Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

However i spent 4-5 hours playing and feel lonely and bored. the map is basically empty in the most if the times and the shard drop rate is extremly low in my opinion even in low tiers.

I agree shards are hard to come by and I have no clue what the other minerals do. The whole mining experience needs to be rethought for me. Under the hood it’s a gamble to use fuel to extract something that may be useful/valuable for you. They should make it feel more gacha/slot machine like with rewarding, effects, sounds ect. Would make the grind more exciting.

They are adding plants that attack you which would add to the thrill of the hunt. I think they will add more to it if it’s needed.

But new players will not, they want to see an addictive gameplay with enjoyable game loops and not hard grinding 3hours to farm 3 common shards to finally catch something on a fully nearly fully abandomed map.
