Yeah, to simplify the claim process, I think the team put all pending rewards into the ILV only claim. The V1 contracts haven't changed, and before the pause you'd have to claim both your ILV and SLP rewards together. Now that there's no new yield, you can claim both in a single claim.

Migration was going to be a way to move unlocked stakes to the V2 contracts. For security reasons, that functionality had to be removed.

Note that Upgrading to V2 and actually staking in the V2 contracts is different. Upgrading lets the V2 contracts read your locked V1 stakes.

If you staked for a year you can still claim your rewards say monthly those rewards are then staked another year. If youd wait a year then claim, your investment will be freed but your claim will be staked for a new year. If you claim monthly you compound if you wait a year you dont unless if you also restake your investment, but its not optimal 🙂

Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:

• When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
• You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
• If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.

so I have ilv rewards that were staking, sushi pool staking and some unlocked ilvs that were staking. So the locked ilv and eth/ilv need to be upgraded so that's 2 gas fees. Then the unlocked ilvs need to be unstaked and restaked so that's 2 gas fees.

Not to my knowledge. If it’s just one transaction why my LP still shows as V1? I checked other wallets and I believe there are two transactions for migrating LP, one is called Migrate Locked Staked and the other Execute Migration.

That funtionality got removed for almost all wallets. I'd recommend just Upgrading, withdrawing, sending to a new wallet, and restaking.
