IZ land holders earn 5% of in-game revenue through Fuel, obviously that will be distributed unequally, T4 earns more than T1, but its not too hard to work out an approximate ratio. With that you can plug in whatever revenue number you want to work out what your share will be. Blueprint prices are pretty hard to predict, and even if I had a theory team members shouldn't be speculating on such things. I can tell you the mechanics, it is up to you to speculate on the outcome.

To be clear, no expectation on what the blueprints are worth, just like the idea of getting something. I'm about $1500 in the red for land, have had a few test runs, understand that it'd help the team but don't have the time.

the date you will get something was never defined and the season start really wont impact that, it works back the other way:
the blueprint minting window will open a few weeks before Season 1 ends => Season 1 end date will be determined based on the readiness for Open Beta

If we did not speculate, we would not live, we would not have children, it seems a bad thing to speculate. The first year of invoicing I very much doubt that we will reach $10M if we take 5% of that, more or less it touches $5/tier1, $15/tier2, $45/tier3 and $135/tier4... In blueprint and hunted Illuvials we should take 15 times more. I see difficult.

Obviously it sucks to have to have delay, and I'm not debating that, but the Season 1 start delay really has very little impact in the scheme of things: the only new feature attached to that is the Marketplace, otherwise you are playing the same game that you can play right now, the Season 1 start date has no direct impact on the Minting Window opening date.

That's why I have 3 scholars who are playing 4 lands each and I pay them $0.03/experience point, up to a maximum of $50. I have a well-paid job and I can't play more than a piece of land. I have many lands, which since the postponement have gone down, losing (15-20%) more than $20,000 in my case, I don't mind losing $150 making 3 scholarship holders play that are killing themselves to play every day.

Don't blame CEOs who won't give you a pass to Overworld for speaking well.
I would only understand that IZ in its current state, if it started up, would only generate disappointment. Soon is soon.

What's the point of dwelling on those things? I've already posted both a detailed breakdown of how the delays came about, including both changes to what we were doing, and some mistakes that we made. I've apologised for those mistakes and described how we will try to avoid them in the future.

The reality is new tech is often delayed, despite the best intentions of those building it, in the case of games dev it is so common as to be the norm. You should probably consider that in your decision making.

If you want free stuff to offset these delays you are welcome to go the community and build support, write an IIP, and get it voted on by the council.

If you have no faith in our ability to deliver then exit at a time of your choosing.

Mate. That's a solid set up. I haven't lost nearly as much value as you but yeah, on a much smaller scale, I feel you. It's difficult to have dates postponed with no definitive date. I'd be fine with a new date personally but I never say no to free stuff 🤷‍♀️ it'd be a nice show from the team that the people that bought in are still valued. That aside, I'd just like clear timelines and transparancy, not wait for a different branch before you have answers

Yes had no problems installing... but not sure what you've done so far with the support team. Typically, if you can get some logs (since the popup error alone can be due to various things) and send it to the team, almost always that should allow them to give you a clear action step

Did you approve the unsigned APK file? If yes, for the logs you might get some more info googling for "logcat" to get more info why it's still not being installed, then the team can guide on how you would send the output to them

hey. so on my land what happened for the past 2 days is that i go and create a new building, harvest t2 resources and begin new research, but when i close the game and turn it back on a couple hours later, it is as if i didnt play the previous time. all the things that i just mentioned are as if they didnt happen. even a new building that i constructed didnt happen. seems like it just loads the previous iteration when i played over and over again. any input on this subject?

I think taiga is a great place. Lot of water air and fire. People love fire and water. You can get slashin, bits of rhamphyre, dash and Umbre, dualeph... definitely a pretty cool spot imo. But it is very subjective.

Others may find Crimson waste and shardbluff labyrinth more interesting for stuff like titanor and scoriox. But im a fan of umbre.

The free to play plot does not have earning capability. Those F2P plots are there for those who just want to play the game. The fuel and blueprints produced on F2P plots cannot be sold or transferred into the the other games.

As far as I can tell The primary reason to get more lands in different regions is to be able to more easily get the blueprints that are most easily obtained in each of the regions.

The closer lands are to each other the more efficient it will be to “transfer” resources between lands if needed.

Thx my friend. I have a fully (well, almost fully) balanced T3. 3 Carbon, 4 Silicon and 2 hydrogen sites + two of each fuel site and 2 convertors for each site. Took me a month and a half to be here. Everything is maxed out except labs and scans since it really wouldn’t matter if i upgraded them atm

Individuals are free to set up scholarships if they want, but it's not currently a process that's supported by Illuvium. It's something you'd have to work out with people who want to play your plots for you.

That's one way someone could do things, although I wouldn't advise it. I know people have shared in-game login info as an alternate solution, as that login info doesn't give permission to send a plot of land. It only gives permission to interact with the plot in-game.

I'll reiterate that scholarships aren't supported by Illuvium, these are just things I'm aware of people doing to set up their own scholarship type systems.

When I hit a lull in element/fuel production and could build or upgrade a 'big' building I would always have my builder working on a power station. I have at least 30 on each plot. It does make a difference with Converters for sure. I am looking into less roads come Alpha Season though.

Tier 3 is much trickier for Scanners but is great for fuel. Just keep playing before the reset to get practice. Try putting your Nexus,Workshop, and Quantum Fabricator off in a corner by themselves. That will free up space for converters and power stations there for you.

In the beginning it is very much: Get resources, Get storage, Get Upgrade, Rinse Repeat. Then look into moving things around.

