My t2 is making blueprint but I donāt even have a scanner on my t1s lol.
That said I saved up two years to buy land. I bought 1 t2 through the ilv trick at the time(not the case today) and two t1s.

however, there is likely opportunity in the first few days to take advantage of lack of arbitrage, price discovery etc
if you make the right bet, exploit the game economy the right way, you will benefit.. as is always the case in new games
but that chance is equal between a person producing mass fuel through a t4 and a person with an eth wallet buying it up

Somebody who buys $10 worth of fuel has exactly the same value / utility as somebody who makes $10 worth of fuel.
the only benefit they get is the 33% boost.. so they end up around 1.3, maybe 1.5:1 vs a t1.. when they paid 5x.. sucks for them.. maybe the extra 2 fuel sites drag it up to.. what? 2:1?

You are igonoring other variables. People that had ETH to buy fuel must spend their time to play overworld for a change to make some profit. Assuming you have a very high level land producing lot of fuels, the time you will spend in that land to produce and receive the incomes for that fuel sale is almost none compared to the overworld player that is buying it to catch illuvials. You, the land farmer in that scenario is doing much less effort and spending less time to receive the income/profit than the overworld player. So it's not fair to compare both situations equally.

Keep in mind it may show efficiency at 150% but could be 149.9%. In last season I found that no matter what I did (I get it to 150% then add another power plant) It would not round up on a T1. So far at level 1 and 2 on my T1 it is rounding up. But now it is not giving me the rounding up on T2. Tested by going to 150% then adding an extra power plant.

you do not understand a simple thing. If you nerf the converters, nobody will wait 2 months to make a building. so you will end up with 60% of the player base selling their land as fast as they can and exit the game. in this situation your land, fuel and everything will decrease it's value extremely fast. And you will be the one who will have the most to lose by trying to punish T1 players

Does anyone has the final version of how the fuel market will work and how DAO would do intervention on it. As I remember, it would not be a free market at all. DAO would provide % of all fuel demand or something to avoid price manipulation/pumps/dumps, at least while the market is not spread and stabilized

First of all, i guess the majority of player play 1 game, and don't really care what is happening in others. People often have fun in their favorite genre, sure they sometimes play another genre aswell, but will focus on 1.

i think the best approach is balance the game around the t1's, have ways for a t1 to be as productive as a t4 but sell that through the in game store
It's just the first few days until you get to the point where upgrades take very long and everything requires fuel that you don't have enough of. At that point it's just an hour or two per day at most.

Those people will sell their lands and new people will buy who donāt have those preconceptions.
In the end you end up with T1 owners who enjoy p2e on their T1s.

the hardcap is usually done in these games by making them idlers. ILV zero at the end state is pretty much an idler
If you look at the big picture and assuming the more success the game has (the bigger the player base) the more the assets value raises it makes sense. The question with where the money is coming from it is good. The only way I see it is by tournaments with entry fee in the battle game.
In this way people are bringing money in the game
Yeah, I usually fill up storage completely while waiting for fuel to be produced. It's my least favourite part of the game.

axie was super toxic to the whole industry and it will take a long time for people to forget play to earn and be happy with being able to quit a game and sell their skins, land, items whatever
that's the real benefit to blockchain gaming. the rest of it is as much a ponzi as .. well ya not getting into that
play to earn is selling your time in the hope that someone else values their time at a value higher than you value your own, or that your skill in the game creates a multiplicative factor on your own value of time
and that they are willing to buy your time (the asset you generate through your land, skill in overworld, whatever)
it doesn't need to exist for a blockchain game to be good.. nothing in illuvium needs to be play to earn

You don't need to upgrade it (Upgrades only give the chance to find higher tier illuvials, which currently does not exist)
Data Bank is optional (It currently only boosts Lab efficiency)
I think how there is a glitch, this is second time how I found 3 facts from 3 tries, last time I got 3 blueprints in a row with same 3labs, Odds for something like that happening is extremely low

I“ve been playing zero on pc till about 2 weeks ago, now bought one of those samsung tablets with a pencil, and although I was unfamiliar with android, you get the hang of it pretty fast and I have to say I prefer it over playing on pc with mouse. Especially since it is not an intensive game, rather something you can do when watching tv or outside, just "update" your progress every now and then. On pc I basically just connected once a day and that was it.

