the land is on IMX, you can connect your metamask wallet and buy ETH directly on IMX. I havnt done it because I've had ETH on layer 1 and transferred it to layer 2 when I have used IMX, so not sure of fees, and if that outweighs the gas to transfer ETH from Binance/Other exchange -> wallet L1 -> wallet L2 (2 transactions)

only reason I trust them is the Winklevi are legit believers from a old money family and are regulated by the NYDFS, which does almost all banks/insurance companies/financial institutions etc. They release stablecoin audits monthly and are generally super conservative going for the institutional market mostly. Your non-earn crypto is insured as well.