My own land is far from optimised, but I would say you have far too many useless paths.

Unless you just like the look of having paths in your land of course. 🙂

Also you may want to clear those plants for the building credit.
And put extractor buildings on the unused elemental and fuel resource sites.

Fuel Earnings
Landowners will earn approximately 5% of all in-game revenue. Players can extract Fuel from Tier 1-5 Land, which is connected to the economy of Illuvium and can be sold on the IlluviDex for Ethereum (ETH). Landowners play their Land plot in the Illuvium Zero game to build up their Land and produce Fuel and Elements. After building the necessary structures, players can trade their Fuel at any time for ETH.

Blueprint Generation
Using a Singularity Scanner, Landowners scan for Illuvials to produce Biodata. The Biodata is Researched in the Materials Lab to Discover Blueprints. Blueprints can be minted as an NFT and then sold on the IlluviDex for ETH or used to craft new cosmetic skins.

Someone has listed a T4 on the dex for 9.45E. Got me thinking, how is ILV land valued compared to other projects? The biggest land sale is for BAYC's Otherdeed for Otherside. Let's make a quiiiick comparison:

I reset one of my T1's just to see what it will be like with the 1:1 change and so far it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. My biggest problem is still storage. I am always hitting the max even though I am pretty diligent with building them. This plot has 1x Crypton, 2x Silicon and 1x Hydrogen. So I had to completely rely on converters for the Carbon which slowed the first couple nexus upgrades, but with the Crypton I was able to hit Level 7 nexus much quicker to get to the 100 building limit.

I am super interested to see how the resource transferring works in alpha season 1. Between my 3 T1's, I have 3 of each resource and 1 of each fuel.

Illuvium zero is just a supportive game where you produce fuel and stuff to play with in the other games.

Players will be able to play an almost unlimited version of the Overworld for free. You have all the regions, you can do everything anyone else can, but F2P can only find 75 / 206 Illuvials. If they want more they will have to pay to get them in a similar fashion as opening packs.

So illuvium zero would allow you to collect a way to make skins for the other games.
The "illuvials" in Illuvium zero are fleeting and you can only find their Biodata. Something like a feather or a tooth. But in the game this is just shown as an illuvial image to make things confusing.

With the biodata you can research ways to make your overworld armor look cool. If you find an axolotl you get fins and blue and water anf such. A fire bird allow you to have burning leaves around you.

When you are in the overworld you can then dress up as your favorite illuvial while you catch those little buggers out in the field.

Like garf mentioned - You need to set up both wallets on IMX before transferring. A transfer batch error usually means the receiving wallet isn't set up on IMX yet.

If you haven't yet, you'll want to navigate to the IlluviDex site, and then clicked "Account" in the top right, and connect Wallet B by signing all of the transactions in the IMX window that pops up. After that has been done, Wallet B should be set up in IMX so you should be able to go back to Wallet A and send your land to Wallet B.

I started upgrading my scanners just to see how much they will cost in the end game. Here is what I found so far:
Tier: Hydrogen / Crypton / Hyperion / Time
T1: 1.1M / 3 / 2 / 8H
T2: 3.5M / 12 / 6 / 16H
T3: 7M / 24 / 12 / 32H
T4: 14M / 48 / 24 / 3 Days
T5: 28M / 96 / 48 / 6 Days
I have only gotten to T4 so far so I can't see what a T6 would cost (if there is one)

Not exactly. They have stated that you can't transfer fuel directly to yourself from zero to overworld. You have to sell it to the market in zero and buy it in overworld.

Every time you sell Fuel, it gets sold into the ETH/Fuel Balancer Pool. For every 1 Fuel sold by land owners, 19 Fuel gets sold by DAO. It's a core part of how the 95%/5% ratio is maintained.

Now, in practice, I've heard it mentioned that there could be a UI element that obscures the back-end. So it could "feel" like you're withdrawing Fuel from your plot (UX: You click withdraw, you now have Fuel in your wallet), but behind the scenes it would get sold into the pool, and then purchased back to your wallet.

Bypassing the pool would break the ratio. That's why things are the way they are.

All fuel goes through its own respective pool yes.

Basically you sell and buy the fuel instantly so that the DAO can then mint an absolute amount based on the fuel that is inserted into the pool. I dont think this is an inconvenience as it will be hidden from you when you try to send the fuel to your own wallet.

It will probably say something like: do you wish to send this fuel to your wallet? You will receive roughly 99.5% of your fuel. (Or something)
You press accept, and your fuel shows up on your account a few seconds later ready to be used. You would otherwise just put the fuel into a balancer pool with eth and sell it just like other tokens.

I do would like to point out @south mural that you say Revenue distribution, but lands dont get any of that. They produce 5% of the in-game fuel tokens, which amounts to 5% in-game revenue.
The term "Revenue Distribution" on the other hand encompasses Merch, trading fees and sales like those of the Illuvitars as well. 👍

As far as I've seen for most countries, taxable events are any time you trade something (like a currency) for something else. So any purchases or currency exchanges would also be subject to tax, not just "cashing out".

For cryptocurrencies, yes.
Say you exchange your local currency to ETH then convert it to USDC, the ETH to USDC would be a taxable event. If you then convert that to physical euros, that's another taxable event.

I know some countries only tax profits made on those transactions, so it's best to do proper research on what applies to your country.

Where I'm from losses are not tax-refundable, but profits are taxable. So rules are a bit weird when it comes to these things.
