I like so much about what this project has done, is doing, and aspires to be. I happily participated in the launch sale and land sale. It has made me money, and given me NFTs I am happy to hold through any bear market. I understand the team's obsession with perfection and can tolerate the delays that have come with such ambition. But I just cannot understand what they're trying to accomplish with Illuvium Beyond. This is not a game. This doesn't have any utility. It serves nothing in the ilv ecosystem (beyond serving as your avatar?). Selling these useless assets and calling it all a "ccg" reminds me of all the crappy/scammy pfp projects of the last bull. I can only hope not much dev resources are being spent on this as all other ILV games are looking amazing. I still believe ILV can be 1st to bring mainstream gaming into web3 world. Best wishes for all fellow stakeholders. 🙂

I was surprised but I actually find it a lot more fun then zero, and there should be games coming eventually. In the mean time it's the only thing you can get ILV (rewards for being on the leaderboard), and honestly, probably helped save ILV by giving funding and community something to do in this bear market and long buildout phase. You don't have to like it, like I won't probably do much pvp, but don't underestimate it's benefit to ILV and community.

Yes, when game will be fully Launch, players will be able to play Illuvium Overworld with having Fuels generated by Land. Players will just buy the Fuels to play the game, they don't necessary need a land to play it, land are just plot that generated Fuels ( Crypton, Hyperion & Solon) for other games.

My very high level summary is the council should start with a form of Aaron’s proposal, then look at other possible amendments - Nijafe, Ani etc and take onboard feedback and questions/comments. The community has effectively voted against Vet’s proposal. I thought it was a constructive town hall.

Crap. I was really looking forward to the town hall. It was actually very good but I couldn’t keep my eyes open and fell asleep 20mins in since it was like 3am.

Everyone had a chance to speak to their proposal and questions were put to them from other council members and community. It was still debated and very idea discussed from lots of angles. It wasn’t “decided” there and then but Vet himself said the community had spoken against his idea. Will see what comes out of it. At least that’s my take.
