I'm exploring Immutable X for a project I'm working on and according to the documentation it is possible to mint directly on L2, meaning on Immutable X, so I wonder why did the Illuvium team chose to mint on Ethereum? Was it to reach a bigger audience? That's right, the Illuvium land was minted directly on L2 but the initial transaction was approved on L1 hence you paid gas on Ethereum's mainnet. I think what I'm trying to ask is if that initial transaction, the moment you pay to mint the NFT, can also happen on L2 so the user can skip the gas fees. Of course we are assuming the user already has funds ready on L2.

As soon he executed the File the App closed again and nothing more happend, after some time he checked his GALA Account and all of his NFTs from GALA Games got Rugged and transfered away
The Project/Company which have done this so from his source is called Exverse

Metamask stores the private key on the browser, so connecting to a site that reads that file on your browser can make that your wallet is compromised. Since the Hardware wallet has the seedphrase stored offline, and encrypted, this would not be enough to compromise your ledger.

do note that transactions that you approve can still suck out all your funds. Say you approve that the other wallet gets access to all your eth, then yes. You should not be surprised that your funds are sent away.

The rewards haven't changed. Everyone who locked for 12 months gets a 2x token weight. That is still the case today.

I think what needs to be realized is that no one forced you or any of us to lock our staked deposits for 12 months. Most of us understood exactly what we were getting for locking our tokens for 12 months... and the rewards we are receiving are the same rewards we planned for when we first staked close to a year ago.

12 months = 12 months and there's no shortening that timeframe, regardless of how the market is performing and how the ILV token price appears in reality compared to what you thought it would do. You get a 2x token weight for the full 12 months and as such, those who understood what they were getting into when they locked for 12 months probably don't feel they are getting "hosed".

Just because the market turns bear, doesn't mean rewards should be increased. That's not how it works.

i disagree,my kids atleast my 8 year old and the 14 Year old have better grasp of Blockchain and how to use a wallet than i did when starting out 5 years ago(i might have pushed them a little),IMX have Fiat onramp and Illuvium potentially would not need to have a wallet to buy in the game and all TX handled on the backend(what we are seeing)

i belive i spent 1 hour getting past 10 Levels when it came out,my youngest used half that time and my oldest said"step aside grandpa" super proud and insulted at the same time.he got like 255...
