Hi just FYI illuvium is built as a Single Player game like Witcher Mass effect Dragon Age ( personally i think that is awesome myself ) With 2 PVP arenas which are the only place you will see other players when the game launches.

A MMO/ Co-op may a project in the future . Aaron has mentioned they want to separate the overworld and autobattler and make them 2 separate games . the over world could have co- op or multiplayer but that is probably sometime in the future

I got in to the Alpha in Jan 2021, the bones of the game give off MAJOR "modern/3d" Runescape vibes, which was one of my first loves. It's extremely immersive for an MMO. I had alot of fun, somewhere around 1.5k hours total. The main issue is Amazon decided to turn CryEngine into Lumberyard, why you would pick a FPS engine for an MMO is beyond me, ESPECIALLY one you didn't even make yourself. On top of that there is tons of technical debt which leads to persistent bugs popping up constantly and things like dupes/exploits being common place the first few months (big blockchain advantage here). Illuvium using Unreal 4 is one of the main things that sold me, and is further backed up by things like BioWare using UE5 for Mass Effect instead of Frostbite (part of why battlefield is doing horribly) and CDProjectRED using UE5 for The Witcher 4 instead of RED engine (Cyberpunk shitshow). I also suspect part of why Halo: Infinite isn't doing well is their relience on the Slipspace engine. It seems like Ashes of Creation will be a much better attempt at what New World was trying (if it releases).

Yes, staking is currently paused. You can't see the reward but it is still getting calculated. There will be an update about staking v2 real soon. You'll have to migrate to staking v2 and then you'll see your rewards again.

A layer 2 solves this by scrunching up 1000s of transactions together and saying 'this is now one transaction, also you can't open the ball and check, but also it's definitely correct'

I didn’t see them until I went to upgrade ilv pool then it showed me the rewards breakdown and said it would be claiming those as well as the upgrade and gave the option for ilv or sILV. Personal gas fee was .01535 eth for that transaction
