Those guys want a piece of the cake. the more we grind the more points we get we will rise above others percentagewise and grab a big piece for ourselves

The way I do it is... get a strong front line of 3 tanks, then one main damage dealer, then the rest of your team made up with illivials you arebtrying to level. Try to get as many synergies as possible, but synergies is not your main focus. Always always add the fruit upgrades to your illuvials. The upgrades make it 100% easier to win, as the enemy team have bonuses (bonus damage, health, resistances) so if you don't add the fruit upgrades then you are much weaker

I have a lot of questions:

• I use high end shards when trying to catch Illuviuals, I couldn't catch 93%, 80%, 80% in a row. I think there is something wrong here. Is the odds ratio game gave me correct? Are there any other details?

• When placing illuviuals on the board, sometimes yellow upward-pointing arrows appear next to them. I think these are buffs. They change depending on where I place them. (changes to one, two or three lines) Why does this happen and what does it do?

• Is Illuval's xp only for use in Fusion? So, is there a difference in damage, health etc. between lvl 1 and lvl 10?

there are some issues around certain capture rates atm, its to do with the bonding curve (when a certain illuvial; is caught, it becomes rarer to find - hence the capture rates are always changing) - the team are aware and working on it.

Those little yellow arrows indicate how fast your illuvial will become Hyper. When they become hyper they get additional bonuses in battles. Hyper is built around their affinity - e.g. Water beats Fire, so water illuvial gets hyper. there are vids on youtube around the hyper mechanic 🙂

I believe the XP is currently only for fusion purposes, to get your illuvials up to the next stage of evolution. Perhaps XP will be used for damage/health etc later on in game development but i am not sure on that!

no probs! you could look at creating master shards - you need to deconstruct shards in the forge to collect dust, then use the dust to build master shards. they have a 100% capture rate. Id suggest only using them on rare/powerful illuvials as they are costly. drone upgrades also help, definitely worth grinding rocks for ores 🙂

Yea figured it out. It was nothing to do with the game it was to do with one of my VPN settings. MACE anti-tracker function. Looks like it was blocking the tracking within the game for monitoring how often you play for the airdrop rewards. Turned that function off in my VPN settings and now it works like a dream.

Arlin is partly from the illuvial planet. The soothsayer with the black hood is the narrator "come find me child" "to fulfil your destiny", Arlin has a special connection to the illuvial universe where she can "feel" that its not dead despite the consensus. Also her pink hair and eyes signify that she is from the illuvium planet. Also interesting that only Arlin is shown interacting with illuvials, so while the "bad guys" are on the planet idt they can interact with the illuvials and they think the planet is "dead" with no life, yet they are there to exrtact some resource...Arlin is the only one that realizes that the planet isnt dead, there are creatures, and shes fighting to save it. Not sure how the ranger fits into this, but maybe Arlin teaches the ranger the secret to seeing/interacting with the illuvials

also i think that you need to catch all the illuvials in a region to unlock battling the leviathan. once you beat the leviathan, you unlock the next region

Cool teaser video, nice starter for a big journey, hints but no story! So, i think Arlen always liked the folk lore of her space faring nation about a mystical planet Illuvium, had dreams about it, it haunted her. So she built her career around the idea to find this planet, became a space captain, she used a ship she sailed for a corporation or the government to find the planet. Security crew of the ship didn't want her to do this search for some reason (may be orders not to let her, may be just illegal use of property of a corporation), and the conflict started to build up. An we see that she reached the planet, ship AI didn't find life on it, but her connection tell otherwise, so she decides to go down to investigate, and the security storms the captain's cabin, so the ship crashes to the Sanctum Mesa, she runs away and finds a way to activate a portal to other continent🤔 But what sort of connection, and who is the hooded man - that's a real mystery!

@plain delta The voice tells Arlen "find me, child, and show OUR people who you truly are". That indicates that not only the planet is very much alive (like we all know), but there are actually humans somewhere down there already --and afterwards the hooded figure appears and asks "will you follow me and fulfill your purpose", like he is a human that already lives in Illuvium before the ship arrives...
The other rangers seem to be thinkin that the dead planet (scanned by the ship) wasn't Illuvium, and that's why they didn't want to bring the ship down, OR they know something and have a darker reason not to let her go. That's what I took from it so far...

btw, when she says "forgot to charge again" and "we only just landed", it seemed a bit off for me, and it's probably because there is a lot of action going on, she is running, the drone next to her, shots flying by, and there is NO sounds other than her voice. Seemed VERY strange for me, to be honest. We gotta but extra sounds on thoise scenes!
