The solution is to actually read rules and announcements and stuff. Nothing can be done now for you, hope you didn't lose too much. Those scams don't work on people who literally know anything about the game and have done an ounce of research. Take this very cheap lesson and don't let fomo cost you money through scams

In Australia, every conversion is a capital gains tax event (not sure it's the same in US). So if I converted USDC to ETH, I would pay tax on that conversion if the amount of ETH I received in AUD value was greater than the amount I spent to attain the USDC, again in AUD value. And then the same would happen if I then convert the ETH to another cryptocurrency.

1. I buy ILV land for 1 ETH at $3,000
2. I sell ILV land for 0.5 ETH, but now ETH is at $10,000

I now have 50% less ETH, but I have to pay tax on a $2,000 "gain". ✨

Hint: Don't sell NFTs when crypto is mooning.

They are randomly generated. Not really a rarity system for the land resources. Just whatever happens through the random draw. It’s more of there being more resource sites on higher tier land. It doesn’t seem possible to get a randomized t1 land that will be just as good as a t2 land.

My point is that after sILV 2 is deployed, and people are holding this in their wallet address, it makes no difference whether they claimed it via staking or bought it from a liquidity pool, either way it’s just an asset in their wallet. And if there’s another exploit, allowing someone to arbitrarily mint sILV for free, then it seems strange that we then blame the liquidity pool or the people who bought it this way. The fault would lie at the smart contract level. And it’s the team’s responsibility to ensure people can’t mint sILV or ILV for free, or steal it or exploit in some other way.

Anyway just my 2c, I understand why you might want to caution people, just seems a little misleading to me, as it makes it seem like the sILV liquidity pool was the problem, rather than a vulnerability in the contracts

damn the staking exploit has been a huge pain in the arse. Do I pull my funds out and lose staking rewards during market downturn? I definitely should have, but it made me hesitate too long. Also having the sILV locked beyond my control that I was going to spend on land, land being liquid. having capital locked up outside of my control is very annoying. I know it's not the teams fault, it's mine. don't risk what you can't afford to lose etc etc.

Unstaking = withdrawal where you can check in vesting tab. It would only show that you can withdraw if its unlocked or you staked flexible (not locked)

No, you withdraw your whole deposit (amount you staked) So, if you have several deposits you can withdraw them separately.

A good example here is if you have 5 ILV, 10 ILV and 15 ILV separate deposits totaling 30. You can withdraw just the 5 or 10 or 15 separately provided they are unlocked. What you cant do is 1 from 5 or 3 from 10, etc.
