Happened to me once...
If nothing works (like happened to me), just make a full back up of your metamask seed and uninstall the extension, then install again.
Solved my issue. It keeped me asking to change the network even if i was on eth mainnet.
Dont answer any pv message trying to help you.

But, even though they had some issues, still think it worked out well for most. I got over 7 ILV last season for not even playing too much and basically got played to level up my collection. With fewer players as well, the bonding curve should be less strong so Illuvials should be more easily available before the masses start.
