yeah, the joys of scams... this is the first time ever being scammed. i must be getting old... i am usually pretty savvy with stuff like this. i commented on the address the money was sent to though through etherscan so maybe someone else will see it before the send money. that wallet has close to 13k in it from scamming people. 500 from me...

Honestly…. In crypto.. $500 is cheap money to learn the lesson and protect yourself in the future. One tip…. I almost fell victim to one as well. It asked for my private key which tipped me off that it was a scam. I made a completely new wallet and don’t use the one I connected with just to be safe. Good luck!

Guys watch out for DMs. They are scams and they impersonate ppl. Here's how to find out you are being scammed:

1). The Suffix (Illuvimod) and (Illuvium) are server based. Means they do not show in DMs. So if anyone like ( Arash | Illuvimod) DMed you, it's scam.

2. Also, most of our names are white listed. Meaning if anyone uses our names for their profile, they will be banned by bots. This means, there is always an inconsistency with the names.

3. For God sake click on the names and compare. Everyone has a unique ID.

4. Turn off your DMs so you wouldn't come to us saying you've been scammed.

5. Illuvium’s website is with (.io) not (.com)

6. Keep in mind scammers also use colored dots in their description to impersonate mods

7. they will always send you screenshots of mod’s profiles to fool you so you wouldn't click on names

If you still get scammed, then please blame it on yourself.

Yeah, I think Illuvium has a big advantage time-wise on other AAA projects in the space. I'm no expert on Big Time (obviously), but I know RPGs. If Big Time gets a system wrong, their game could be dead in the water. The systems Illuvium has in place are (IMO) easier to tweak and correct if necessary. The Auto-Battler combat seems to be in working order, which is the primary competitive aspect of this game, and the part that will keep players playing.

I think there will be other successful AAA games that will release in the P2E space, but I think Illuvium will be first.

The way I see it, if sILV stays at ~50% of ILV, the “ETH” price of the land during the auction will be meaningless. Whatever is the price in sILV (using sILV market value) is basically the “real” price of the land going forward. However, things would be a bit different if sILV gets to 80% or 90% of ILV, because at that point point you’d expect a higher share of the parcels to be bought with ETH.

Guys watch out for DMs. They are scams and they impersonate ppl. Here's how to find out you are being scammed:

1). The Suffix (Illuvimod) and (Illuvium) are server based. Means they do not show in DMs. So if anyone like ( Arash | Illuvimod) DMed you, it's scam.

2. Also, most of our names are white listed. Meaning if anyone uses our names for their profile, they will be banned by bots. This means, there is always an inconsistency with the names.

3. For God sake click on the names and compare. Everyone has a unique ID.

4. Turn off your DMs so you wouldn't come to us saying you've been scammed.

5. Illuvium’s website is with (.io) not (.com)

6. Keep in mind scammers also use colored dots in their description to impersonate mods

7. they will always send you screenshots of mod’s profiles to fool you so you wouldn't click on names

If you still get scammed, then please blame it on yourself.
