Tier 4 produces much more resources from what I’m seeing. Haven’t needed to make more that one resource miner on the t4 because the converter can give you like 1M each time. The fuel seems to grow by a lot on each upgrade as well.

The hydrogen pump is built on a lake, if you have no more lakes you can't build any additional pumps

If you're talking about the upgrade, there's a bug where it shows that you don't have a lake available, but it doesn't prevent you from actually building the upgrade, if you have the resources available.

If you're talking about building storage and needing resources other than hydrogen, you might need to build a converter to change hydrogen into a different element.

After playing for 15+ hours i would seriously consider tier 2 land rather than 2xtier 1. Its just more practical imo even "if" there is some sort of slight benifit operating 2 tier 1 lands.

Converters work really well in this game. The landmark also allows you to convert from the element it boosts into others with bonuses. So a convertor from silicon to hydrogen will do wonders.

I'm playing a T1 plot with a missing element for the test. And I'm able to progress just as well by having 3 converters to that element. It works well even for plots you'd consider "bad"

A T3 should have 0 problems generating elements.

Even if you have 9 of 1 element with a mismatched landmark.

Illuvium isn’t intended as a play-to-earn game outside of tournaments (top players can earn). It’s a play-to-own or play-and-earn game where you recoup some of your spending on the game. The point is playing though, not earning. A play-to-earn model like that is unsustainable. The only exception is land but it’s tightly controlled where you are only earning based on what players are willing to pay in the Overworld.

The survival arena is your training-ground.

Later on with PVP you will see battles for certain rewards similar to hearthstone or TFT. The pro's can gain stuff. Others will play for the fun of it.

The main difference between TFT and Illuvium is that you ówn your champions and can use them in the next game similar to pokemon where you can send your squirtle from Red to gold through mystery gift and then in the pokemon box to emerald-diamond etc.

What is the purpose of the Arena? It is a way to play with your assets in a similar fashion to TFT. You are not supposed to play and earn in the arena unless you are in the top ranks like those in traditional E-sports tournaments.

You are most likely not going to make a profit just by playing the game.

You can play the game and earn in the form of things you can sell for real money in the marketplace, but few people will be able to make a consistent profit.

This is completely different to p-2-e games like Axie where people were working at them as a job, and making consistent, but diminishing profit.

I think you are referring to the Tiers? if thats the case, no you cant turn a T1 into a T2 and so forth.

T3 and T4 also have 'landmarks' which boost further productions and storage. T3 landmarks are for elements. T4 landmarks are for fuels.
