My understanding from the article is you only get the points for having 1 of each Illuvial in a given tier. "Collect all Illuvials in each tier to earn these substantial bonus points. There is no limit to how many times you can complete a tier to earn bonus points." So you would need 1 of each 18 T5 to get the T5 bonus of 15K airdrop points
