Something similar, TFT and other autobattlers have these RNG systems which you participate in with other players and then play through in order to build your comp. We don't have that, you enter battle with a certain amount of "cards" in a deck and then choose what comp to build.

ILV/ETH at a 1:1 ratio USD values matched or ILV Only. 3 Million tokens will be distributed through yield farming over a 3 year period, with the first year being 1.8million tokens. Only unlocked tokens can yield farm which is less than 1 million tokens. Meaning, you get the maximum rewards possible. You can lock up your tokens for a maximum of 1 year which can increase your weight in the pool up to 2x. More details will be published before Yield Farming goes live near the end of May. There will be several options to earn in Illuvium like

• capture Illuvials
• farm materials
• craft items
• play the marketplace
• wager on battles
• ...
  BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy a bit of money needs to be invested (not even close to entry fees in some other games though). Early on you might even be able to get to the paid regions just by grinding the free T0 stuff because some people will pay to get ahead.
