Pretty sure, there are several reasons for all this:

• Axie pumping is one of the reasons for ILV doing well for sure. People see AXS numbers, look for the next thing to jump in on early, see ILV and its quality and join.
• Another factor is more and more exposure in tweets etc. We recently also made it into the list of most searched projects on CoinGecko.
• Being a game we will eventually decouple from BTC/ETH anyway and it seems this also happens somewhat this early already
