Anything your told or read at this point is only a guess much luck all the " community" times lines . Officially there are a lot of thing unknown where time is concered offically

however some people like to read tea leaves and make " predictions". Personally I jsut chill and wait for offical updates for offiical sorces

For just the travel... i dunno. But keep in mind there would be more than just the travel cost if you want to catch Illuvials. It would be travel + T5 shard + shard curing.

So it could be something like; $20 - travel
$25 - Shard
$5 - shard curing
$50 total

As Solar said we dont have official pricing for any of this, and some of it will be market dictated rather than set by the DAO.

Personally I would expect T5 to be around $50-$100 total for a travel.

I currently have 3 ILV staked. Is there a possibility to get that transferred to my ledger? Or do I just have to suck it up and wait the year and then unstake and move it over and restake?

Unfortunately no transfer capabilities exist in the V1 contracts. BUT, if you wait the year and then **migrate ** that 3 ILV deposit to the V2 contracts once it is unlocked, then you'll have the option to transfer that position to your ledger wallet address at that time... and those tokens would still be staked with their original token weight of 2.0 too 🙂

Using the migrate function that will be available would save you the "hassle" of having to unstake and restake/lock for 12 months to get that 2.0 token weight again.

Yes there is. You would need to follow a video. Try searching with this title: "Migrating MetaMask wallets into a Ledger hardware wallet"

So technically, its the same wallet address but once you migrate it to your ledger and setup a new MM wallet to connect your ledger with, you are effectively removing your seed phrase from your computer (added security) and now have a signing with ledger per transaction

What youre describing is moving your tokens out of a an existing wallet to a new wallet which is not possible. The migration is not doing that, its just placing your same wallet address with your token to your Ledger Wallet for added security. It doesnt touch or transfer any of the tokens locked or unlocked.

Same address, same seedphrase. Its just that now your transactions go through ledger signing rather than just direct MM. In addition, you are purging your seed phrase from your computer. So even if your PC got hacked they wont scrub the seed phrase of the wallet address with tokens.

Yes. I mean the deployment of v2. Not the activation of it. We could activate it sooner. There isn't anything special about a 2-week window. It could be 1 week. Your question about closed and open I don't think I saw but in general we will run the close betas as long as needed to get everything tested and working.

It could be that we miss the open beta deadline and instead open up the closed beta to a large number of people so effectively everyone is playing the game, and it's a beta, but we just haven't turned on the 'money' side. (Or rather it would be fake money on the testnet). I know that isn't ideal but at least everyone would be playing the games.

We are seeing a big anti-capitalism movement. NFT is seen as an other cash grab from the rich partly due to its association with crypto. Not saying it is always a cash grab, just that it is seen as such currently. Also the way a lot of NFTs are minted contribute to that. Just look at how many people come here asking to be whitelisted. That's not healthy. This certainly doesnt look like something useful to most people. third, There's the environmental problem that is currently being solved.

Does anyone know how they plan to keep on creating more and more illuviuals after set one? I'm particularly referring to 25:24 in Kierans interview with Paul Barron, he says eventually all of the set 1 illuvials will be caught, so they keep making new sets. I just don't know how they plan on adding such a large scale of different creatures, while making them different but also balanced so they fit in the game with the sets before them. I vaguely remember hearing that set 2 won't have 150 like set 1, closer to 30, but then there's only 30 to capture in the world instead of 150 when the game first came out, potentially making it not as fun

Some say league was being built before Dota was being made so unsure where he was in the midst of all of it but I think he was involved in dota at the start then hired by riot. That's probably one of the easier games to develop tbh. Most share more or less the same format and just overlay different visual elements and some unique mechanics. Not sure if it's included in Aaron's current list of 7 game types.
