Most of the #🎮〕illuvium-zero gameplay. But only the blueprints will be able to be kept (if minted) before the public launch. The zero dev team has been sharing updates in that #🎮〕illuvium-zero channel and they have been pinned in there.

How long is the alpha testing for Illuvium: Zero expected to last?

The alpha testing for Illuvium: Zero is expected to be split into two seasons.

We are currently in Season 0. At the end of this season, all data, including blueprints, will be wiped and reset. The purpose of Season 0 is to allow the development team to fix bugs and balance issues and to prevent any issues that may arise if player data needs to be reset before moving on to Season 1.

After Season 0, the game will move on to Season 1, which will last until the open beta stage. Another data reset is expected at the end of Season 1. However, players will be able to mint the blueprints they researched as NFTs during the last few months of Season 1. Those minted NFTs will persist beyond the Alpha data reset and can be used to craft skins in the Overworld once we reach the Open Beta.

More information on the minting windows will be provided as the game approaches the open beta stage.

Don't know why we're being so precious about PvP. The team was happy to show off IZ in the early days and that looked awful. The community understands that these things are a work in progress.

For me, it was upholding the correct expectation of quality and not causing spin and concern around how pvp looks. Delaying sharing felt like the better option than sharing something that wasn't to the expected standard. If the council is asked for our perspective on such things, we generally oblige.

We were asked if we wanted to proceed with sharing a PvP battle with the current UI (functional, but with room for improvement) or wait for a UI update that is in progress.

Games get judged based on gameplay footage, and the UI is an important part of that. People have been waiting eagerly for PvP, and it's reasonable to expect a fair amount of community content around the first PvP showcase. For that reason, I felt that waiting for the UI update to showcase PvP was the correct choice. I think having a high quality product to showcase an extremely important gameplay mode is critical given the current overall sentiment around web3 gaming.

I do know our dedicated community wouldn't care about a UI in progress, but as an overall goal we're targeting gamers as a larger demographic, not just our active community.

I think all of us were in favor of the secondary Illuvitar sales being included. It was a very robust and professional discussion focused on finding the right balance. At the end of the dialogue we all left having turned over each of the arguments and positions we've seen the community take several times over.

Appreciate that. The council did a good job with a robust discussion and communication on the point, even if I personally voted the other direction. At the end of the day, the funds may wind up just being redistributed out via revdis anyhow with a delay factor of several months.

Land produces fuel which will enable to do different actions in the overworld, so if you want to produce your own fuel and not have to buy any, then owning a piece of land may be for you. Some people may not ever even play the overworld and only play land to sell the fuel/ blueprints they produce. There’s many different avenues to take. Part of the fun is figuring out which gaming strategy is going to work best for you as a player in the illuvium universe

When playing the game you can leave feedback right in the game. You could also head over to the Auto-Battler area here on Discord and leave a suggestion of what you think is wrong with the game and who you think should play it. The team will read it.