No. It did not work. With efficiency at 150%, I put another power station nearby. But it still converted 3 fuels to 4 fuels in level 3 (T1 land). Anyway, the way fuel converters will be affected by efficiency will change in beta, and this rounding trick won't be useful anymore.

With 6 fuel site 150% and the T3 +100% bonus, only the fuel sites should be like⦠800fuel/day, isnāt it?

(A T4 would be 810 though)

A T4 would be 45x12x +50% (efficiency 150%) + bonus 300% + fuel (one of the 3) boost
Base production is 15 at 100% (T1)
so (Base x numMines x Efficiency x TierBonus) = 15x6x1,5x2 = 270
Then why the screen show 45 production?

I'm no dev, but in this specific Situation with the Scanners, i guess it's Harder for them to balance droprates of biodata, scanning Space, etc.
Like if they See data, and See every plot built 10 Scanners, some idiotic dev might just double the area of scanning, because they thought about having 5 Scanners in average on a plot.

The data gained from this could be skewed if a lot of people move scanners around for 100% efficiency, leading to devs lowering chances for the beta. And at that point we might be limited to lower efficiencies due to plot layouts and not being able to move things, so chances would then be lower than intended. So hopefully this is taken into account as well.

The game is glitching badly... Half the time i cant close the windows and sometimes it randomly goes back in time: i log in, set the buiding, pumping, close the game. Open the game 1hour later and im at the same stage where i was before starting upgrades

For each biodata you can find 3 facts and 3 blueprints in this version of the game
it is random. Facts increase the chance for finding blueprints fo the facts illuvials affinity. So if you found 3 facts of atlas for example, the chance of finding a bp from atlas biodata is increased. I feel like facts have a higher droprate than blueprints, always got the 3 facts befor the 3 blueprints of ones biodata.

All my 12 fuel converters are at 150% efficiency. I'm not relying only on passive fuel generation (where you don't really need to care about efficiency), i do active convertion also. I did not compare both tactics, but it certainly would be interesting to see which one is more space-efficient and more productive once maxed out.

Does anyone know which 5 illuvials there are? I'm aware of Atlas and Archie but not the other 3. I'm guessing once I find all 5 I should scrap my scanners. Is that right?
Active one with lesser number of converters and lots of power stations will be up much faster than just having lots of converters on passives as you don't have to upgrade as many. And Power Stations are really fast to build.
Using the same amount of space, you could fit 72 Converters for a max of 144 passive fuel per day.
The 12 actives + passive would generate 84/day.
Assuming lv6 converters. So the time difference to build is huge. (6x the time to build up for passives, or in terms of build time without spending tokens 189 days)

sounds like an optimal way is to build a few actives to build your base up, and slowly swap to spam your plot with passiv converters.
Biodata is what the scanner finds. And what you need for the Lab to start a research action.
When researching in the Lab you'll get either a Fact or a Blueprint (or a fail).
Facts are information about the illuvial, and they boost the chances of finding a blueprint of that affinity.
Blueprints are what you need to be able to craft skins in the Overworld.
For now at least. How effective it'll be might change depending on what changes are coming in the beta.

yes. data banks are just for pushing efficiency of mat labs in s1. So you don't actually "need" them except you need a good push of efficiency for your materials labs

Has anyone had an issue where you switch from phone to computer on ILZ and you lose progress. For instance if I upgrade my Nexus from level 1 to 2 on my phone and it completes tge upgrade, then I close my phone and go to my computer to open ILZ and my Nexus is back to level 1?

so the issue is the total rounding system you don't actually have 1.2m Carbon any amount higher than 1.15 rounds to 1.2m so keep climbing
Zero is teaching people about rounding a lot š It's the same with fuel generation. If you generate 1.5 fuel, you receive 2.
But if you generate 1.49 you'll get 1. So 150% efficiency is key on T1s.
Are the blueprints real augments used in the game or aesthetic only?
They're supposed to be used as a recipe for crafting armor/weapon skins in the main game.
With 1 blueprint you'll just need to collect the ingredients/illuvials and you can produce as much as you want/can.
It's speculated that some blueprints might be uniqie and you can be the sole supplier in the world for some skins.

The info window will not update to reflect the true % it will always show the base chance. It will be increased by having higher than 100% efficiency and by having facts for the illuvial you're researching, it just won't show the updated value.

