I think we should wait and see what's already implemented in the Overworld before we start changing it. It's possible that this is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, or that it's already been identified as a potential revenue stream.

Generally speaking, expanding storage space in games with limited storage has been successful as a revenue stream, so as an overall idea, I'm interested.

I think its a game balance question. Firstly the sense of opening a pack of cards is the core mechanic at work here. That means you need to have it limited for each payment for travel. That being said given stage 0 is the free tier I.could see reason to adjust it for that specifically. However since we.domt know.the lore we must also consider that.

@agile tapir, just to be clear we have a specific attorney we are waiting on feedback from. This meeting we agreed to give it two more weeks to the next council meeting to try to get that feedback because we believe it should be available. We don’t have the information so can’t share it yet. If we are able to get it we will make any suggested adjustments to Gov V2 to ensure we’re addressing any regulatory risks.

I personally have stated that I am prepared to release before end of the year for community comments to begin, even if we don’t have that update yet. The key consideration here is that we could have some major elements change after release due to some of the regulatory guidance. I think that the community will understand if that happens as we’re in an ever evolving regulatory space.

I think you’re maybe misunderstanding the position here. There is a general understanding of the current impact of regulatory risks on how that applies to Gov V2. We’re waiting for a specific individual to weigh in on this (view it as a legal review).

Also at the same time, this attorney (and others working with Illuvium) are continually trying to stay on the same page with what is a dynamicly evolving situation. The two are related in the sense that a change could have dramatic impacts to our proposed structure. But they are not linked in the same way that we are waiting on some specific piece of legislation. The statement that we are wanting to ensure we maintain compliance in this environment was more a general one that we all agreed on within the council and are taking into serious consideration.

If you have 16GB of graphics memory that definitely helps. There are some bugs in UnrealEngine that only get fixed with 5.1 (we are on 5.0) that cause crashes when you run low on memory. Our game uses a lot so yeah.
