If you are planning on spending money in game, you should not stake ILV and claim rewards, right? because you can buy it for 250 USD (around 40% of the ILV token)? So it would rather be better to just take a portion of your funds and stake it in ILV for the long term.. and just buy the syntetic in game currency directly for playing the game. This will probably give you more bang for your bucks.. any thoughts?

The official in game currency is FUEL ( sILV is like a coupon) you can alway buy FUEL with ETH. If you can find a place to stake and earn ETH better than staking ILV/ETH with 300% API, it's make sense not to stake.

The secondary market price is just that - It's set by the market. When ILV is worth less than it was, ofc sILV's market price is going to be lower. When sILV was worth $500-$600 on secondary markets, ILV was worth $1100-$1200. It only makes sense that the secondary price would decrease when ILV decreases.

This price isn't anyone's "fault", it's reflective of market conditions.

Regardless, for land sale purposes, sILV is still pegged to ILV - It always has been.

And Silv2 will always be at a discount compared to ILV as it’s a way of instant gratification for people who don’t want to wait a year for ILV reward unlock. Now the gap is vast between the 2, i expect it to become smaller but always present.

sILV can be used for anything BUT player to player transactions.

The fee will be the same, if there is a fee. If it's on ETH mainnet, it'll be normal gas fees, if it's on IMX, it'll be a standard fee regardless of what you're spending.

V2 staking hasn't launched. The sILV2 functionality that is released is to convert existing sILV into sILV2, not to claim rewards. Staking V2 will go live in the future, at which point you'll be able to claim staking rewards.
