On the IlluviDex they are confronted with different prices for the same kind of item and trading with crypto people.

I know from a few discussions that they see this as scam. Fluctuating and different prices make it difficult to get a "fair" price, especially for newcomers. I can somewhat understand their view, because mainstream usually pays a fixed price e.g. in the grocery store or uses online price comparison portals to find a fair price.

Can we have some kind of Shopping Portal that shows the 1 week average price for the main assets, price tendency and a buy button that buys the currently cheapest asset from the IlluviDex ?

When investments of ILV tokens are evaluated (for example, rewards for Illuvium Beyond leaderboards), is the cost (the ILV used for the rewards) compared to the total amount of revenue generated or just the portion that goes to the DAO through the staked treasury tokens? My concern is that, if we are comparing to the total revenue and not just the DAO's portion of the revenue, then the DAO may actually be losing money on that investment. I have heard a few times that a certain investment brought in more revenue than it cost, but it's not clear whether this has been the DAO's portion of the revenue (in which case I would agree that it was a good investment) or the total revenue (in which case it could be a bad investment if the cost to the DAO was more than than the DAO's portion of the generated revenue).

Anyway, just something I have been wondering recently regarding Illuvium's long-term financial viability. Thanks!

Well currently the Airdrop is on hold and is likely being changed in a way to support leaderboards more. So currently not much in the way of earning, but you can capture illuvials and get high tier/statted illuvials and start ranking up in gauntlet mode to prepare for leaderboard rewards.

Search for "illuvium stage zero" on Youtube and look for one of those guides. They will explain the basics of starting and running stage zero, which is the free to play part. You will want to get used to the game cycle before going into higher stages. For now, you would want to look for illuvials with perfect stats, or that are "Holo/Dark Holo" (Special skins). Then you could try to sell those and move into higher zones. We do have a wave of airdrops that reward you for playing certain parts of the game, but they are on pause right now as they adjust the way the next event goes.

Right now I think the most profit is catching something really great stats and leveling it up and selling it. From tier 0 free to play you can catch things worth 5 or 10 dollars if they are maxed stats, and once you have built yourself up enough to catch Tier 5s. A **good **stats T5 can range from 25 bucks to several hundred. Max stats could go for a lot more.

If the highest tier illuvial in a stage 3 run is a Fludd and there is 0 T5 or any S3 then the fuel should be refunded. It's basically stolen money. There should be a minimum that a stage 3 run offers, but it seems that it's a bottomless pit at this point

Are you asking when season 3 begins? Becuase that’s not yet determined. It will probably run for a month. After it closes is when the tokens for that season would be first available to claim.

All past seasons ended. And those tokens can be claimed (at least a portion of them, claiming before the rewards are fully vested means forfeiture of any remaining)

Illuvium keeps crashing while I play extended gauntlet games. It has crashed probably 10 times by now. I have an older PC but the game and graphics run decently fine and then just hangs indefinitely at some random point. I'm so frustrated by this that I'm considering to stop playing this game completely or at least for a while. Do other people experience the same??

To be honest, I usually just manually stop Illuvium when the 'hang/freeze' occurs, then re-enter the game immediately to reconnect so that I don't lose too much time in game so no, I don't take screenshots.

Maybe its my PC but then it would struggle playign the game in general but it doesn't have much trouble. Does the game have minimum requirements?
