I mean I had a version of the PvP rules done in 2020 before there were any people on the team. But it has obviously evolved a lot. Game was 3d, then 2d then 3d again.

Hopefully you’ll be able to see my influence, but as always it is the team who builds it.

I like the idea of a game where you have to match some property to the previously played card. They play Atlas with a top hat, you have to play something that matches. Maybe Alphie (water) with a cane. Then someone else plays Rhamphyre with a cane. Then you play a different slayer. Etc. Longer the chain, the more points to the winner.

It’s simple but there are surprisingly large strategy spaces in there.

That’s just an example. It could also be something much better. Like some kind of monster or weird mirror.

It's a deck-builder game where you build a deck with different spells and creatures, which makes up your "Bank" or "Store".

There are not currently any AMMs operating on imx. But imx is expanding its capabilities to provide for the needs of its gaming partners. The plan is for the 3 different fuel tokens to be in a balancer style multi-asset pool along with ETH, all on IMX network. That’s the plan. Whether or not that will be ready by public beta launch is not yet seen.

The flow planned for fuel tokens is for land owners to mint and immediately swap as part of the single process to get their fuel tokens out of the #🎮〕illuvium-zero game and onto the blockchain. It’s done this way to activate the DAOs tap of fuel tokens maintaining the proper landowner:DAO ratio (1:19). Then they either have the ETH they want or would have chosen to get fuel into their wallet for use, which would mean that eth was swapped back for fuel. Since all of this would happen in the same moments at the same valuation I don’t see how there would be any increased tax burden for the land owner.

The reality is there’s a lot of the precise technical aspects that might need tweaked to work at peak efficiency. But that is the plan. There are some community ideas about this being discussed in https://discord.com/channels/760344898200666112/1080380994667941888

Each land tier is probably 3x better than the one below it.

Tier 1 does not seem likely to be able to pay for a tier 1 travel each day. Probably closer to once a week. However… the fact is that if tons of people are paying to play overworld than the land owners will be producing like 5% of the fuel that’s used. So more players spending means the amount of fuel the land owners produce will increase.

The alpha testing for Illuvium: Zero is expected to be split into two seasons.

We are currently in Season 0. At the end of this season, all data, including blueprints, will be wiped and reset. The purpose of Season 0 is to allow the development team to fix bugs and balance issues and to prevent any issues that may arise if player data needs to be reset before moving on to Season 1.

After Season 0, the game will move on to Season 1, which will last until the open beta stage. Another data reset is expected at the end of Season 1. However, players will be able to mint the blueprints they researched as NFTs during the last few months of Season 1. Those minted NFTs will persist beyond the Alpha data reset and can be used to craft skins in the Overworld once we reach the Open Beta.

Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

So you realise this is not a big deal and is inherent. The people claiming that i was forced into it are as stupid as the initial proposal suggested. It's staggering that these people will continue to champion that they were the hero's of the DAO. I'll do whatever it takes to ensure we are the most successful studio on earth. That has been clear from day one. But hopefully now the people who were on the fence realise that. I'd just suggest that before listening to a bunch of anons who have zero experience, or do, but aren't willing to share it because they are scared of their image. Listen to the people who do have experience, who have invested their life into this project. Gov v2 requires you doxx yourself and provide a resume that shows the skills that makes you fit for a council position. Sadly, I think that will weed out almost every person who begs for attention through the distribution of misinformation and antagonising of the team. But we shall see in the coming nomination. I personally can't wait to see these experts rise to the occasion.

I'm all for feedback, I regularly seek guidance from a number of high profile people in crypto. But the people who preach that they know better but aren't willing to show any evidence of why, just becomes frustrating. The whole reason I came up with the concept of Gov v2 was because I would continually guide councils on what to do. Apart from this Epoch, and when Santiago was a council member, I have not received expert advice on any subject we've made decisions on. Alas, I still seek advice elsewhere. Gov2 requires you show why you are qualified. We as founders are not always right, and we do not have all the answers, and we are certainly willing to listen to people with more experience. But the people who spread misinformation and then say "I'm not going to tell you why I know best" are just larping. And Gov2 will weed them out.

And that is why they back us. The amount of offers our team gets from projects that raised 100's of millions in the bull that they turn down. Yeah it's tough for people in a community to invest so much and to be let down with multiple delays. Its a wide spread issue across all projects tho. I think teams are starting to learn about the gravity of the situation they place members and gamers in when they fail to deilver timely. It's never fun to see your time and money devalued due to the failures of those you invest in but it's really no different from a majority of other start-ups and web3 projects we find ourselves in. I hate to see it be the norm so you really have to choose who you trust the most.
