Exactly right. And at the moment there's no plans to make more and these never go extinct. So any new player will always start with these.
You can use all combos of classes and affinities
Obviously getting synergies and composite classes you can but it's a great way to invite people to come play and play with amazing looking illuvials

Probably not, because they are pre-rendering the buildings. Pre-rendered images means 2D. For the color change feature you need an real time render of 3D.

It enables better organization of topics, more flexibility in adding/removing threads as needed (like, as an example, as we move from PB1 to PB2, old bug/feedback threads can be archived and replaced with new ones). Forums also allow much better organization of governance topics.

It will definitely take some getting used to. You can follow individual forums you're interested in as well.
