Just tried 4 battles, unsure exactly how it works. but i sent out 8 illuvials against 5 in a stage 2 area and dished out 5 brains -> 171 XP
Then i sent out 5 illuvials against 7 illuvials -> 300 XP
Tried that again with a brain on one of the illuvials -> 300 XP
Then i sent out 2 illuvials against 5 without brains -> 500 XP

Stage 3 illuvials are so hard to even chase and kill now compared to before especially if ur not an FPS player. Any way of getting a gun that does more damage? Or do gun upgrades only help in battles?

I haven't back read but do you have all of the progression paths - you need Stage 1, 2 and 3 of each Illuvial. Also do you have any lynx on your team? If yes have you to follow that path too, so if you have a Stoic Terralynx on your team for example you also need to have a Stoic lynx and a Lynx.

Not yet, no official amount. The going estimate from people working out on chain data was like 1 ILV per 40-65k points I think, give or take. But again, that's not official data, just speculation from players
