Even at prices 75% below launch this still feels like you need to dump enormous amounts of money into the game to accomplish anything remotely entertaining or exciting.

I’d like to play more and recommend to others but the cost feels like a pretty big barrier to entry. Not to mention even after spending the money your shards can still fail and your captures can have bad stats and feel worthless.

I love the IP and the worlds the team has created but something still feels off when it comes to game play and economics.

If it was only the travel costs this would feel reasonable but it’s all the stacking costs. It’s not just travel, it’s curing, then fusing, then crafting, etc.

And then it’s mostly random if many of those expenses resulted in what you were hoping for. It’s still just way too complicated to go main stream.

You want max HP/Resistance/Omega/Attack speed imo. You could roll a near perfect monarch with those potentially with the 1st/2nd/fifth. But its not going to have max omega no matter what, unless you rolled 1/2/3. It's also likely not going to be a great monarch unless you get really lucky eitherway. You'll probably have to make another one, or you could find better ace/artace to build better stage 2s.

Smaller orders are less likely to buy up the lowest bidders. If someone lists 10 crypto at lowest possible, the DAO lists 200 total crypto for sale at the lowest possible price. If you bought 100k, that variation would be tiny blip on the scale overall, as you woudl buy up all small sell orders and take you up to where the bulk of the sell orders are located.

Encounters are harder in higher travel stages, because there are stronger Illuvials and more mods. There's also a "bonding curve" which is affected by the total number of each Illuvial type caught; it makes that Illuvial less likely to spawn and harder to capture over time, but it doesn't affect the battle difficulty

Personally I would just go for everything, you need the augments from all the plants when you wany to win hard fights. For the daily goal points look at the milestones for crafting and catching illuvials

I have always received my missing illuvials later (3-4 times it happened to me). If logging out of the game and restarting it again does not help, try logging out of your Illuvium account in your browser too and log back in.

No, after. If you see that your illuvials are missing when you are returning to Sanctum mesa at the end of a run, leave and restart the game right away. Once I had to do this 3 times, plus logging out of the Illuvium account too but then I got the illuvials. It was my first tier 5 holo too, so I was also worried 🙂

Also, I assume this was the first Rhamphyte you found? If so, you can check your milestones, it should show that you caught a Rhamphyte and it's also proof that it is registered in the blockchain, it just hasn't minted.
