as long as you aren't sending/showing links I think it's ok though can't say for sure. Best we can really do is tell people to be careful and really look at what you've been given/what email info is being sent from and in general right now to just assume everything is a scam since the game isn't out

Sometimes i wonder if hyper even needs to be a thing, if someone goes deep into a single affinity you can normally counter it with certain augments and other methods, sometimes hyper just feels like one of you gets it and the other doesnt based off your team and theres not much you can do about it
What are others thoughts on it?
If you take enough illuvials on either sides of the affinity spectrum to try counter people as you see it, you wont have space for augments

well, it depends what u have done, have u signed any transaction or gave away your seed phrase?

If u done any of the above, u should move all funds from the wallet to make sure they are safe. if u have ilv stakes there is a chance u can move them.
but u can only do it when u are fully staked in v2 staking and have no history in v1 staking on that wallet.
i recommend making a ticket in #❓❓〕support. altho i think they dont work in the weekend.

Elliotrades scam got me just like that. His twitter got hacked and he posted legit links to his legit site. I didn't even use the links, I never do.
I still went there and still got hacked/signed rapid transactions as you menioned. So it was a similar incident.
For me it was supposed to be a mint for being a holder of their geneis collection. This was no simple scam, but all the advice below is correct

Did you know that you can have a separate wallet for every google account. So you can have like 3 totally independent (separate seeds/secret phrases) metamasks in one chrome.
And then I figured out you can import them together if you want or use soemthing like rainbow wallet

- i personally dont write down Hot wallet seedlhrases as i dont hold anything on there longer than 20~ minutes. But if you do end up using hot wallets for those purposes, make sure you write those down 🙂

Yeah its only an issue with the hot wallets that you create on metamask. If you use ledgers, you can just connect to those again.

You need to revoke the most recent ones you just granted. It's not going to hurt to revoke too many things at all so don't feel like you need to be overly cautious. You'll just have to "grant permission" next time on that asset or dapp

In light of how many people are getting affected by the phishing scams can we please post an announcement directing people on how to use revoke.cash. Also we should have an announcement letting people know they can transfer their staked tokens so they know everything will not be compromised from this. If we take action not just in the community but from the announcements we make, we can keep more people safe and we can make sure those that are effected can resolve their issue quickly with hopefully minimal damage <@&795142782133207063>

I think it would still be wise to have a guide in place in case people feel like they may have a compromised wallet, they could have an announcement to go to so they could see what they should do moving forward. A lot of people have panic in these types of situations and it’s hard to think clearly but if there was a guide on what to do if you believe you are at risk. I think that would create a lot of faith in the ILV brand because it shows they know of the issues and are actively trying to help you get ahead of the people trying to scam you

Sure but illuvium is different for a lot of people. If they think the wallet they have their stake on may be compromised that’s a different story. I have more money invested into ILV than I would ever just trade with in a normal trading account

Typo on the website, on beta-3-overworld-guide: The word "stages" should be "Stage" to be consistent.
*Fusion: The fusion area is where you will upgrade your Illuvials. So once you have three **stages *1 of any Illuvial and they have sufficient experience accumulated, you will take them to the fusion dashboard and fuse them to create a Stage 2 version of that Illuvial. Once you get 3 Stage 2 Illuvials, you can fuse those to make a Stage 3. So essentially, you need 9 Stage 1 Illuvials to make a single Stage 3. When fusing Illuvials, the stats are randomly rerolled to make the new Illuvial.
