can be closer than other structures?
heared the first time, and my nexuses need to be 6 tiles away, pls report bug.

haha lol... just checked... 1 side is buggy
nice, finding those late season bugs
If you have 0.45 eth. Would you get a Land T2 floor or 17.45 ILV (stake)?
depends if you want to play with your investment or just sit on it
If I want to just sit on it.. so would say get the ILV staked?
Hey just wanted to double check, the blueprints in alpha for ilv zero are 100% exclusive to only the duration of alpha right? @amber atlas @spring mist
Pretty sure they confirmed that it wasnt
No they aren't. They were intended as a small bonus for helping us test and making them exclusive has some run on effects (for example getting a stage II item requires you get the stage I item... so this would rule out the whole tree of each item for non-Alpha players). That said I know some council members were talking of doing something to make things a little more rewarding. Nothing has been proposed yet but stay tuned.
Can you please look at the iip I have posted and make a few comments to clarify this topic in the discussion. The vote has passed but I would love your thoughts as I will be revising the document before sending it through sub councils. Iip xx
No strong opinion, I'd like to do things a bit more tied to the game, rather than somewhat arbitrary rewards. I can't comment on effrot for art team. Dev tam effort would be minimal.
Would you mind if I screenshot this response to put into iip as several people have raised this question and would like the response to be from the horses mouth so to speak
Or you can comment there if you wish
its not a vote 🙂 but sure you can paste it/link here
No need for a vote as it has already passed. I just want to make sure that anything that I propose now in the revised version has taken into consideration both team and community and council input
yes the one side is buggy (the upper left)
Weird... tried two plots and was both Times the right side
Hey fam, any good videos for ideas on placement of buildings?
Hello
I have a lot of troubles since like 2 months with the game crashing randomly on Windows, with my progress not saving which is very frustrating.
I just came back from my holidays and test the new version of the game and it's worse : I can log in, enter a plot, do 3/4 things, and then, randomly, on a click, the loading page appears and nothing happens.
I have to quit and relaunch the game, login again, to see none of my progress have been saved.
I can't build anything and can't progress, it's totally annoying
I have already opened a ticket months ago, with some replies, but nothing have been fixed. A friend have similar issues.
My computer attributes are high enough to support the game, so I am quite worried for the weeks to come
@lethal valley
How I play in Android plz told me guys
You need a land plot to play illuvium zero on Android.
Need investment? Or it's free?
Right now we are in private alpha. With a land plot required. So yes. You need to buy one. When public beta starts we have a free 2 play land plot.
When I'll get free plot?
When public beta starts in Q4
mh now it does not work on my plot anymore xD
Definition netly something weird going on. 🙂
If you could create a bug report, will help us be across it #❓❓〕support
Has there been anymore discussion on mega city shapes? I know 2x2 and 3x3 are the current shapes, but will there be options to add land to those to allow for bonuses?
Per a townhall with Aaron, it really doesn't sound like it. I think he has other ideas in the works that will require square megacities only.
The game gets stuck fetching profile when starting up. I have cleared cache in regedit and reinstalled, but this didn’t make a difference. Anyone have any other tricks? I’ve already filed a bug report
Support team will email you.
Hi all. Is there any documentation on facts to blueprints? ie I have 3 Atlas facts and 3 blueprints. Have been scanning and researching for 3 weeks and nothing new since. Is there a max of 3 facts and blueprints per Illuvial per plot or have I just been unlucky? This seems to be across all my plots and all Illuvials - haven't got more than 3 facts and blueprints per Illuvial...?
You are terrible boy. You have to scan 5 biodata. And with the secondary scanner you have to scan 3 times for each biodata. If you have already found 3 atlases, do not search for an atlas again because it will not work for you. If you have 2 chickens, you have to scan a chicken again until it comes out.
no. only
4x4 or 3x3
Fuel Guardrail....Horrible
Haha yea, kind of funny talking about "free Market" and introducing a top rail at the same time.
To me Landsales is an even bigger no
A big no !! 🫸
More Land sales were always going to be a thing… eventually.
Training wheels will come off eventually.
Sorry degens.
There was a time when it wasn't even set to sell all Land... where landowners could Profit for a Long time before they get diluted.
Beside that, megacities will become expensive af on secondary and probably won't be a Big thing since they can't be sniped AT a Big Sale and get so rare, which is really sad in my opinion. The dao will Face a decreased Profit because premium of megacities is going to be paid in secondary and not on Landsale.
When was that?
I don't really See any advantage of doing it that Way.
Even fuel balancing isn't a Big impact since These plots need to build up a Base and have no interest in selling fuel for months
Until this proposal came from Any
Aaron stated it Long time ago, and it was never denied from anybody else of the team
My understanding has always been next land sale like 1 year after public launch. 4+ months after public launch in small batches is not much different than selling 5k, 10k, or even 20k in 12 months. But yeah it is a bit different
Source?
I haven't Seen any Team member posting estimates about Next landsale, except Aaron "won't happen for a Long time"
I’m not going to find a source. I’ll just say I’m wrong.
