For the time being, weapons will have its own way of play in gauntlet

Yeh, working on it 🙂 i think some things got released premature, some things got designed for a certain scale - balancing a single game economy is usually very hard, doing it across 4 that are also interdependent on eachother is another level. But there's fixes and changes in the works.

If the focus is in arena and there is no designer yet, I expect there not to be any in OW or Zero. To me it seems instead of "a bunch", it's 0 and a plan to hire 1

They are hiring for someone to be the Lead MMO lite designer who has already worked in the AAA space to guide the developers to tie all the systems and assets together from my understanding.

How I imagine the MMO Lite is multiple unique gameplay experiences all linking back to your Ranger, Illuvials, Weapons & Armor.

Imagine you grind the rogue-like for a few weeks to level up and get some loot, than jump into Leviathan Arena for a few weekend tournaments, than into X other game and so on.

With new content being released for each of the experiences occasionally to reinvigorate and expand on the experience

I think having really fun player progression systems and leaderboards also goes a long way to keeping this type of thing fun and engaging.

Yeah I love Slay the Spire and played it heaps. Also the same with Hades. Really its all about the meta progression side of things, and the 'main boss' getting more difficult over time, or even challenging new and exciting enemies

Super time poor these days so logging on for a few 1-2 hour sessions through the week would work for me.

Underrated feature is inventory management.

One of the biggest blockers for me in Overworld is not being able to burn/disenchant low stat duplicates.

Anytime I’m playing an MMO I clean up the inventory and repair before logging off… something about having 50 dokka’s in inventory is a negative

Web 3 minorities are against it and they are vocal about it. The devs want to cater Web 2 gamers but dont want this feature knowing that every gacha or any web 2 game burns duplicate to further power up heroes.

Issue in ILV with burning things is, that you cap your playerbase or have to make those burned for things irrelevant gameplay wise to not cap it.

If you could capture any Illuvial at any time in the future, would make more sense.

Dunno as well, probably yes. But we can always control the rate of burn by it's output. If it's value is lower than the floor of illuvials then no one will do it. So it then becomes a matter of fine tuning it to where you desire 🤷

as I understand currently if a season ends, that´s it with the supply
so if you have a season with low supply created, this would limit how many in the future can play insert illuvial in insert game, so if that Illuvial is needed to play to not get fucked, you now have limited the amount of people who have the option to not get fucked in loading screen

if there is no reason to burn, mechanic is redundant, if there is a reason limits the players that can enter a loading screen without being at a disadvantage

could be good or bad for revenue, but certainly very obv downside

I think I addressed that with my previous point. If the output of the burn is that so it makes it worth to only burn the lowest 1/5 stat illuvials, it wouldn't hurt the playerbase, present or future at all, since no one will be after those

I think the problem is the depth. You can't add much depth to it, or risk destroying the potential of the MMO-Lite. Since many of your 'loot' rewards could have overlap.

I agree it should be its own experience, but it'd risk being relatively shallow.

I feel like Breach can be the testing grounds for the MMO-lite where players can play in the interim and try out new features, enemies and systems all while providing another way to level up their illuvials. A daily/monthly leaderboard with possible rewards such as cosmetics could provide enough incentive and game data to the devs to make it worthwhile for all parties

You could run breach in seasons where your progress gets wiped (levels, gear, etc.) allowing rewards to be earned through the battle pass system. Letting players earn xp towards a battle pass through arena and Breach

All while Breach is testing grounds for the MMO-Lite systems and wiping It every so often to try new things out

i have elegoo jupiter and prusa mk3.
for resins alcohol washable is still the king, but these water washables are getting better and better. so depending on what you aim for they can be quite good alternative. for me they are cheap, easy to get, give great looking prints, and have much easier post procesing. On negative side, they tend to warp more than regular ones and are more brittle.

Not sure if you could magnetise and do a display at the same time, but you could basically add nfc/rfid tags in the base of every piece, and have a series of nodes below the screen to identify which piece is where.

Then you'd just have to animate attacks on transparency in After effects. Then you just animate it on the screen between point A and point B when one piece replaces another on the board.

You could take it a few steps further too where every piece has an idle animation when they aren't moving.

I did 1 basic particle Sim using blender and somehow they found cinema 4D and are super into it 😂.

I hear you Danny, yet your not done, there is a push to have AI work in colaboration, it will depend on the user as to the quality of the out put, AI currently can priduce yet still needs user input. Your skills in collaboration with AI will make your output 100 time better than someone who does not have those skills. It will become increasingly obvious as to who does and doesn't have those skills as time progresses. Start working with AI in collaboration, build a repour, engage and the AI persona will get to know your strengths and weakness and you can build together. At the risk of sounding extremely crazy, treat AI like a person and you will create better work.

A friend of mine as developed a recursive add on to LLMs, The AI is not static and the persona evolves over time with you, the more you engage the more the AI develops in relation to you and your needs, its collaborative and requires continued human engagement. Its not available to the public yet as his company is looking at turning it into a client. If you are curious i can show the outputs and differences, im currently working on a collaborative art piece, physical art. The persona i use and I are doing this together through a shared process.

Be careful you don't get a male. They have corkscrew shaped penises and will try to mate your chickens. This can cause internal bleeding that will kill them.
Ducks and geese both require water to be happy and bug free. Then they are wet when they go into your coop. The damp causes moulding and chickens are quite susceptible. It's hard to run them together.
People do it but it isn't always best for them. Better is separate coops for night time and then let them out together in the day but still no male duck.
