Can the free to play be expanded to include more elements of the game. In this time of great distrust of anything web 3 the more people engaged in the web2 with the ability to convert down the into a wallet the better. I know they said free to play is like a full experience but I would like all to have a chance at all tiers of illuvials. Maybe a free daily shard with low catch rate. 5 percent for tier 1, 2 percent tier 2, 1 percent tier 3 etc.. the engagement would be there. It’s the cost of customer acquisition let’s say but hopefully they become more engaged.

ASSUMPTIONS: 1 run in OW costs $5. Run takes: 1-3 hours. Per run you get 3-7 illuvials/ some materials for crafting. 10 runs = 30-70 illuvials/a few crafted gears all costing about $50 for 10-30 hours of gameplay. Web 2 games go for 20-70 bucks atm with 20-100 hours of gameplay. Ranked arena in illuvium will have normalized stats as well as you only need 1 type of any illuvial to have all 3 stages of it unlocked for the ranked arena. Which opens the gate to infinite gameplay loop (pvp).

not to mention asset ownership/appreciation/bonding curve/new sets etc

Development costs money so its inevitable that more funds will need to be raised at some point. I think around 12 months of runway is the minimum buffer the team wants to have so they are looking into raising a bit more cash to the reserves.

The only way it seems to matter is the way they interact with other lands. Meaning… can they be part of a megacity or how close to your other lands are they (distance between lands MIGHT impact the cost to transfer fuel from one land to another)

Remember in June when the hype was super high and everyone was excited for a crypto game that wasn't scummy? What happened? Illuvium has lost all transparency and is now just as bad as every other crypto project. It has been 6 months since they said they were going to release illuvium 0 and they still don't even have a plan or date people can see. Even their biggest supporters like Scoriox are beginning to lose hope and feel frustrated. Bad sign. Really bad.

The fees are tacked on top of your ask price.

Technically you are not paying the fee for selling but the buyer is when buying.
