I can't really speak to that. Back in the day I got DM'd by an existing moderator and asked to join the mod team, it wasn't a goal of mine to moderate a server. I just like to help people, and teaching is a great way for me to learn. I've seen people who do have that goal being direct, but I have no idea if it's effective or not. It seems to me that you'd want some kind of moderation track record if you're taking that approach. NFA ofc, and good luck.

that's not accurate. ilz (land) can be used to pump up 3 different fuels which are then sold in the main game, and also to hunt for blueprints that can be used to generate skins for the main game. that's about the overlap there is afaik.

It led to a weird situation where people were pulling their votes and then moving their votes to someone that was further ahead, then other people would pull their votes from other people. People that voted near the end of the voting period would feel their votes don't even matter as it looked already set.

With blind voting you get a better indication of what all of the voters actually want to vote for.
