It's longer than that. There's a change to the contract we must do to enable the ability for people to claim as sILV before upgrading to v2. It's actually a cool thing that will save gas but it needs to be changed and audited. We're using an extra auditor as well.

I'm also going to put in an IIP to change the nature if sILV to be something that I think is better for the project. I don't think everyone will like it, but my goals are always about the long term health of the project.

What the GPU if you don't mind? Its roughly estimated to be equal to about a 1050 or higher. allegedly the suggested like minimum if you have something as good or higher should be good to go.

PS: Once the betas are done and set one might be able to get 900 series gpu's to work but expect to be limited to what little power those GPU's can handle. As we are hitting a point where old GPU hardware is simply and unfortunately teetering on being obsolete with new AAA games. An unfortunate truth.

Just a consideration IF your IIP proposal would negatively effect the price action or ability to recoup funds for those with a lot of liquidity in sILV at the moment (which is temporary due to the lead up of land sale), it could receive potential negative response from those parties, EVEN if it is long-term to be good for the DAO.

If this might be the case, then a potential solution could be to delay the proposal (or implementation of said proposal) until people have had a chance to recover their liquidity from sILV so then people are thinking straight when appealing to the council. Having said that, you've probably considered this and if you think now is the right time to make this proposal as things are moving forward with sILV V2 then I have faith.

Have you thought about decreasing the purchasing power of sILV2?

If sILV catches up to ILV in value (which it of course will do, when it is usable in game) Then almost everybody should probably claim in sILV.. Even just to stake in the ILV, or in SLP. This will be negative for REVDIS. and would be a bit weird for the project in my view.

I think this Attack on sILV might be a unique opportunity to do a change in the value of sILV2..

For instance:
Make sILV2 worth only 0.9 ILV
and award all sILV holders from the snapshot 1.11... sILV2 per 1 sILV..

Then there would be less people claiming sILV2 in the future and therefore more revdis..

I'm not sure this is a good idea, but I just think it is worth giving a thought. everybody is of course welcome to comment.

sILV was not meant to be traded, it was meant as an alternative to out of pocket ETH for in game spending if you were already invested in staking. The fact that it gave "more buying power" was simply because those that wanted some quick cash were willing to set up pools and sell it cheap. These were independent 3rd parties, not the team, not official.

I think.. Because claiming ILV would be locked, vested for 1 year. Claiming sILV you could sell right away, so to get a more immediate return, they started the pools and sold sILV cheap, then reinvested that cash into more SLP to earn more ILV yield long term.

Well on the topic of Amazon's game. Part of that whole GPU issue is the engine was made super new and never verified. I was admittedly very skeptical of the game both upon announcement and release.

Comparatively UE4 and Unity are both well known engines. That have little to no known software to hardware issues.

I feel like it's a way we found to bring a similar concept we have in real life to the metaverse and games. I think it's a part of the experience as well and given the scarcity factor it will make millionaires in the projects than succeed.