Ok
Hoping to get this small change to the Marketplace. In "Uplink Offers" are also the ones you've previously accepted and now are just there to collect. But, thats not what you're looking for. You want to accept new offers. And with everything looking so similiar, once in a while you click Collect on a resource you didn't want to Collect on, but wanted it to just sit there for another day until you have the space for it. Maybe a third tab that says "Completed". Then all the finished trades can go under there and prevent confusion. Thanks.
No, you're right, it was always planned to have more land sales (4x20k)
Yeah, I remember him saying that in interviews. Also Kieran saying they will wait for next sale until original land owners where on profit/profitable.
But couldn’t a IIP vote change all that?
Well if you want to destroy the land prices and trust of people buying lands... yes
What will be the position for the big guilds who bought hundreds of lands and see their value being diluted? will they buy again?
But it is possible
I think this is the fear with land
everything is possible, but if you want the project to last it needs to be serious and professional.
I have been a land owner since the beginning and was pretty comfortable with the plans that were set, but lately I have been having my reservations because of how things have been transpiring.
Unless fuel is super expensive, always in the top price range, I don't see the positive value of a new land sale.
I just pray the DAO has a limit to what it can change to the heart of the game.
It shouldn’t be money over fun
Just my 2 cents
I am out of the loop with all the continuous delays, but what are the comments/positions from the Guilds that bought hundreds of lands?
It was heated you have to scroll back
I’ve not seen many official stances from big guilds. There are plenty of opinions from plenty of people though.
The dao can pretty much change anything they want.
Obviously the "core" of what illuvium intended to be from Start on will most likely stay, at least for the short term since pretty much everybody including council got hooked by that idea.
No doubt, but as you have said short term. But Johnny did say he had plans to put things in place to make it harder to change major things within zero.
OK, must have missed that
Thanks for the heads up in this channel about the IIP, appreciate it. Hopefully we see a lot of land owners over there voting on it.
we might be headed to where a council member might need to hold land & ILV so as to not be biased when creating/voting on IIPs imo
im not the smartest guy, but just my observation
Is minting blue prints available yet
no
Thx
@vivid cipher appreciate u being a walking FAQ.. just want to make sure i understand correctly.. all 3 games are on track to be released before end of this year? like a real life launch? thats my understanding currently. if so, how are people not more bullish here? just beat down emotionally from the prices.. but to me that seems like we're finally almost ready for mainstream adoption.. am i somehow missing something big here? or why are people not MORE optimistic? hoping to understand

Probably because overpromising many times before and never deliver on time. Game was originally for end of 2021 , then 2022... and still waiting...
will they finally deliver in Q4 23... who knows!
yes i was around then too, but how I',m thinking about it now is if the deadline is basically 4 months or less now, taht is much tigher than trying to forecast 12 months away or whatever
but i also worry endless scope creep
i havent followed as closely as i did in the last year compared to 2021, but is their more belief its finally almost ready (knock on wood)?
Right now we hit the last goals on the roadmap in time. And pvp should be coming this month. I guess this will hype people up for public beta in Q4. Everything is still on track.
cool, and public beta is mainnet release (like same thing just different vernacular?)
Yes public beta is connected with Blockchain.
I don't like to call it full launch because some of the regions are coming later and maybe other features.
ok cool
@celest wagon @radiant sky Mind elaborating what you feel is negative about the guardrail?
I don't speak English... It's a disguised way to set a fixed price.. A disguised way to make us believe that it's a free market
We enter the crypto system for the freedom of our choices
Big traps for setting a low price = Fixed price
Everyone thinks that Web 2 will arrive when the game comes out but I'm sure you'll just have people from Web 3 for the first year so it gives the market time to find the right prices
For the Dutch auction it went very well
We have not decided on a price not to be exceeded 'and for me it remains one of the best ways to find the real prices of fuel for which we are going to devalue fuel' (the entire illuvium ecosystem)
we don't want to be like pokemon attracted only children with 10 cent fuel ?
Buy atlases for 2 cents😭😭
The problem with having an uncapped free market is that once the prices go prohibitively high for the majority of the playerbase, they will leave. And getting them back once prices go down will be a lot more difficult, since they have no guarantee it won't happen again.
With a guardrail in place, you ensure that the game ecosystem is always functional at a predetermined max cost, which is more likely to keep a majority of the playerbase active.
As I understand it, the intention is that the guardrail isn't supposed to be reached frequently or at all, it's supposed to give us an indication that the game's ecosystem is reaching it's maximum sustainability.
Once we reach that point you have 2 options:
- Limit the playerbase to the ones with the bigger wallets that can afford fuel at increasingly high prices, and run the risk of killing the game economy entierly.
- Limit the revenue for fuel sellers, but maintain a stable game ecosystem until fuel production can be increased (either via adjustments to current plots of by more land sales).
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this.
If he gives a price that we cannot reach, okay, but he validates the guardrail for you before giving us the prices
Nobody knows the value of fuel how you want to decide on the guardrail
If you accept the guardrail without knowing the prices before you get fucked ?
If everyone is afraid then decide on a fixed price for fuel but don't pretend it's a free market
The laws of the market and the best option for me if you start to control everything 'I find that it is much less interesting
When the prices go crazy just play the free game and capture the illuvial t0