I have 7 scanners and one spot that looks like yours. I move the scanner into the spot when I check it.
My progress on Zero just went back to level 1 after being over 200. Is that a known glitch?
I have not heard of one but there is a reset button that will do that.

starting to feel a lot like tinder. does increasing the efficiency of my scanner to 150% double my odds of getting a match!?
Yeah did the same, I was runing 6 scanners to get those 5 biodata, now Im runing 12 labs at 150%,
Scanner can at most get 100% efficiency. Any building/plant around it reduces its efficiency.
does building path help in anyway?

When placed next to buildings, paths can increase the speed of activities such as construction, extraction, conversion, and scanning. It is important to note that the connectivity of paths is not a factor in their effectiveness - a completely surrounded building is the most optimal setup for maximum efficiency.

We wait until we can turn them into NFTs and then transfer them to Overworld once we get to open beta. Then we can use them there to craft cosmetic skins.

no it's not a must for this alpha, you can store bp's without it... for now it only increases efficiency of material labs

You most likely built one before the goal became available, and it didn't count, so just try building another one of the element ones and it should complete. (fuel converters don't count for this one)
Will the offers inside the marketplace change or do they stay the same? Like, will there be added new ones or not?
If biodata research wasn't successful, it doesn't disappear and could be researched again until in gives blueprint or fact, right?

Biodata never disappears. It doesn't get consumed by research no matter what.

and power stations doesnt work for them, actually makes sense, its like youre trying to get a wild animal, any tec nearby would make the animal / illuvial scared ahhaha
@radiant sky fuels are more flexible
and you can put a lot together and get passives, I guess late game, when it is for real, maybe a good choice have like 20 conversors beside of each other, even for 50%. Because I guess the % are related to the active mode, but passives doesnt get debugg

at the moment this is for sure one of the best options you can do at leadst for low tier landplots. Maybe there are others, or they change balancing. We will see

if you go for fast nexus 7, i guess beset is to spam some 50% converters, so you get a good amount of fuel passiv income. Mostly crypton, since nexus needs lot of crypton

you dont need nexus VII, 100 plots
with 50 I made everything, I have tons and tons of fuels and resources
I focused on upgrade them and get max allocations and levels, nexus 7 its for a really late game,
I got to 100 plots later and thatās when I started really advancing everything but initially it wasnāt necessary
Not bad, just different.
The main advantage being you don't have to spend fuel on storage upgrades early on, as you can just build a ton of the cheaper ones with 50 extra building slots. And you can have a lot of fuel converters for passives up on day 1/2.
@molten cave do we need zero point transducer as of this patch?
Are you sure about passive not impacted by efficiency ? tried to be carefull about it. but it seem's that it generate really slowly. And I hope they fix it before launch of the game. Noway they want us to make 150 converter without taking Efficiency in count..
and hoping that they fix the usebug of moving to 150% spot before claiming. I'm really surprised that wasn't already done during the S0. that was one of the biggest feedback everyone gave at the start of the first alpha.
Nothing seem's to have changed since the first alpha others than balance production and marketplace.
not sure about passives being affected by efficiency
but the bug of power stations really make us grow faster
I guess they could easily "fix" the bug putting some cooldown on moves
If i move a power station it has 24hours cooldown to move again, something like that
I think the solution was to do an average during the production time. if you add / remove power plant during, it change the final result.

Passives are affected by efficiency (currently the amount you get).

or will you have to keep seperate materials labs to get the different tiers?

Johnny mentioned Scanners will unlock the ability to find higher tiers, without affecting the chances for lower ones when you level them up. So I assume the same will be true for Labs.

To reward land owners for being early to the game you should add 1 beta blueprint where its like a really sick color and it shows like illuvium/beta on the skin. Idk it would be so sick to be like one of the few players to have that.

So my Illuvium Zero progress reset to level 1 after being hundreds of levels up with multiple illuvials and sounds like from support that it is a known issue. Really hoping this gets fixed...

Should I put the holographic statue near a scanner to increase the scanner odds? When I do that the scanner efficiency drops
no, the statue has no effect for s1 and every building in scanning area will let the efficiency of the scanner drop
I suggested that too. Like, the alpha blueprint (and the related produced skins) to be unique for this season (like the alpha DISKs for Illuvitars).
But it will increase the odds of the scanner to find illuvials that matches the affinity of the statue in final version right? How it is supposed to work if the reduces the efficiency of the scanner?
afaik it already works, but all the 5 biodatas have a different affinity, thats why it has no effect.
after open beta launch, you will have many biodata with the same affinity available, so you can increase the chance finding biodata of the shown illuvials affinity
