Well I guess now the team knows exactly what is dangerous for the game. Hopefully they sort it out now, and make it impossible to find illuvial finding srcipts. Because It's not possible to get as many as some did. I found 2 Ophistos in 2 months of playing. Avarage find time maybe 350 hours per ophisto. Someone found more + incredible amount of dark holos that only can happen by cheating the program. Team needs to correct this ASAP.

Basically day 1 - if you claim 50% the other 50% is forfeited.
You guys will have the claim page a little later than Day 1. So by the time you claim it would be more like 55% or something because the vesting date still begins on day 1.
It vests over the 3 month period so about 1.5 months in you should be able to claim like 75% if my maths are correct. and then claim 100% at the end.

If they stayed super common, it wouldn't mean shit when you found one. This is a very good change for Main net becuase it means if you find one, it's exciting, and possibly worth some decent cash if you choose to sell instead of keep it for you own colletion.

Weapon bonding is not a thing. Weapons just have affinities now like Tsunami, shock, bloom etc etc. So instead of gaining that affinity from bonding into an illuvial with your water or fire weapon for example, you'd need to just use a affinity weapon instead
