Traditional gamers are so against web3 like with a passion they are against it. I’ve seen a sentiment that some people believe the future of gaming lies in indie studios not AAA games, they carry games and honestly I can kind of feel this sentiment. The only fundamental difference that’s required for a game to be web3 is asset ownership of in-game items. Developer team size (indie vs AAA), monetization approaches (pay-to-win, pay-for-utility, pay-for-cosmetics, etc.) can be whatever you want. The argument of indie games vs AAA is like saying that because blue is the best color then clearly dogs are better than cats. They’re entirely different categories. I was not paying too much attenton but from my prespective this is what is going on: IIP has been proposed, and for some reason the council is not voting on it. Is the reason good or bad - i do not know, for that you would need to go there. But that is the gist

Hi all… wondering what you think of this as far as value comparison… 100k total land plots…. 10 million total tokens… so 1 land plot per 100 ILV tokens….. ILV is 1/100 as rare……. If it were an even share of revenue, land would pay 100X… but it’s 95% of revenue vs 5% of revenue so roughly 5ILV pays the same as the average land plot if land is played fully. An average land plot would cost between a tier 1 and a tier 2… so maybe… $800-$1000. 5ILV costs about the same… $182x5= $910… so value of land right now is almost identical to the value of ILV. So long term, SLP pool is still the way to go for max value over time as it has the highest yield. Short term you’d either want a short term stake of ILV that matches your expected sell date or land because hype and zero could skyrocket price like it did in Axie…. Long term, SLP gives you the most USD back due to yield.

Yes, but you should take into consideration that a T4 land produces 36x as much fuel as a T1 land.
T1 lands produce similar amounts of consistent revenue as a single ILV token if you work those values out.

Bút there is always that gacha chance at owning a cool Blueprint. So if you hypothetically sell that for 2Eth, then you can buy 15 extra ILV tokens 😏

Token unlocks are public knowledge. Therefore it could already be priced in. Many of us expect that token unlocks won't actually result in much selling. So as soon as the selling pressure fails to happen, the price will shoot up. Right now it's a coin toss whether unlocks will result in the price going up or down.
