Script/bots wont have anymore power or only by "winning a bit of time".
Players wont have frustration to have missed the only 1 encounter containing something rare in it.
All "fun" factor are same. Instead of discovering 1 by 1 in the overwolrd. You get this reveal directly in the map.
Then you would have the fun to fight and capture what you desire.
Script scan wont have a lot of effects then. And people wont be mad to be forced to pay for a feature that is free for a cheater
