Illuvium needs to look beyond TFT imo. Sure its a decent game but it ain't AAA. It's been out for years yet every set starts out broken. 9.5 was just whoever builds 7 bilgewater first wins. Add low poly characters, more rng than playing the national lottery and your looking at a AA game at best.

Just because it's the best at what it does doesn't make it good. The bar is set very low for autobattlers. That's why illuvium will melt faces and set a new standard in the genre 💪

When the Set is over, new illuvials gets inteoduced and you won't be able anymore to catch the ones from the Set before.
However, there is such a thing called the "bonding curve" which basically makes an illuvial, catched more often than others, Harder to catch and rarer to spawn.

You can sell Fuel, and you can sell Blueprints. You can also sell any assets from within Overworld.

You own assets and you can sell them. Web3 is about ownership, isn't it? It's definitely not about daily login bonuses, those are extremely web2.

There are absolutely similarities between web3 games and web2 games though, they are still all games at the end of the day.
