But if I can't access my fucking funds for 1.5 months, I'm seething. It shouldn't matter to people how I use my money, but if the DAO denies me access to it that's just not right.

Upon use, these NFT's will be burnt when applied in game. This is only true for these emotes, skins, and badges as they were bonuses for the initial ILV token sale.

Reasoning is that we have a bunch of interest from the public, and we don't think it fits our ethos of "fair access" for all. If there is a mega whale out there who loves Illuvium and wants the Tier 5 land and can out bid a VC who are we to block them?

And being public they will probably end up going for more money as more people will be bidding. Meaning more revenue for the DAO.

Auction is public but the t5 was initially silent auction and is now public. Which you could go either way saying people will bid so they aren’t outbid but also with public auction you have more emotions going which leads to more irrational bids potential.

It will look identical to how it was before. Let's say you had X pending rewards before, and IF you don't withdraw any deposits you are to get an extra Y pending rewards. What you will see is this:

You can claim them as ILV or the new token. Up to you.

There is no set date for the first land sale. The land sale will be announced in📣│announcements when the date has been confirmed. Illuvium: Zero is a mobile mini-game that will interact with the main game. Illuvium: Zero will be a base building game which will be staged on a piece of land. Paid land will produce Fuel ERC20 tokens and Blueprints which can interact with the main game. There will be 100k plots of paid land in total, and the first land sale will offer 20k of these plots for sale in a dutch auction format.
