How long is the alpha testing for Illuvium: Zero expected to last?

The alpha testing for Illuvium: Zero is expected to be split into two seasons.

We are currently in Season 0. At the end of this season, all data, including blueprints, will be wiped and reset. The purpose of Season 0 is to allow the development team to fix bugs and balance issues and to prevent any issues that may arise if player data needs to be reset before moving on to Season 1.

After Season 0, the game will move on to Season 1, which will last until the open beta stage. Another data reset is expected at the end of Season 1. However, players will be able to mint the blueprints they researched as NFTs during the last few months of Season 1. Those minted NFTs will persist beyond the Alpha data reset and can be used to craft skins in the Overworld once we reach the Open Beta.

More information on the minting windows will be provided as the game approaches the open beta stage.

-multiple rounds and you choose the order of opening a Mega vs a Standard so as to try and Bluff or Counter what the other player may use
-Point modifiers using Affinities and Classes to see who gets a boost or reduction on points based on what the other person opens
-Point bonuses involving synergies within the same pack
-Using an Alpha D1sk as a "Trump deck", that each person can use 1 Alpha D1sk during the match, and during any round after each player has opened their packs and before the Score is calculated, the player can choose to replace their Deck with the Alpha D1sk instead.

What is your opinion around mini games within the Overworld. For example having parkour kind challenges (run through glowing rings within a limited time window or so) to farm certain minerals ?

I guess one issue with you guys seeing everything is there is a sense of majesty and wonder in the regions lost. You already want jungle gyms in them. When the game starts, you have to imagine you are a ranger that is fighting to survive on a planet where your only way off has just crashed. It's completely isolated. Having an obstacle course doesn't make any sense.

In Sanctum Mesa we can add some things because that is the area where people live.

There will be a tutorial and we might make that competitive.
