What would be the bad side of making all the crystals/plants no energy costs, but instead letting the market decide the prices like the old diablo 2, csgo, eso, etc type markets?

Not including livullials.

Example of what i don't like now:
For mining crystals for shards. 4000 energy 100 pnts per shard aka 40 shards. Has two fees or taxed twice to be used:
stg1 - 1.02 to run it. so 1.02/40 = .02 per mine of a shard then to cure a t1 share is .07 for a total of .09 to get a t1 shard.
why not keep the hyperion cost but drop the mining costs?

To be fair, hot fixes should be worked on by Labs separate of governance. If governance framework has to dictate Labs to work on bugs that have been reported then there's something fundamentally wrong with the process.

I honestly believe this is not the case. While i still have to confirm, I'm sure they're aware of it and should be working or prioritizing this if its game breaking. But it is worth looking into on the progress and process of the team doing hot fixes.

It's not a 1:1. Last time I did the math, each extra point of capture power increased the chance by about 0.25%. And there are two stages to the capture (as well as two animations) and this power influences both parts.

If you do a run to farm rocks, that's potentially 1700 more energy. If you always catch 6 illuvials per run, that's potentially two more catches per run. If you do both in the same run, that's a few more shards you can get with the reduction, remembering that the duplication drone tier 1 doesn't work on shards.
